I'm not sure there is a point, really. it's just kind of fun. there's probably some subconscious reason people post in topics like this, but that's how I've always seen it anyway. Is it for making people extend their musical knowledge (as has been my case, with Emilie Autumn and Septicflesh), or for showing off how great one's musical tastes are? Or both things combined, or something else entirely?It's just for sharing whatever people might be listening to, anything else that people get out of it is up to them. I think it's great that you guys share music with one another, although personally I just post here for fun.
