(I thought this was unique enough for its own topic) I haven't seen a lot of humanized Kaita, and the ones I have didn't really seem imposing or powerful enough. So I made my own. Kaita are the result of three Toa merging their physical and mental energies into a single form. Tahu, Onua, and Pohatu form Akamai the Volcano, and Gali, Lewa, and Kopaka form Wairuha the Storm. The color of a Kaita's eyes determine which personality is currently dominant. It is also possible for six Toa to merge into a Toa Nui, but the mental and physical strain is immense. Akamai wields a giant hammer. Tahu's sword forms the handle, and Onua's claws and Pohatu's boomerangs form the head. Akamai is able to control the temperature of earth; melting and solidifying it at will. Wairuha wields a halberd. Kopaka's spear forms the handle, Lewa's axe forms one blade, and Gali's hooks form the other. Wairuha is able to control the temperature of water; melting, freezing, and evaporating it at will. They are very large at about 18 feet, and the multiple arms of a Kaita allow them to wield melee weapons and elemental powers at the same time.

Built only using pieces from 70785 Pohatu - Master of Stone, 70787 Tahu - Master of Fire, and 70789 Onua - Master of Earth. I had a little help from a friend (you can find him here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/user/114410-random-potato/). I know it isn't the best thing ever made, so I'm welcome to criticism. So do you guys think that the Toa Kaita will make a return? Will you MOC them if they don't? And has anyone made a decent MOC of Akamai or Wairuha from the 08 Toa Nuva?

So, I was thinking about this the other day, and it's quite an interesting question: Do we know if two Toa Kaita, each with a different three elemental abilities, could form a Toa Seal? I think that they should be able to, seeing as BS01 says that: So, seeing as they can wield multiple elemental powers at once, it would make sense if they could form Toa Seals. However, BS01 also states that: So I take this to mean that Kaita can't make protodermis cages. What do you think?

A long while back, I felt a strange urge to recreate Akamai, the Toa Kaita of Valor. My goal was to use pieces used in BIONICLE sets between 2001 and 2003. However, once I had completed him, I discovered that I had used the Hordika neck piece, a part initially released in '05. Well, we can't all be perfect, so I'll live with it. Sorry about the lighting in the pictures--my equipment picked a bad day to hate me. So, I've suddenly become curious about the Toa Kaita, and have come up with a couple of questions:In some media, such as sets and comics, Wairuha and Akamai had green and red masks. In other media, however, they had silver and gold masks. Which is canon?If the gold and silver masks are canon, will all other Toa Kaita also have gold, silver, and other metallic masks?
