IC: KellinKellin merely shrugged and turned towards a hole that clearly served as an entrance."Well, then," he said, "down we go."Without another word, he jumped down the entrance.-Teezy

IC: Doomslayer grinned excitedly. His face was now split from ear to ear by the pair of upturned lips."TREZUR! I'M COMING!"The toa drew his kukri to ready for anything. Then, with a hasty "'SCUSE ME", The Captain leaped down into the temple after the De-Toa.

IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom:Without any hesitation or warning, he leaped into the hole, landing nearby the others that also leaped in. "You fools, what if there was a trap waiting right here? I only jumped down myself because I didn't hear any guttural screams of agony from the two of you," he said, looking around at where they had just jumped into. -Ghlist

IC: KellinKellin shrugged. "Just a day or two ago, an expedition came looking for the Kanohi Kartayl. They must have already triggered at least 99% of the traps laid in the temple. Now, please be quiet. I need to see if anything's around us."Using his sonic power, he began to search for any sound waves. Even a slight breath from a Rahi would be detected. But there was nothing."We're clear," he finally shouted to the rest of the group. "Come on down!"-Teezy

IC: Kellin"Fair enough point," he said. "But, in any case, any guardians this place had are long dead. I can't hear anything breathing in this temple besides us. All we have to do is watch out for-"He had stepped on a floor panel and his foot sank, sending a spear flying out of the wall. Using his Pehkui, he shrank down to one-hundredth of his size, sending the spear flying over him and embedding itself in the wall."-booby traps."-Teezy

IC: KellinKellin chuckled a bit at that and began walking, keeping his hearing tuned for anything that might be considered a threat. The sounds of feet as they hit the floor, the sounds of something sliding through a wall: anything Kellin heard out of touch would be instantly investigated. As such, he kept his weapons sheathed, walking casually down the halls of the Temple of Wisdom as if they were merely a Po-Matoran community center."So," he called back. "Anything you find here, you can keep if you want it. I'm not going to try and stop you."-Teezy

IC: The Captain bent down and picked up the spear. He pulled it out of the wall, twisting it so that it hit a floor panel by accident while he tried to bring it before eyes. The toa examined the weapon. Then he threw away the projectile, muttering about how 'un-awesome' a weapon it was. Now Doomslayer straightened and stood to follow the De-Toa."I'll be sure to, cap'n."He was completely oblivious to the three spears that had flew out of the opposite wall and pincushioned his beret with a 'THiss' while sitting.

IC: KellinKellin spun on his heel and saw the beret get pinned, and he shook his head. Dumb luck.He turned, taking a right and headed down another corridor."So," he called back to Kiox. "Where is the mask chamber?"-Teezy

IC: Taikunsa momentarily popped into existence next to Kellin. "Rather exciting, isn't it?" he remarked conversationally, gesturing to the skewered beret. "What with the lack of unsprung traps...""Perhaps our guides are... less than trustworthy?" he ventured, glancing in his comrade's direction.

IC: Kellin"Yes," said Kellin, using his power over sonics to lower their voices so only Taikunsa and Kellin could hear each other speaking. "I've begun to wonder the same thing myself. Pirates, by the look of them. You watch my back, I watch yours?"-Teezy

IC: "A reasonable pact," the martial artist replies, nodding in agreement. "On the subject of their... job descriptions... I'm inclined to agree. They do have a sense of swashbuckling vagabondery or what-have-you about them." he noted, as the beings in question rounded the corner themselves.

IC - Kiox - Temple"This way, kids."Kiox had made his way down the corridor. He reached a fork in the tunnels. For a second, the outlaw seemed to wonder which ome was the correct way, before deciding on the left."Let's go, shall we? Wouldn't want to have the ghosts catch up." he said this a wink, which could've been mistake for dust in his eye.

OOC: Arzanyos from Kumu Islets.IC: Perhaps their backs did need watching. For outside the temple, a Toa had blinked into existence. Arzanyos could hear the commotion in the temple. The Captain was there for sure. Muttering about his hatred of Kaulsi spam, Arzanyos lowered himself into the temple.

IC: The Captain shook his head with utmost seriousness as he followed, causing the spears to clack against the tunnel wall. "No sir, wouldn't want that to happen, sir, as with all due respect, sir, that would freakin' suck, sir, as ghosts are not strictly speaking chill, sir!"

IC: An eery laugh rang through the passage. "Great sense of humor, Kiox. Ghosts." Arzanyos had caught up, and was holding out his spear. The toa did not look happy. "Too bad I can't say the same thing about myself."

IC: ... "Duly noted." Taikunsa said evenly, following Kiox.Lowering his voice to a controlled whisper as well, he nodded his agreement to the Toa of Sonics."Quite. I believe we may need to prepare ourselves for the worst possible scenario, whatever that may be." he said, static crackling in his fingertips.Immediately after he said that, of course, Arzanyos made himself known."Wonderful," he said, to his credit keeping a measured, even tone of voice. "An impeccable sense of timing on this one. I assume you've something to resolve with these gentlemen?" he asked, indicating the pirates before him.

IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom - Following:Ghlist remained quiet throughout the walking, only watching the tunnel and following the others. They hadn't come across any form of treasure yet, but hopefully they would stumble upon a room, or perhaps a cavern full of widgets and other types of treasure. But he wasn't truly here for the treasure, or the money, he was in it simply to be in it, purely to do SOMETHING with his pathetic form of what he called a life. -Ghlist

IC: "I assume you have not earned this gentleman's wrath, friend?" Taikunsa asked, loud enough for all to hear. At Kellin's resonse in the negative, he continued. "In that case, we'd best not tarry any longer. No point in getting ourselves involved in their quarrel, and it would be simply uncouth to interfere, in any case." he said, as he used his Kulasi to warp past the two pirates."Shall we continue on, comrade?" he asked, turning back to Kellin.

IC: Kellin"See you on the other side, compadre," said Kellin, using his Pehkui to shrink and walk in between the legs of Kiox.A couple minutes later, Kellin had rounded a corner and deactivated his mask, becoming full size. He leaned against the wall and waited for Ghlist and Taikunsa.-Teezy

IC: "I do hope Ghlist manages to avoid this confrontation." Taikunsa said, appearing infront of the now full size Kellin."Aside from a few worrying comments on what he intends to gain from this dungeon crawl, he seems like a reasonable fellow. Not one to waste words, but reasonable." he remarks casually.

OOC: Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooossssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.....IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom - Walking on:Ghlist had missed the conversation about 'pirates', or suspicions of pirates, and was simply walking along when Kellin and Taikunsa vanished, gone off to... wherever it is they went. He didn't speak, he only looked around for them, perhaps they had continued on without him noticing. He walked onward through the tunnel, leaving the others behind (OOC: LOLIDUNNO) to continue on by themselves. -Ghlist

IC: "Indeed. Our prize awaits, gentlemen! Let us not keep her waiting!" Taikunsa calls, beckoning Ghlist over and beginning to continue down the path...."This may prove problematic." Taikunsa noted, as he scanned the walls and cielings. "Without our...escorts, we may have more trouble dealing with unsprung traps." he reasoned, turning to the others. "Your thoughts on the matter?"

IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom - Talking:"Simple. Most of these traps are triggered by some amount of pressure on a plate or button, right? Well I just so happen to be a Toa of Telekinesis, and can apply force to those plates and buttons that trigger the traps, sparing us of their deadliness," he said, glancing at the tunnel ahead. "Finding them won't be a problem, if I can just apply pressure on all the walls, the ceiling, and the floor at the same time, any unsprung traps should activate... assuming they are pressure activated, that is," he said, stretching his hands out to complete his task. -Ghlist

IC: KellinKellin shrugged."What I do believe is the fact that most of the traps have already been triggered. We've gone through a good majority of the temple and still have only triggered a couple spear traps. I believe we should be fine with traps from here on out."Turning, he saw a staircase and raised an eyebrow."Don't climb it yet," he said. "I want to test something."He picked up a handful of rocks that lay on the ground and tossed them at the stairs one at a time. When they hit every third stair, the stair triggered a trap, sending out poison darts into the wall beside them."Well," he said with a smirk, "now we know which stairs to skip."-Teezy

IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom - Talking:Ghlist lowered his hands, shrugging as he stepped onto the stairs, making sure to step where the traps wouldn't spring, slowly making his way down the stairs. Just to be safe, though, he sent a wave of pressure down the stairs, and thankfully nothing sprung itself, allowing Ghlist and the others to walk freely down the stairs. -Ghlist

IC: KellinKellin followed Ghlist down the stairs, careful not to step on any that would trigger any remaining darts. Finally, when Taikunsa, Kellin, and Ghlist were down, they stopped at a door, swinging it open and unveiling a giant dead spider creature...thing."Well," Kellin said after a minute, "we have to remember to thank the guys who came in before us."-Teezy

IC Ghlist - Temple of Wisdom - Talking:Ghlist looked at the dead spider, sizing it up, "I'm sure we could have killed this thing if it came to it," he said, walking further into the room. As he did, he barely noticed the tripwire he walked into, and if he hadn't been walking up to the spider to investigate it (crouching to get a closer look at the beast), a large wooden log would have knocked his head clean off.Of course, he noticed the log as it swung slowly back and forth, losing its momentum over time, just sitting there, hanging above Ghlist's head. He stood up, and took a look at the log, walking back to see the bloodied end of the log. "Yes... we should be grateful others died to give us a path," he said, walking further into the chamber the three had stumbled upon.-Ghlist
