IC:PearlThe little girl raised her hand yet again. Labelle sighed, as Pearl would most likely ask another annoying question. "That was amazing! What happens next?!" Labelle was spared from having to cover up her plot holes this time. If she wasn't drunk, she probably would've realized that if she told the entire story in one post, Pearl wouldn't be able to ask any questions.

ooc: gotcha IC: Labelle smiled. Thats right, she thought, who's The man? Well, if she was a man, she would be The man."Ok, this is how the story continues. After Bottlecap recovered, the Turaga explained what had happened with a theory of his. First of all, Spirits can't use elemental or mask abilities on their own- there is a reason a Toa has the body he does, and not that of a matoran. Second, the armor Bottlecap's spirit form had must be protecting him somehow, since even if Spirit of Ghost were to take on physical form, it would still be weak against elemental and physical attacks. And third, that with every weakness came a strength, even if it wasn't obvious at first. Bottlecap admitted that he did feel stronger than in his Spirit form, and faster too. Still, he didn't like whatever gift his sister had given him- lately he'd began to hear voices when no one was around, and sometimes he saw people that weren't there at the corner of his vision. He mentioned it once to a friend, who promtly told him he was crazy, and so he didn't tell anyone else afterwards. All in all, he was rather unhappy. While training as a spirit- he figured he would at least try to make the best of it- something amazing happened. Well, two things really. One, he shapeshifted into a Mana crab, and back. And other Rahi as well. And second, he began to glow." The shapeshifting part didn't actually have anything to do with the story. Labelle just added it in because she had a Mahiki, and figured if she could make shapeshifiting seem cool to the child, the child would look up to her that much more. "And when he glowed, he was overjoyed. He took it as a sign that he was the Light that would disperse Akutam's darkness. So without waiting for his sister, he rushed to Akutam's lair, as a Spirit of course. This time he knew he couldn't rely on elemental or mask powers- only the great speed and strength the Spirit form gave him. With newfound confidence he slew Akutam's guardians, infected Rahi and Rakhshi alike, and finally confronted Makuta's brother himself. Luckily enough for Bottlecap, Akutam was cocky, and did not think it was possible for even a Spirit Toa to pose a challenge. So he laughed and laughed. He laughed so hard he closed his eyes and cried out of joy. Then, before Akutam could react, Bottlecap slew him with his sword. He ran back to his village to tell everyone they would no longer have to live in fear. But on the outskirts he met his sister, injured and running away from the village. She told him what happened. She told him that she could not take living in his shadow anymore, sharing the glory with him. So she had laid a trap. The golden orb that had given Bottlecap his Spirit form had also been changing his real body. When Bottlecap had gone to train in his Spirit form, his real body had suddenly created a cocoon around itself. Inside it the golden orb worked quickly, severing the tie between Bottlecap's spirit and his body, so that they might never reunite. And then it changed the body, mutated it. Turned it into a monster the likes of which had never been seen on the Island, or Mata-Nui. A creature that fed on spirits. Bottlecap's sister told him that the cocoon had hatched too soon, before she had a chance to take it away from the village - and that the monster inside had killed everyone. She told him to run, since the monster would hunt him down until the day he died by its hands." Labelle clapped her hands, and exclaimed "That's it! Thats the story. Oh, there is more thing." Labelle tried to look at menacing as possible, and made her voice as scary as she could. "They say that the monster still hunts Bottlecap - that's why he couldn't let his real name get out- but that every so often, the monster decides to feed on things other than Spirits. That the monster feeds on children, children who ask too many questions and don't let him do. His. Job!"ooc: Theres your story.

IC: KrianKrian tapped Labelle on the shoulder. "Ahem. I'd appreciate it if you didn't try and scare her."The De-Tiacwas bent over, leaning on his cane, not looking in any shape to make threats. "If you do, you'll have to deal with me."

[Snelly]

IC: Mimira - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Mimira blinked. "What kind of ending was that? The good guy is suppose to win and get a happy ending! Lame." Mimira said from on top of Onuzek's head.OOC: Mimira, the child critic.

IC:Labelle looked at Krian, then at the kids, then back at Krian. She began to laugh. When she was finished, she said "No hurt intended, old man." Are you her grandfather?" she asked, still chuckling. Then, with a very serious face, she turned to Mimira and said "Thats the because the story hasn't ended. Just what we know about it. Who know's, maybe you'll be the one to slay the monster when you grow up?"

IC: KrianKrian bristled. "Old? I'm not old."

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:Labelle saw Krian's agitation, and felt sorry for him. "Don't worry, its not bad to be old. People are like wine- they get better with age." Then she started thinking about wine. Tood bad there isn't more of it, she thought. Remembering there were people around, she continued the conversation. "If you're not old, how'd you get the cane?"

[Krayzikk]

IC: KrianKrian sniffed."I had my power stolen by a winged wannabe demon of a wench."He leaned heavily on his cane, and scowled.

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:Labelle was taken aback. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know. Umm, it wasn't an actual demon, was it?" Unfortunately, in her drunken state, it was a sincere question.

IC:Pearl"Boo!" Pearl cried, giving Labelle two thumbs down. "That was horrible!"

[Krayzikk]

IC: Krian"It might as well of been, the soul-sucking, energy stealing, arrogant, demonic, Valkyr wench."Krian inhaled deeply, having said it all in one breath.

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:"Oh come on, it was not that bad!" Labelle said to Pearl. "And besides, it had everything I told you it had -evil villain, check. Heroic hero, check. Dash of danger, check. You knew what you were getting yourself into." Labelle turned her attention back to Krian "What exactly is a Valkyr, and how does one go about stealing a Toa's power? And if you need help with anything, like walking, just ask, I'd be happy to help a cripple."

[Krayzikk]

IC: KrianKeian's eye twitched at the word cripple. He starrd at Labelle a long time. "If I had all my power, were I in my prime, you would be a very unhappy Toa.""I'm not cripple."

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:"I'm not saying you're weak or can't walk- I'm saying you have trouble walking normally, which you do, considering the cane." Labelle wondered how people could be so ignorant of the intricacies of the Matoran language.

IC:Pearl"I asked you if the Hero won!" Pearl reminded Labelle. "And said I didn't want to hear a story where the hero lost!"

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:"And didn't the Hero win? He vanquished the evil Atukam, didn't he?" Labelle reminded Pearl.

[Mad Scientist BioBeast]

IC:Pearl"No, obviously the monster is the bigger threat! Bottlecap beat the Brakas Monkay, only to find a Muaka hiding behind it!" Pearl said, obviously upset at the story's ending. "I'm never listening to your stories again!"

[Toa Fanixe]

IC:"Fine, then when I found out what happens to Bottlecap, I won't tell you!" Labelle stuck out her tounge at Pearl and made a face.

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Sure."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)“Excellent. I would very much like to see this…Ga-Koro. Every night spent out of the reach of grasping water creatures is a good night.” Khalisk paused, trying to remember something and utterly failing. “I do not like the water. At least on the land you can see before it strikes, at least, most of the time. In the water…” He trailed off, unsure of how to continue the conversation.

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"It's too dark for you to see the Rahi. I get your meaning. Now follow me."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)“Of course, lead the way.“ Khalisk retreated into his thoughts for a moment, strange designs and bits of half-remembered schematics whirled about his head, all of them utterly useless, as they required a technological base to produce, something he suspected this island lacked utterly. Advanced technology was likely rare, if it existed at all.

IC: [Twenty-Eight]The Ga-Matoran nodded, and began to walk in the general direction of the village. As they continued along, they passed by her hut, which was situated near beach.

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (KhaliskKhalisk elected to break the silence as he followed the native. “There are others of my kind in this land…do they share my ah, condition?”

[25K Now!]

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Not really."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC“Unique then, this will allow me to narrow down the number of ways I could have lost my memory. The lack of physical evidence is still bothersome however.” He said, not quite knowing what would interest Twenty Eight. He tightened his grip on the staff, he had not strayed far from the camp in his brief tenure on this island, and he half-suspected a Rahi would jump out of a nearby shrub to savage him.

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Amnesia doesn't really leave physical evidence," she replied as they reached the gates. "We're here."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)“Acknowledged. But the cause may have, a fall, a crash or something of that nature.” Khalisk paused at the site of the village and the gate. “I am concerned; will those plants support my weight?” He gestured towards the aquatic plants the town was built upon.

[25K Now!]

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Yes it will."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)“Good.” Khalisk eyed the gate and the village and spotted a few areas where repairs appeared to have been made. “Was this village under siege recently? It looks as though parts of it have been ripped away and then replaced.” Khalisk suspected he would not like the answer.

[25K Now!]

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"We have some attacks, riots and disasters every once in a while. Recently there was some destruction due to my sister attempting to catch a criminal, but I remember a few months back when two hordes of opposing fangirls stampeded into town."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)"Attacks? Rouge Rahi or an organized force?" Khalisk paused to observe the repairs and made a mental note to ask about the town in regards to the area's history. Something seemed...off about this land. He couldn't quite place it, but somehow the shadows seemed deeper, malevolent even. At first he had not noticed it and indeed, he had no memories to compare these shadows too. But still, it made him uneasy.

[25K Now!]

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Just random attacks."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)"Good. That is better then I had expected." Khalisk hesitantly stepped through the gate and onto the plant path into the village. The native appeared to be correct, it did support his weight though he was unsure if that would last.

IC (Khalisk)“Judging from the damage, an organized attack, it would not have made sense to build a village in an area commonly raided by Rahi. I had thought perhaps, this village had enemies. I am gratified to know my calculations were incorrect. “ Khalisk paused to regard the waters that surrounded the village, and suppressed an uneasy shudder.

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Scared of Rahi?"

IC (Khalisk)“Considering my condition and my…difficulties moving quickly, and the fact my staff is of limited use against a swarm of creatures, I have merely come to the logical conclusion that in order to remain functioning that I must make a fair attempt at avoiding Rahi-infested areas. Something I suspect is not an option in this land.”

[25K Now!]

IC: [Twenty-Eight]"Avoiding Rahi will be rather hard."

[Havelock Vetinari]

IC (Khalisk)Khalisk sighed. “Unfortunate, most unfortunate, however, if villages manage to survive here, then perhaps I will as well. I am better armed and equipped then some of their inhabitants I suspect. Though my wounds may yet be the death of me.” Khalisk still had no earthly idea what average conversation’s consisted of, so he had settled for mentioning only what he thought of as interesting or pressing.
