Konahrik Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Nuhvok somewhat resembles the original, mainly the head, and the use of Stronius' armor for the shields is pretty cool. The nuhvok va, i'm sorry to say isn't recognizable at all. Maybe reorganizing the color scheme, and perhaps changing the head would make it look like a nuhvok va. Impressive that you were able to keep the ball function on the nuhvok though, not many people have done so. The MOCs are nice, but a few tweaks here and there would make them great. Iblis Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I think your Nuhvok Va Revamp is utterly gorgeous, it also captures the original well, and looks to have some great poseability to it! As for the Nuhvok Revamp, I think it's great that you managed to incorporate the fold-into-ball into it, and the mandibles are interesting, but I can't put my finger on it exactly but I think the head is a bit odd in general; I do like how you did it's eyes though. Otherwise I think the legs could do with a bit of work; they just some a bit to thin &/or straight? He does seem well built for tunneling and breaking apart everything though! >(except maybe if the legs where shorter he'd be better fitted for tunneling?) Just my 2 cents. I am really liking the Bohrok but not so much the Bohrok Va. So even though it is not rubber band usable, I take it you have both the striking and transformations of the original Nuhvok? The eyes and mandibles are some of the highlights for sure. I do like the neck-extending feature (though not really a function) and the ball rolling is still there so it's pretty much perfect. Nuhvok Va is a cool reimagining. Definitely not reminiscent of the original set, but it has a great concept to it and the execution is decent. The limbs do seem a little wonky but the head is pretty original.
