"My granddad used to tell me that it was really effeminate and that I should work on making the family name worth something. So...he bought me all the best tutors and put me to work doing stuff so I didn't have time to practice dancing or get vocal lessons. I had to refine my voice on my own time, and if I got caught, I got hit with some pretty harsh punishments.
