:kaukau: Eponine, O Eponine! I totally saw that picture coming. But anyway, Peach00, I wish I had something witty to say, but nothing's really coming to me right now. Just be glad that Velox is going to post right after me, so you have the attention of all the cool people on BZP (which for the rhetorical intentions of this post will exclusively include Eponine, me, and Velox, and assumes that "attention" means the same thing as "approval" and translates into a form of validation that, by implication, means that you are one of us in terms of your coolness).

@Taka: Thanks, Taka. =)

@Eponine: Haha, you got me the cat after all! =D Thank you!

@Jean Valjean: Well, that's good to know I'm cool. =P Thanks!

@Velox: Thanks. =] I'll try to keep writing, although it will be hard to keep being awesome, haha.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It was a great day, althoiugh mainly involving me playing Minecraft for a good part of the day while I waited for dinner. =P Otherwise, I got some great presents. Now I have the good fortune to report my own birthday topic. xD

On the day the wall came down / They threw the locks onto the ground

And with glasses high / We raised a cry / For freedom had arrived

On the day the wall came down / The ship of fools had finally run aground

Promises lit up the night / Like paper doves in flight

I dreamed you had left my side / No warmth, not even pride remained

And even though you needed me / It was clear that I could not do a thing for you

Now life devalues day by day / As friends and neighbors turn away

And there's a change that even with regret / Cannot be undone

Now frontiers shift like desert sands / While nations wash their bloodied hands

Of loyalty, of history / In shades of grey

I woke to the sound of drums / The music played, the morning sun streamed in

I turned and I looked at you / And all but the bitter residues slipped away

slipped away...
