I like retro songs, and this isn't different.

 

A great song would be Aesir, by Two Steps From (Insert name of Judeo-Christian realm of divine exile). It reminds me of Bionicle G1, especially the version with vocals.

4/5 Epic, bioniclish, I luv it. There's a slight tendency towards some cliches, but they provide plenty of surprises to make up for it.

3/5 - good but somewhat generic, as I've found to be the case with most of Cryoshell's music. I wish these guys would break away from being "that Lego band", focus less on marketability, and try to find their own musical identity. that said, from a production standpoint I really loved the punchy and clear sound of this song (and their debut album as a whole). Jacob Hansen is one of my favorite producers/engineers in rock right now and his mixing style is recognizable in everything he works on.
