IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) "F-fruits!" Mirror exclaimed quickly, "F-from the old world!" IC: Serka - Golden Being's Fortress (Aqua Magna) Oh, well now he tells her. So much for getting an early start on the treasure hunt. Still... that gun would definitely be better than her dagger and axes for fighting... whatever may be down there. And she could always get ahead with her fins later. She snatched a gun from the water breather with a smirk. "Don't tempt me."
  2. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Arena Seemed it was up to her to make the first move. She could already tell this was going to be a long battle... Sting pulled out a dagger, considering its weight and edge for a moment before hurling it toward Reaver's sword arm. She wasn't intending to do any damage (though an early strike would be a boon), but just poke at his defenses.

IC: Serka - Diving Bell (Aqua Magna) Serka followed Joe's gaze, but the grisly sight earned only a smirk from her. She felt confident she wasn't going to meet the same fate. After she finished strapping on her fins and adjusting her mask, she glanced at the others. "Well, what are we waiting for? The sea beasts'll eat canned food just as fast as otherwise." And with that, she dove down toward the parapets, pulling out her dagger on the way. IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) "Th-the Tesara Marketplace!" Mirror stammered. "Y-you have a shop there!" IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun sighed and turned away from the scrap. "Look, I can put this ship together, but I need a few more hands on deck if you know what I mean. And... you said you were interested in the captain's position..."
  4. IC: Fang - Forest of Kaam "No." Fang suddenly snapped, standing and walking back toward the group. His eyes and vents blazed with unholy light. "We're not going to waste all of our time and effort to get away from the Makuta just to go crawling back to Krika!" IC: Melody - Refectory "If you'd like to join, consider it done!" Melody grinned. "We'll have to find everyone else and introduce you!" IC: Canvas - Refectory She glowered as the other Rahkshi insisted on getting food before her while she was doing her best to pick up five bowls on one tray, nearly dropping all of it in the process. When at last he moved on, Canvas swiftly poured in a few ladles while the Porters moved back into place. "So, who's this?" Canvas asked as she meandered back to the table with her tray. Melody seemed so happy to be with him...

IC: Serka - Diving Bell (Aqua Magna) "Save your singing for the deep creatures," Serka snapped. "I'm sure they'd appreciate dinner and a show." IC: Fifteen - Capstone After taking a moment to process what was going on, Fifteen lifted her head, her eyebrows furrowed at the Onu-Matoran. IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) Mirror took another jerky step back, raising his arms higher. "P-please sir... there... there was an attack... I was simply assuring y-you were alright!" IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun didn't pause in his work as he answered. "This ship could always use more guns. Besides, it sounds like you know what you're doing. Why?"
  6. IC: Melody - Refectory She led the small group toward a table and took a seat to tell her story. "I m-met C-Canvas a few d-days ago, and another R-Rahkshi. W-we started t-talking, and C-Canvas had the idea that we c-could form a group of p-people who want to stop f-fighting in the school. At first, it was just the three of us, b-but more people are joining all the time! We call it the Fellowship of Peace, and you could be a part of it if you'd like." She was smiling an infectious grin, looking to Cuutuk in eager anticipation. IC: Tube - Gym As if by magic, Tube had appeared at their Master's side once more, just in time to watch a competitor narrowly avoid defeat. Seemed like an interesting battle. IC: Garrotte - Library "Oh..." Garrotte replied tonelessly as she took it all in. So much knowledge contained in these shelves, it was almost palpable. What mysteries could they unfold if she simply... Okay, she's done taking it in. IC: Fang - Forest of Kaam Fang's plasma vents glowed softly amid his midnight blue carapace, the only light back in the forest where the meager firelight didn't reach. The Hand had gotten away, and with them, the Rebellion's sense of purpose. They were falling apart... and honestly, Fang didn't care. He did care for Kat though... the one thing in this Karz that kept tugging him along like... No... He glanced back down at his hands, the glowing remnants of a pebble he had found staining them. He rolled the molten stone around idly, keeping it warm in his hands. Every now and then he'd sneak a glance up at Kat, who was sitting on almost the opposite side of the group. His ember eyes burned into her for a moment, seeking consolation, purpose, and reassurance before flickering back into the dim of the forest.
  7. OOC: Whoa, sorry, this RP is moving a lot faster than I thought... I'll try to keep up more. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Arena The rest of the course had been much simpler. Her bioluminescence helped her find the drain for the pool which allowed her to pass there, and the only other thing standing in her way was a Kanoka launcher which was easy enough to deactivate with her knives. After all of that, the healing was probably the worst part. But it was a necessary evil, as Dark Hunters don't get breaks. She licked her sore lip as she studied this "Reaver." Another Skakdi, like her, armed with medieval weapons that she would have to stay far away from. Easy enough.
  8. IC: Melody - Refectory She was only half-listening to Sim. She hated to be rude, but she heard something in the Refectory... a certain almost musical sound that reminded her of... Cuutuk! It had been a while since she had seen him, not since he had rather suddenly left after a practice, yet still her soft smile greeted him all the way to her. "H-hey," she whispers as he gets within earshot. "This is S-Sim. H-he's... oh, he wants to join our F-Fellowship, and you can too! There's s-so much I have t-to tell you!" IC: Canvas - Refectory "Hey, back off guy," Canvas glared at the new arrival. "I was here first." She wasn't in any mood to be pushed around by those who weren't willing to wait in line. Then she turned back to Sliver. "Just give me four slops then, whatever you serve them in." In a quick glance back to her friends, she noticed a new face among them. At first, she was worried for Melody's sake, but as she saw her friend's faceplates part in a grin, she turned back to the counter with one of her own and added, "Make that five." IC: Tube - Infirmary "Oh yes!" Tube exclaimed, already slipping back toward the door. Palma would take care of the rest anyway.
  9. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Obstacle Course With a nonchalant shrug, she slipped past Nidhiki and into the maze. There were so many paths to choose from, and she couldn't be sure which ones had already been taken. Sukiru shook her head as she debated, then let her gut pick a random one to lead her through. Ahead of her stretched a long corridor lined with wooden pillars, each of which were holding out two bladed arms and featured gruesome, poorly painted expressions. Seemed easy enough. She sauntered forward, gently pushing past the first two. She couldn't help but admire their blades, even as one nearly took her spines off. She pushed on to the next two, then the next two, noticing how her broad shoulders brushed the dummies to either side this time. It was about then that she noticed the challenge she was being pushed into. Each successive row was closer together, finalizing in a narrow lighted slit that marked the exit. She grunted with mixed disappointment and appreciation before starting to work her way back, only to have the swords swing back around toward her face, giving her a good gash across her lip. She snarled, tasting blood. So that's how they wanted to play it... She picked up her pace, sticking low to the ground until the swords and the narrowing gap between the pillars forced her into an awkward twist. Her spines drooped and caught on the swinging blades, yanking them and causing her to growl in pain. As she whirled around to uncoil her spines from one of the pillars, another sword whirled around and caught her across the back. Red filled her vision, and she roared as she ripped all but the tips of her spines free. The pain only fueled her. Daggers slipped into her hands with practiced ease, and Sukiru barreled through the rest of the obstacles, catching blades and smashing down pillars as she went. It was about the time she was smashing her head against the other wall that she realized this was supposed to be a puzzle for the nimble. Well, to Karz with that. She wasn't going to waste the time to slip through if her method was so much quicker, if not as clean. In fact, she was feeling pretty clever as she slipped through the exit. That is, until she was confronted with a tall, blank wall. It was a dead end. No, no, this couldn't be it. She wasn't going back through that Karz. But with a flash of inspiration, she looked down at her daggers then raised them up, thrusting them into the wall and pulling up. One hand over another, the sharp edge cutting into the stone easily with the force of her muscles behind them. It was working great... until one of the blades snapped off in the wall. Suddenly bearing her entire weight, the other dagger soon followed. She landed hard on the ground again and stared with disbelief at the two broken hilts in her hands. "These were some of my favorite daggers!" she screeched as she threw them aside and charged up to the wall, claws bared. She grasped hard stone, her talons sank into the wall, and she started pulling herself up again faster than ever. A few moments later, she tossed herself up and over the wall... ...and toward the shallow pool on the other side.
  10. Ah okay, I misunderstood. Good for you guys.
  11. Actually, I've been playing Melody since Smudge left, so she's still around. Just to make the decision harder I honestly wasn't even aware we had one.
  12. IC: Melody - Refectory She watches him with a bit of concern. "Are y-you okay?" IC: Canvas - Refectory "I'm going to need four bowls," Canvas said as she approached the counter where Sliver waited impatiently. Canvas' attention was elsewhere, still watching her friends, and she hardly noticed the Rahkshi behind the counter. IC: Tube - Infirmary "There you go!" Tube said as they tried to gently set Diode on a bed, anxious to get out before Palma noticed them again.

IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) Mirror leapt back in panic with arms raised as the merchant turned on him. "P-please sir, I... I... I was o-only trying to h-help!" The last word came out with a bit of a squeak of fear. IC: Fifteen - Capstone She sat motionless except for a quick flinch as Karanta patted her head, even as Rorohiko started slipping from his chair. IC: Serka - Diving Bell (Aqua Magna) She glared at the Matoran with obvious enmity. "It's too quiet. Something should have come to investigate us by now, yet everything is still as the grave. What have you brought us into?" IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun paused with his wrench still wrapped around a bolt. "Oh, okay." He hopped down again and started looking for the gun connections. That's what he was after anyway.
  14. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Obstacle Course As she lay back in bed, she heard the distinctive obnoxious tone of that Le-Toa's voice again, shouting something at the other recruits. "Well Gus, seems its time to get up," she sighed, slightly disappointed no one had bothered interrupt her rest. She was looking forward to showing them the error of their ways. She rocked up from the bed to her feet and walked toward the obstacle course with an exaggerated yawn and stretch while her eyes caught the last of the recruits disappearing into the course's maze of tunnels. So that's how it's going to be...
  15. Well, as Nato said, not a whole lot. Wyrd disappearing has put a big damper on the RP, though we finally got some stand-in GMs to approve profiles and control staff characters: Timageness, Johnrahk, and Scorp. As far as the Fellowship goes, we added a few members, Lucid had a dream therapy session with the Tears, and Canvas had a crazy run-in with Hollow and Xi, but has now finally returned to the Fellowship, who decided to go and get some lunch at the Refectory (minus Lucid and the plethora of other inactive members). The biggest thing going on is Thurisaz's fighting tournament, which is now in the second-to-last round in the Gym. 'course, you missed Omega's Revenge last round, when Orimnoc revealed herself to be another sibling. Join us Zippy.... And yeah, I think letters would be acceptable.

IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) Mirror tugged back again, watching TV with an earnest stare. "Please, sir," he said in a quiet voice. "I n-need you to calm down..." IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) "Good call," Ailun said as he clambered atop one of them to get at the bolts. This new captain was working out better than he thought. IC: Serka - Diving Bell (Aqua Magna) She quickly adverts her gaze as she realizes there was another member of the crew who had managed to slip in at the last second. Another one of them. This would make her plan a bit trickier... but what was three tin cans against the greatest warrior of Tajun? Oh, and her companion. Instead, she looked out through the dim porthole, trying to avoid looking at any of them. "It's quiet..."
  17. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Barracks As the Hunters rolled out of bed and filed out, one figure remained casually sitting up in bed, picking her hideous teeth with the point of a dagger. Her predatory eyes watched Nidhiki with a sense of utter disinterest, just waiting to see what might make this waste of time worth her effort.
  18. Dark Hunter RP? Oh yes! Name: Sukiru Codename: “Sting” Species: Ga-Skakdi Appearance: Sukiru is a little on the short side as far as female Skakdi go. She has dark blue and black armor with a dark brown jacket over it. The sleeves are torn off to reveal developed biceps wrapped in tribal decorations. Her face is angular and prominently displays her trademark Skakdi grin, albeit with a few cracked and missing teeth. Her spines are large yet limp, draping down her back like a mane of bluish-green seaweed. Underwater, however, they unfurl in their full bioluminescent glory. A spine slug she has come to affectionately call “Gus” also hides in the growth, feeding on and adding to her battle lust. Powers: Elemental Water - Only when combined with another Skakdi Accuracy - Her vision power leads to a greater sense of direction, power, and weight, the latter of which she abuses to no end in getting her “proper” share of the reward, a trait her overseers regret and threaten to remove her eyes for on a regular basis. Telekinesis - Her tertiary power, a weak sense of telekinesis. Backstory: Sukiru had none of that sappy tragic backstory slag many other Hunters seem to share. She wasn’t wounded in her past or coerced into joining. She just got bored. Even on the wartorn island of Zakaz, she was never satisfied. She followed a pair of Hunters from Zakaz to Odina and demanded to be a part of their organization, a decision many would rue in days to come as she worked to eke out each and every widget she could from every job. Tools: Sukiru carries a seemingly inexhaustible supply of a variety of daggers on her person, wrapped in a belt around her chest, in every pocket of her jacket, and even a few tucked inside her armor. Skills: Sukiru’s power set and choice of weapons makes her a deadly threat close-up and at range. On the off-chance she does miss a throw, her victim had better watch for the dagger to curve around and plunge into their back. She likes keeping her hands dirty, shunning all other tasks… unless they promise a hefty reward.

  21. Technically, the name for that "trans-icy blue" color is "trans-medium blue" on Bricklink. "Trans-light blue" is the name of the color of Ekimu's mask there, a color the Kaukau was never produced in. So the mistake is actually your own, I'm afraid.

IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) "Do I have... wait, Check-O? Who's that?" The merchant's behavior was bringing to mind all kinds of questions about what exactly he thought he was doing. Mirror finally decided to... well, try to put a stop to it. He plants his feet firmly, pulling back on his arm with considerable strength... though perhaps not as much as the beefy being before him. He stares at TV, waiting for an answer. IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun walks up to take a closer look. Amidst the tangle of crush metal and wiring, he could make out an Impact Crystal Launcher, a Thornax Launcher, and some type of laser weapon, all of which had a decent supply of ammunition. It was as good as any salvage he had ever picked up. With a sharp rap on the engines and a rustle of cloth and metal from his toolbelt, Ailun declares, "Let's get to work." IC: Fifteen - Capstone She staggers as Xaril practically shoves them toward a table, but even as she finds her way over and takes a seat, her eyes are only diligently watching her feet. She hardly hears the conversation going on around her over her own internal argument. I blew it... IC: Sekra - The Makuta Killer (Aqua Magna) Sekra was feeling smug as the bell lowered to the familiar embrace of the ocean. Here she was, on her way to a beautiful treasure and all the recognition that would follow it. No longer did the filthy tin cans outnumber the purer race; ditching the rust buckets and running off with the treasure was becoming more and more viable an option. She glanced over to her companion, searching for some sign he was thinking the same. Almost as an afterthought, she grabs a mask and fits it in place of her helmet, pushing hair out of the way to let her gills catch the dim light of the portholes. Sure she could survive down here without the protection, but swimming in this filthy sea the mechanicals brought with them always left her filling a little sick.

IC: Mirror - Tesara Streets It was starting to occur to Mirror that this being might have a wire or two loose. It was just a shame he was only figuring this out now, when it was really too late to do other than follow him. "Umm... what's that?" Mirror asked as they approached what was probably just a broken down airship in the middle of a junkyard. IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun scoffed at the robot's attempts to intimidate him (though seriously, why did that happen?) and stepped inside his ship to investigate the new haul. "What have we got here, cap'n?"
