Kanakalackin Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) This is something that I cobbled together for fun. I got the inspiration from Doctor Who Season 1 Episode 2: The End of the World spider robots. It features: Autonomous walking mode: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CKinVA/MOCS/008.jpgStorage mode: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CKinVA/MOCS/storage.jpgGun mode: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CKinVA/MOCS/010.jpgMind Control mode: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CKinVA/MOCS/009.jpg (Yes, that's me )eye can be used for recording as well as espionage (laser).Integrated bomb system As always, I am open to any C&C! Dual Cee Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I can see what you're going for here, only the disign looks rather very simple doesn't it? Quote I'm back!

Hitoshura Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I agree with Dual Matrix, it looks simple but I like how you made the legs so they're a flexible and stuff. Quote profiles
Dralcax Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Nice! I love the spindly appearance, and the body is amazing yet simple. My only complaint is that the Mahri blades seem huge in comparison to the thin legs, I'd suggest using smaller tooth pieces instead. Quote
Kanakalackin Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 The problem with that is that it won't support the weight of the body. Quote I have an Instagram page where you can see these pictures and more like them! Just click HERE!
Zacian Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) I disagree with everyone else. The legs don't really look so simple. Well sorta simple. No offense though. Edited March 22, 2013 by Toa Kranan : TOUAB Quote
Voxumo Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Well i have to admit i like the moc. i mean it is simple but pretty good. I like how the eye flips down to do the gun bit. The legs are pretty neat.i give it 3.5/5 Quote Banner made by Onaku BZPRPG CHARACTERS Syvra-Tivanu If you interact with one of my characters and I don't respond or acknowledge the interaction within a day, send me a PM. The 1st Shadow Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Small, simplistic, and carries that sense of menace present in most spiders. Despite the small size, it actually looks pretty good. Though I must agree with Dralcax--the blades on the legs look huge in comparison to the body. Quote ~Your friendly, neighborhood Shadow ~Credit for Avatar and Banner goes to NickonAquaMagna~
Kanakalackin Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Thanks! Even though the body is small and compact, it's heavier than the rest of the body. The legs with the tiny baraki teeth parts don't hold the weight of the body. So the mahri nui daggers were necessary. ShadowVezon Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) cool moc! Edit: Please try to leave some constructive feedback next time. Obsessionist Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Looks like loads of fun! It's simple, but I'm glad you didn't try to add more, it would have detracted from the aesthetic you have going now. Reminds me of Doris from Meet the Robinsons. Maybe something in the technic holes in the last black part of the legs? Trans-red or light bley studs would look good. Quote
Kanakalackin Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) Thanks! I never thought of that. I'll make sure to do that before I send it to BrickFair. EDIT: What's light bley?
