GAH WHY AM I ADDICTED TO THIS ALBUM?
-
So you know how people have made various mashups of Homestuck music with other songs, such as Sburban Romance, or Numb Movement (Jay-Z Owns), etc.? Someone should mash the Nyan Cat Song with Walls Covered in Blood. I'd pay big money to hear that. :s:

3DS Ocarina of Time, and now new Weird Al, June's shaping up to be a great month.
-
According to yours truly, that is. Not in any particular order. [Nevermind. Both problems got fixed themselves. xP -Takuma Nuva]

I has tickets. Friday night. It will be awesome. Decent seats, too. Unfortunately I'm on my own. In other news, my Science Fair partner and I have made it to the Canada-wide competition in Toronto in May. Looking forward to that as well. Also, Moanin' by Charles Mingus is an incredible tune. Look it up. -

How long is it going to be until Nintendo starts incorporating button combinations that lower the capture rate when you hold them down just to screw with these theories?
-
Probably going to see them in December (YES) though I need to raise $140 for tickets :/

Just heard the original. I've also heard the Evangelion and K-On! versions. Song is :3

As always, I have a long preamble, so please bear with me. So, as most if not all of you know, Japan's been leveled, drowned, and potentially could be nuked soon if nothing gets in to either find out what's wrong and then stabilize or remove and repair the rods outside. Not only is this an enormous catastrophe that threatens virtually the entire country, but the entire world is one giant ecosystem, what goes around comes around, if we all stand by and don't help out, it's going to come around and bite us all in the end. As such, while I can't do much as one person, I feel useless just sitting, reading about what's going on. That said though, I do have this: And I do have a lot of awesome people. So, I'm considering writing and recording a benefit album/EP, but I feel like a big draw of my music is being free, and benefit albums aren't very helpful if they don't make any money. Which brings me to the question: Would you guys be willing to pay $5-$10 for an album/EP with all the proceeds going to the Red Cross effort in Japan? Please just note that writing and recording an album, even with an excellent cause and support of awesome people like you behind you, is a lot of work, so nothing will be set in stone.

Everybody's got to live together All the people got to understand So, love your neighbour Like you love your brother Come on and join the band Well, all you need is love and understanding Ring the bell and let the people know We're so happy and we're celebrating Come on and let your feelings show Love is all, well love is all Love is all, can't you hear the call Oh, love is all you need Love is all you need at the Butterfly Ball Ain't you happy that we're all together At the ball in nature's countryside And although we're wearing different faces Nobody wants to hide Love is all and love is all and It's easy, yes it's so easy At the Butterfly Ball where love is all And It's so easy All you need is love and understanding Ring the bell and let the people know We're so happy and we're celebrating Let your feelings show Love is all, yes love is all at the Butterfly Ball Love is big, love is small Love is free, love is all At the Butterfly Ball When your back's to the wall When you're starting to fall You got something to lean on Love is everything It can make you sing at the Butterfly Ball Love is all, I say love is all, yes love is all At the Butterfly Ball

Here's three of the most depressing songs in existence, all by Megadeth. Excerpts provided for reading purposes. Youthanasia: "We are the ###### of all the world, with sadness in our hearts. The wounded of the wars; we've been hung out to dry. You didn't want us anyway, so now we're making up our minds. You tell us how to run our lives: we run for euthanasia." When: "And the oath I swear on this day, to share your pain. Until then, until I see your world implode, I wish you death and suffering! Misery to spare! Time to reherse your pain, face the last enemy. I am the last thing you will know. I walked a minefield for you, A coherent ###### with you. How could you do this to me? I trusted you, and I loved you. And you spit back in my face!" And finally, the ever-so-popular In My Darkest Hour: "Life will be better when I'm dead and gone, but I gotta' die first. Please God, send me on my way!" And this is the kind of music I love. Is there something wrong with me?

So I finally sold my first guitar. Sold the whole deal - My old amp, the cord, the bag, everything, for $130. Maybe a bit cheap, but it really wasn't worth much. Anyway, I'm saving half the money, and spending the other half. So far I've bought: >Risk -- Megadeth >This Present Wasteland -- Metal Church >The Human Factor -- Metal Church >Turaga Nuju >Turaga Whenua Debating on whether or not I should buy Megadeth's "United Abominations" and Metal Church's "The Dark" aswell...

WHAT. WHY WAS I NOT AWARE THAT THESE WERE GOING TO EXIST?
-
I know I did when it came out, since being a big Jeff Beck fan I got it and reviewed it release day, but I feel like plugging it again since I'm still annoyed it got snubbed for the best rock album Grammy. Hot guitaring, female singers spanning the range from sweet and beautiful to an awesome Joplinesque gravel, and orchestral accompaniment. If you like music, you'll like this album. It also makes me want to do something with guitar and orchestra sometime in the future, it seems like a fun project...

I take ipod screenshots of what I'm listebing to, and if I feel like it, post it here. Then you people can talk or ask about it or whatever. What do people think about this? Example:
-
*opens iTunes and types in Cryoshell* *realizes their full album is now available* *checks balance* *doesn't have enough to pay for the songs* *;_;* Grah, now I need to decide if I want iTunes money or Pokemon Black sooner.

Almost three years now. Not sure how many people know you since you were generally in the shadows of the stage compared to the Big Man and the Boss, but regardless, I've always been a fan of organs, and I think that may have to do with being exposed to Bruce, and your playing, which I still love today, way back when I was four. Rest peacefully, Phantom Dan.

What kind of music would you say fits a bar in the lower levels of a futuristic city? For those who've played Mass Effect, think Chora's Den, but without the...how can I put this BZP-friendly...'dancers'. The rest, think Mos Eisley Cantina, but darker and on Coruscant.
