If you're wondering why Tahu, Lewa, and Pohatu don't have their proper hand pieces, those won't connect correctly for some reason. If this ever gets fixed, I'm going to update the models.

Let me know if you want to see the Toa Nuva in this style as well.

Pohatu with one yellow arm looks really jarring. the others look nice, if not a wee bit basic.

A very interesting concept. End result is rather odd, to say the least, but also kind of cool. Think you'll dot he reverse now? 2015 toa in the Mata colours?

I'd rather see the 2015 Uniters in 2001 colors.

This is an interesting project though, and thanks for putting the idea in picture form. It's not the type of thing it would have occurred to me to wonder before, but now that I can see it in front of me, it's really fascinating and I think it shows how differently LEGO uses color in 2015 vs. 2001.

No need. Just render them in the closest thing you can, then simply photoshop them.

I don't thinks it's that easy. The chest plate, the Uniter Crystal Blade, Crystal armor piece seem difficult to render.
Back on topic I agree that pohatu is very odd with a single neon arm but trans dark green eyes is also odd. Pohatu never has never had dark green eyes.

I rebuilt mine differently recently by redistributing them so he has one neon limb on each limb and added tan armor pieces from a Star Wars Finn CCBS figure.
