  1. Yeah, but I don't think they are changing it just to change it. It seems that in recent years LEGO has being making strides towards reaching out to girls, which is great. It was also annoying that every blue hero was female. What's wrong with blue heroes being only gals? There's nothing wrong with it, it's just kind of a boring trend. I like it as a trend. It seems fitting for graceful, flowing, beautiful water to be a female element.
  2. It should be, else who will take care of the person who has no children in their old age? Last I checked, here in the 21st century, we have handy facilities where caring people can take care of old folks. (That also seems like a very selfish and dehumanizing reason to have kids but that's just me.) I know about senior care, and wasn't referencing it at all. I just think that a child should still have a (mutual) love and respect for their parents even when they're grown ups. And no, I'm not saying you should have kids if you don't want to. (But if you did have kids, wouldn't you want them to help you out if something happened to you in the future? i.e. an injury, financial problems, or something?)

  4. Hello everyone! I was wondering if any of the people who went on the LEGO Inside Tour would be willing to post some pictures of the exclusive Gali mask that was handed out on the tour. That would be awesome! I'm sure other members would like to see pictures of this as well. Thanks, ~KopakaFan116~
  5. Yes, let's put adult sexual themes in a children's toy line for ages 6-14. Let's not.
  6. The teaser trailer for my new series is here, coming this fall to Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBAGARpC1SY
  7. The SHIELD Helicarrier retails for $349.99 in the US.
  8. My favorite console game is Bionicle: Heroes. Sure, it's not perfect, but I love the third person shooter aspect of the game, the open world exploration gameplay, and the beautiful soundtrack.
  9. Let's hope so. A console game would be awesome, even if it was only for 3DS and PSVita.
  10. Aanchir, I was only speaking of the computer animated online videos, such as the To a promo videos, and such, just like I stated above.
  11. I believe from my observations that Bionicle Gen. 2 is meant for a younger age, because: -The story isn't as complex as Gen. 1 -The style for the online animations isn't as detailed compared to the computer animations of Bionicle Gen. 1 -The age ranges go from ages 6-14, not 7-16 (Which is funny, because the later years of HERO FACTORY set age ranges were from 6-16) -The story isn't as dark -The online animations have WAY more humor than Bionicle Gen. 1 animations ever did -There is not as much overall content compared to Gen. 1 -The BIONICLE: MASK OF CREATION gameplay is repetitive, and relies on clicking, or touching with your fingers, similar to many games younger children enjoy nowadays Those are my thoughts.
  12. Not to be annoying or anything, but the age ranges for Bionicle 2015 so far are small sets 6-12, medium sets 7-14, and larger sets 8-14.
  13. Now they just need to make a Ken Ham vs. Bill Nye T-shirt.
  14. I got the last one. https://www.flickr.com/photos/129233339@N08/16460693598/
  15. I know, right? with all the new Bionicle stuff coming, I still want to be a part of getting the magazine, but they just decided we're not allowed to get it anymore.
  16. I bought Tahu at my local Target yesterday, guys! He's better than I imagined. They had all of the protectors, the lord of the skull spiders, and Tahu, Kopaka, and Pohatu.
  17. The "Bionicle: The Legend Begins" movie is a project I am currently working on. It will cover the years 2001-2002 leading up to the Mask of Light and will feature many Bionicle clips and maybe even some stop-motion. Make sure to turn up your volume and go to 1080p! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kOAjcWE6uE
  18. I found a sealed Hewkii Mahri set at a garage sale for only $1 once!
  19. I don't believe children think about these concepts as much or quite the same way as we do. We have to be mindful this is a children's play theme, and they can't please everybody. So far I think that the Lego Group is doing a great job of catering to the target audience with the return of this theme.
  20. Someone seems to be "unintentionally" trolling for another "controversial" thing that no one really cares about. lol Like Lego would put something like that only to risk losing a large part of their marketing segment of traditional families to support some random cause that has nothing to do with selling toys? lol You sir (or madam) are a funny man (or woman). lol (Besides only a troll would attempt to provoke people into responding to something so non sequitur to the actual discussion.) Anyway, enough laughing at idiocy in the making, and look to the real topic in the room. lol First off, I don't even see the point of this discussion... it was painfully obvious that the "one voice actor" was really just the narrator, and second, people act as if they have never heard an narrator tell a story? Come people... I feel sorry for the one's who can't tell the difference between an obvious open book narration, and an actual cartoon with voice actors. (Which I still hope Lego considers doing this and finally replace that awful Chima whatever. lol) Hahaha, I can't believe how many people actually believed that was Gali's voice... I mean, there are choice words that describe such levels of ignorance or lack of thought, but a big Black Six wrote rulez I can't. Go home kids, I'm pretty sure the mystery is solved. Edit: Your post here is entirely disrespectful and uncalled for. You have lost Proto for it. -Wind- First, thanks Windrider for calling out that post, I appreciate it Second, I'm not looking for another 'controversial' thing to talk about, I'm just trying to spark new ideas in the community. Anyways, this has already been dealt with, so I'm not going to do anything further, and I hope that you maybe give a pinch more thought before using sarcasm, it's really hard to convey it in a digital space. If you want to PM or anything, I'd be open for talking On to the real stuff, I think that whether one headcanons a character is their own business not that it's a bad thing, and I love hearing new headcanons, what I'm trying to say is that we can't dictate what one person feels. Unless the headcanon announced puts somebody's identity at risk, it's totally a fine to have one. In addition, while I'm not trans myself, I have some trans friends who love seeing people recognize that transgender is a real thing, and they certainly enjoy a non-intrusive headcanon I'm glad you're not looking for trouble. We should all just put our differences aside and be a Bionicle community instead of making topics where a HUGE CONTROVERSY ignites. And people can think what they want, we shouldn't force them to think otherwise, as that would be cruel. And my thoughts on the Gali video: I thought it was kind of different that they used the narrator in all the videos, but it makes me feel like the story is more legendary, like a turaga was telling us about the characters. As far as I can tell, Gali has been confirmed to be female, unless confirmed otherwise. The voice actor is male, however.
  21. isn't she basically the stereotypical Tumblr user? Oh, yeah! DEFINITELY!
