IC: An awkward silence had fallen between the group. After half a minute Gadgeteer broke it."Alright N-Ber, you've guessed our true aims. We would appreciate your aid. We were just about to board a plane for England, come with us..."In the silence he had been thinking. There were three reasons why the Coalition might be sending its agents after Lady Hexas. The first was that they hoped to offer recruitment. Unlikely, Gadgeteer guessed, given that there were hundreds of more subtle ways they could do so. The second reason was that they wanted the Operation: Lockdown files as much as she did, and were hoping to either steal them off of the heroes or off of her, whichever side retrieved them first. This was more likely, but one had to wonder, if they did know about the files why they hadn't attempted to steal them in the past. The third and most likely reason was that they saw Lady Hexas as a potential threat and wanted her eliminated. By getting their agents to do exactly what Negafire had done - pretend to be a hero and infiltrate the groups of real heroes - they could ensure her defeat without ever officially getting involved at all. Gadgeteer felt that this was more the Coalition's style. As for Negafire himself, Gadgeteer thought that it would be best to allow the villain to accompany them on the mission. Resisting him was just causing an argument, and he hadn't been lying before when he said that his powers could potentially be very useful. He was also a potential troublemaker, but since the pyrokinetic had no idea that Gadgeteer was in contact with Carapace (and thus knew who he really was) Gadgeteer had decided to pretend to have fallen for the 'N-Ber' story. In trying to stick to it, Negafire would have to act with a little more self-restraint than if his villainous qualities were known. As for the The Whistler, he had surprised Gadgeteer by displaying a sensible degree of suspicion upon Negafire's arrival - this made him wonder if the initial appearance of lunacy was just an act meant to throw enemies off-guard.The four of them made their way across the concrete and toward the deserted aircraft. A wheeled staircase sat nearby, which Gadgeteer hauled into position. He allowed the others to enter before climbing up himself, casting a quick glance around the airfield for any pursuing security teams - there were none yet, thankfully. He ducked inside, glancing around the interior - it was a normal passenger plane - before marching towards the cockpit. He left the others to get comfortable, maybe raid the on-board food supplies...

IC [NYC/Steven]"Eh. That wasn't me." Steven looked at the now normal screens and shrugged. "I wonder if that happened everywhere; it'd be pretty odd if it was some American thing. Then again a hacking on a world wide scale? That'd be pretty odd in and of itself. What do you suggest we do?"

"Uh... Well, I have a feeling you don't want to go to the League HQ. So we... stop her by ourselves? I guess? I don't know!" said Taylor, obviously confused. And you had to cut her slack - talking sharks threatening to destroy cities wasn't normal.

IC [NYC/Steven]For Steven this was met with his usual jaded response; sharks taking over the world was weird, but after having seen superheroes, supervillains, alien invasions and other general nastiness, he couldn't quite honestly care less. Whatever happened, he'd see to it he wasn't there when it did. At the same time though, this superheroine would probably dash off to the League to help; regardless of how much they may or may have not bonded, they had just met each other mere hours ago. With the alcohol induced haze fading Steven's trust was going down by the minute."Me, I would suggest staying away from any cities on the destroy list. NYC, notably."

OOC: Okay, sorry about that, guys. From what I can tell I should have no problems again from here on out. :)IC: (League Headquarters)Have you ever been punched by a diamond fist? The hardest substance on Earth connecting with your face would be enough to cause permanent mental damage, if not facturing of the skull and instant death. Luckily Spex had been moving back out of the car as the punch was flung, and as such he had moved just far enough away that the fist barely connected with his head, knocking him onto his back and skewing his glasses. What was visible of his eyes was a solid blue - no discernible sclera, iris, or pupil - and crackled with light and energy."Hey, watch the glasses, will yah?" Spex shouted at Shard. "Those are irreplacable, you know!"Impact stepped forward, hurling three or four concussive waves at Shard, intent on blasting the Hero out of the car and making the escape vehicle safe for the Villains. Blowhard was lashing out at the remaining Heroes again, keeping them at bay with huricane force winds while the Villains regrouped.OOC: Soon as Shard's out of the way the Coalition goons can skedaddle, and we'll just assume that the obscure people like Dread left with them.As for Grau, Maple-Man was ambiguously leading him away from the main battle so that he wouldn't be a threat to the Heroes trying to recapture Aquarius, but if you want to just have him abandon the fight and leave with everyone else/deal MM a non-life-threatening injury to keep him out of the way, go right ahead, ToD.IC: (Psionick)Laundro-Mat waved his arms, and the clothes that were perpetually orbiting him lashed out suddenly, a stream of t-shirts and jeans soaring through the air at Psionick. With an absentminded flick of the wrist, the deranged Villain also sent a woolen blanket hurlting toward Nihilo, not even bothering to look at the undercover Coalition member...IC: (NPC - Superbeing Smackdown!)Pyroclast saw the ice daggers in one of those quick glances at Sluice and, abandoning the fireball, dove to the side. As she did, she also employed a trick that could be considered the pyrokinetic equivalent of what Sluice had done to her - a wave of heat blossomed from the spot that Pyroclast had just been standing in, melting the daggers into harmless jets of water as they passed through it."Nice trick," she said, turning the momentum of her evasive maneuver into a slow circling around Sluice. "Now it's my turn." Pyroclast held a cupped hand in front of herself, a glob of reddish-yellow goo forming above her upturned palm. A baseball-sized sphere of lava twisted and turned in on itself as it floated inches above her glove; that was certainly nothing a typical pyrokinetic could conjure. Quick as a flash, the Villainess hurled the sphere at Sluice, poised on the balls of her feet in anticipation of the Heroine's next move...The green flame struck the ground roughly three yards behind where Fellwyd had been standing, flashing brightly before spluttering out as a normal fire would, leaving behind a scorchmark. Nothing about Mage's brand of fire seemed different from typical fire save the color.Mage spun on his heel as Fellwyd moved, swinging his staff around and letting loose a stream of the odd-hued flame as he did. There was no need to aim a blast at Fellwyd when Mage could simply launch a large swath of fire in the alien's general direction...~Lord Rahl~

IC: Of course Shard knew a full-on impact with a fist like his could honestly kill a man - he pulled his punches as a matter of course these days, one reason why he hardly ever seemed to hit anything. The only real way to pull a punch with a fist like his was to punch rather slowly, and that was inefficient. If the blue guy hadn't stopped to try and blast him away, he wouldn't have even tagged the goggles. Wait, those were irreplacable? What were they made of? If they were so special odds were it was some kind of crystal ble-This was when Impact happened. Caught off-guard for the second time in ten seconds, Shard was promptly blasted right out of the car (taking a chunk of the car's side with him), hurled into the opposite wall and dropped to the ground, still in the exact same pose as he had been before being blasted. After a few moments of colorful mental cursing, he groaned and looked down. His chest was a forest of cracks, mostly shallow and easily healed, but still painful. On the bright side, the wall here was largely plaster, and it took much more damage from the impact than he did. It was mostly the concussive waves that hurt him. Having assessed the severity of the damage, he stood up and grew a spike of diamond out of his arm, which he promptly launched at the car's engine. Growing another one, he turned to look at the villains. "You can't seriously think you're getting out of here."*H-D*

IC: SkyraSkyra liked Shard's attitude. He got up from the floor and stood next to Shard. "Ya that's right, you villains can't esca-Argh!" Skyra winced painfully, he fell to his knees and clutched his head with his hands, something was wrong...his head felt like it was gonna explode...what was going on....maybe this was why Dr. Light had been so reluctant to try to heal his concussion.

IC: (League Headquarters)Impact gave Skyra a contemptuous glance before returning his attention to Shard. "You're doing a grand job of stopping us," he replied, gesturing around the room and the rapidly dwindling ranks of Heroes. "I would have thought that you would have a bit more security at your headquarters, but you clearly have no qualms with us waltzing in and trashing the place." Then he raised his hand, palm facing Shard, and let loose with more concussive waves, intent on stalling the Hero while the others made good on their escape.~Lord Rahl~

IC: Gadgeteer entered the cockpit, seating himself carefully in the pilot's chair. His gaze swept over the complicated control panel before he jabbed his right palm at it. The adaptable connection port extended, settled itself snugly into the plane's electronic systems, and within moments a variety of options began to appear upon Gadgeteer's HUD. Recalling what he could of his experience in flying smaller aircraft, Viktor was soon able to start the plane without problems. The engines that hung from its huge wings began to power up, droning louder and louder as they did so. The vehicle rotated slowly in place, then began to roll steadily towards an empty runway.IC: Lava! That was a tad more than Sluice had been expecting. Her instinctive reaction was to gather more water moisture to block the flaming attack, but logic soon alerted her that it wouldn't be enough. She dived to the side, feeling a graze of heat as the sphere passed by her - and that was at a distance of several feet. She got up as fast as she could, pacing randomly. A part of her consciousness remained command over the cloud of more-humid-than-normal atmosphere surrounding Pyroclast, making it follow the villainness as she moved. The main part of her focus was poured into creating more ice daggers to hurl at her opponent, this time at every angle she could conceive. She wanted to test whether Pyroclast could block an assault from all directions at once...

Dieter Geist, Grau/Mansion Holding Aquarius, Helping the EscapeIC:

Maple-Man would suddenly realize that Grau wasn't following him. This would lead him to likely look in every direction, trying to judge where the villain would pop out at him. However, Grau emerged from the one place the hero likely wasn't expecting; he came from behind, where the hero had just checked. Walls were such glorious objects in which a person could hide. Grau left Maple-Man on the floor, stabbed through both calves and shoulders. It wasn't fatal, but he had to get back to the main fight. Thus, the villain dashed to where noises of the conflict were emanating. On his way, he sheathed his rapier and pulled the claymore off his back. It was probably going to be a big final fight, he needed a big sword.

OOC: Wow, how many times did I check this page and never realize that Kumata had posted? *facepalm* That's the only downside to everyone having the same (albeit awesome) banner...IC: (NPCs - Superbeing Smackdown)Pyroclast had an idea of what she was dealing with now, and as such was hardly phased by a swarm of ice daggers hurtling her way. She surrounded herself in a nimbus of heat, the daggers melting into harmless jets of water within a foot of her skin. Like Sluice, her concentration was split, as well. Her hand cupped as if she were trying to conjure another ball of fire, her brow furrowed in concetration, it seemed like she had completely given up on the Heroine. IC(Whistler): After politely acknowledging Lone, the Whistler had taken a seat near one of the plane's windows, dividing his time between keeping an eye on this N-Ber character and watching the landscape outside.IC(Fellyward, apparently): The alien was momentarily reassured by the lack of special effects regarding the green fire, though the new, continuous stream of fire was a bit of a set-back. Increasing his pace to a run, the alien attempted to get far enough ahead of the flames to move in and go on the offensive. If the enemy was dedicated to the continuous-stream approach, this might work, but if the oddly-dressed man decided to just flick the stream ahead of his target, things could get messy...

OOC: Hmm, I should get an avatar so I stand out better then. Or maybe you should just pay more attention Rahl! :PIC: The droning of the plane's engines grew louder still, as the craft rolled onto the concrete stretch. All systems were running as expected, Gadgeteer observed. He sent a few more mental commands, and among other things, the 'fasten seatbelt' signs illuminated in the passenger cabin. Well, he didn't want his teammates getting injured before they even got to Lady Hexas. The volume of the engines increased rapidly, and with a surge the plane rumbled forwards, faster, faster, faster, until that sudden feeling of buoyancy hit the stomachs of its passengers and they tilted upwards, leaving the runway and soaring into the clouded sky.IC: Waves of heat hit Sluice from below, and coupled with the sudden softening of the ground beneath her feet it was pretty clear what was happening. She willed water moisture to gather at her feet and darted forwards, the ground hissing and cooling temporarily where her frost-coated feet met it. The technique wouldn't protect her once it had completed its transformation into lava, but Sluice was hoping to reach Pyroclast before then. She was thinking (rather reluctantly) of her battle against the Confinement-escapee Doomshroud. Though it wasn't a memory she was fond of, the skirmish had at least allowed her to come up with this maneuver for safely attacking heat-shrouded enemies. With that in mind, she aimed a sweeping kick at the villainness with a leg now covered all the way up to the knee in ice...

NPC: As soon as the hard part of getting the plane in the air was over, Carapace spoke again in Gadgeteer's helmet. "This cabin is secure enough for our needs. By the time you arrive at the airport near Jodrell Bank there will be less than ten hours remaining, so we must use the intervening time to plan."I have constructed a pair of aliases you may use once you arrive: An enigmatic but respected astrophysicist by the name of Dmitry Kolyevich and a registered League hero known as Hack, recently inducted. It's up to you to whether you would prefer to approach incognito or risk alerting Hexas to your arrival, but remember the labcoat doesn't cover your armor. Your companions will be provided with aliases of their own if need be."I have also configured the autopilot. You need not be at the controls until the last ten minutes of the flight. Once we are finished here, I reccommend getting to know your teammates' abilities and temperaments better so that you may coordinate more efficiently in combat. "Finally, I have uploaded blueprints for the entire Jodrell Bank facility to your navigation systems, including information on each office and laboratory, and highlights for those most likely to involve our mission. If I am unable to guide you for any reason, these will serve as waypoints for your investigation. Any questions?" It really was a shame Carapace couldn't see Gadgeteer's face right now - aside from the flood of information, it would have been interesting to see how he reacted to the amount of influence his mysterious benefactor had and how quickly and easily he exerted it. Well, vocal cues would have to do for now.{H-D}

IC: Viktor sat quietly for a few minutes, absorbing the new data as it streamed across the HUD of his armour.Strangely, his first thought was regarding the autopilot. He hadn't forgotten that the entire reason he was undergoing this whole heroic charade was in order to gain the means to escape the United States, where government agents were still searching for him. He had the very means at his disposal now. But he saw that it would be futile to try and bow out at this point - it would only do more harm than good, as Carapace would likely be annoyed at the desertion, and had enough information about Gadgeteer that he could either aid the US government in their task or else send his own agents to enact punishment for the betrayal. So as soon as Carapace mentioned the autopilot, Viktor decided once and for all that he would have to see this mission through. A vague concern began to form in his head that Carapace's influence was extensive enough that he wouldn't be able to simply slip away when all this was over, but he shunted it aside for now. After that he considered the tactical information he had been given. It was all very useful, and very professionally laid out, but Carapace would be mistaken if he had been expecting praise from the stoic Russian. It didn't stop Viktor from starting to trust Carapace a little more, though. Whoever he was, he knew how to organise. He was the sort of employer Viktor would have liked to have, were he still a mercenary."Jodrell bank has many employees," said Gadgeteer finally, "since Lady Hexas's presence there is not publicly known, they must be attending work as normal, and outwardly the facility must appear undisturbed. There are three possibilities as to what is going on inside. Either the employees are being held hostage, they are all agents of Lady Hexas, or Lady Hexas is occupying the facility in secret. I would lean towards the first possibility as being most likely. In any case, I believe an undercover approach would be most effective. To this end I have two requests of you: that you formulate additional aliases for my companions, and that you create some manner of paperwork providing an excuse for us to be visiting the facility - an arranged tour, inspection, or some other thing. I can print the paperwork once we land. However unwanted our visit might be, if Lady Hexas is in control of the facility she will not able to repel us outright for fear of arousing suspicions. From there we will gather what information we can and strike when it would be most effective. If Lady Hexas is occupying Jodrell bank secretly, then we will have greater freedom to move around, and will expend that freedom to seek the whereabouts of our target."After a brief pause a troubling thought entered Viktor's head. He vocalised it, to see what Carapace would have to say on the matter."There is also the possibility that Lady Hexas has left the facility by now, if she does not intend to make any further broadcasts..."

OOC: Okay, assuming KILL's repaired the damage we've caused, we are outta here!IC: (League Headquarters)With Impact pummeling Shard with concussive waves and Blowhard keeping the other Heroes at bay, Spex rounded up the remaining (conscious) members of the Coalition and herded them into KILL. Impact caught Grau by the arm, however, and nodded toward the Heroes. "Someone's going to have to cover our escape," he pointed out. "Spex and I can use our abilities from a distance, but as you are nearly impossible to capture perhaps you wouldn't mind helping keep them occupied while we escape. Maybe find out what happened to Archmage and Meltdown, if you can manage it."Without really checking to see whether or not Grau agreed to the plan (Impact was technically the leader of the mission, after all), he turned and charged a concussive wave of air that sliced through the assembled Heroes' defenses and knocked them on their backs. Grabbing Blowhard and shoving her toward KILL, the Villains began to make their escape...IC: (NPCs - Superbeing Smackdown!)As Fellwyd sped forward, Mage assumed a two-handed grip on his staff, tilting it sideways and sending another jet of flame out the opposite end of the shaft. The result was two streams of fire shooting out in an L-pattern, blocking off the alien's advance and essentially funneling him toward the wizard-themed SuperVillain...Pyroclast flailed backwards as the kick connected, knocking her feet out from under her and toppling her to the ground. She rolled to the side, throwing up a wall of flames between herself and Sluice as she did. Now that she factored in the humidity, it was merely a matter of more concentration to ignite flames, and the farther from the wall she got, the less her personal cloud of moisture affected her fire. She climbed back to her feet a a few yards away from Sluice and lashed out with her hands, pushing the wall of fire toward the Heroine...~Lord Rahl~

The arm wasn't actually caught; Grau was intangible after all. But he listened to Impact and nodded to show his recognition. He then turned to the group of heroes, rolling his eyes. He didn't have to do it, of course. But he didn't have anything better to do. Thus, with a vicious smile upon his face, he charged towards his enemies, his claymore in position to lop off their heads.

IC(Fellwyd): Seeing the addition of a second jet of flames to the equation, the alien pivoted, taking a more direct rout towards Mage as he charged his opponent, head down, intending to either snatch the staff or snap it in half when he got close enough to reach it.In the alien's mind, it didn't seem like a very good strategy - it wouldn't be difficult at all for Mage to tilt his staff again, aiming a jet of flames directly at Fellwyd, but if the fight continued as it had been, the end result would simply be Fellwyd getting worn down to exhaustion by running circles around Mage, and that was even less likely to end well than this sudden charge.

IC: Sluice began willing water moisture to assail the fire wall, which would cause the flames to die down. The process was slow, though - she had to maintain the ice upon her feet, since although the floor was no longer becoming lava it was still very hot underfoot. She didn't lose her mental grip on the cloud of humidity that was surrounding Pyroclast, either. She had a plan, if she could just keep her opponent at bay long enough to enact it...

NPC: Ultionis was cursing madly inside. How exactly did all this happen? These villains had just burst inside the headquarters of the League of Salvation, in the middle of New York City - AKA Superhero Central - grabbed a high-value prisoner and were now making their getaway despite heroes on every side. It was like some cosmic force was forbidding the good guys from winning this one for any reason. But, as usual, there was no time to ruminate on the concepts of fate and free will. Windbag or whatever was no longer an issue, but the villains getting away was. The phaser headed towards him also qualified, though.The soldier rolled away, buying himself some time before that massive, armor-defiant blade could show him his innards. He had one thermal grenade left, but the phaser would have to be distracted before he could use it. Otherwise he'd just kick it away again. There was one other trick up his sleeve, though - from a pocket concealed under an armor plate he drew the least grenade-looking grenade in his arsenal: A localized EMP emitter. This baby could fry any electronics within a one-meter radius of its destination the moment it detonated while leaving organics unharmed. See if they could drive that car of theirs out with its spark plugs fried. Now there was only one problem: The phaser was standing right between him and the car. And coming his way.Ever calm under fire, Ultionis' mind ran through a list of plans and rejected most of them out of hand. That was the problem with phasers. He could face one if he knew ahead of time he would, but caught off-guard there was very little in his arsenal that could hurt a man who wasn't there. But that sword... Ultionis was no expert on swords, but he knew about swinging heavy objects around. That blade looked like it was positioned to head left-to-right exactly, around neck level. Simple plan, but effective, and with his phasing powers he would be almost completely immune to return fire, so no need to worry about his defenses. But it wouldn't be too hard to duck under its swing...It was a desperate plan, to be sure. Anything that involved getting closer to that weapon was desperate by definition. But this situation qualified under the header of 'desperate times' quite well, so he stood up, looking as if he hoped to fire his gun at the exact moment the blade went tangible... then ducked again at the last split-second. As it flew over his head, he fired three rounds directly upward into the phaser's stomach, then immediately lunged forward. The way he saw it, either the bullets - and he - would simply pass right through, or else he would charge straight into a bullet-riddled, soon-to-be corpse. Either way, he found he wasn't complaining. And if he made it through, the grenade was already set. All that was left was to pull the pin, toss it at the car and get ready to fire on the villains inside.(H-D)NPC: Carapace considered this. "A valid possibility," he said after a moment, "but unlikely. The Jodrell Bank center has everything needed to direct an orbital weapon effectively, such as the UN believes her supposed weapon to be. It is in contact with numerous satellites at any given time, making it difficult to pinpoint one transmission without sifting through them all. In any case, it is at present the only lead we have. However, with that in mind, I suggest you conduct your business there quickly as well as thoroughly. If she is gone, we want to have as much time left as possible. "Now, on the matter of your companions, I suggest you spend some time learning about them - their abilities and tactics, primarily, but also any skills that may come into play at the center. It will help me construct their aliases more effectively. Oh, and please inform Mr. Airey that he is now a member of an international think tank looking into the possibility of privatized spaceflight within the next twenty to thirty years. His job is to mind the business angle, observe costs and markets, while others handle the matter of science. At least for the next few hours. His identity is more or less public knowledge anyway, he won't be too surprised you know."{H-D}

IC: "Understood," said Gadgeteer. He yanked his right hand away from the plane's control panel - waiting a moment just in case this somehow disrupted its systems - then stood up, turning towards the cockpit door. He couldn't help noticing that the aircraft was travelling much faster than would normally be allowed for a public vehicle, nor was it sticking to any official air traffic lanes. Obviously Carapace had set them on a more direct route. This was no League Jet, but at their current speed and trajectory Gadgeteer guessed that they should arrive in England within a couple hours. That would give them ample time to deal with Lady Hexas... provided she was something they could feasibly deal with. No. He wasn't going to go there. That was a pointless train of thought. He opened the door and marched back into the passenger cabin, his armour clanking softly. The others had taken seats and were sitting quietly. Gadgeteer wasn't exactly a social sort, but he knew the value of getting to know your teammates before a mission. In an attempt to break the ice he leaned into the stewardess' cupboard as he passed it - it had been stocked with fresh food and drinks, which he clustered onto a trolley and rolled down the aisle, leaving it in the rough middle of his three companions."Eat," he ordered. He wanted them to have plenty of energy - they were going up against a supervillain with a killsat, it was reasonable to expect that there might be some battles on the horizon...

OOC: Yeah. The plane can land whenever, but it'd be nice if our characters chewed the fat for a while, let the other players catch up.IC: Gadgeteer took a pair of sandwiches wrapped in clingfilm from the trolley. He slowly unfurled them as he spoke."I have done further investigating and obtained floor plans of the Jodrell Bank Observatory. Its staff have not currently raised any sort of alarm, so it is likely that Lady Hexas is secretly holding them hostage. The four of us are going to approach the facility in disguise - or at the very least, with our 'uniforms' obscured - and present ourselves with false aliases in order to gain entry into the facility." The jaw of his facemask swung downwards, revealing a heavily-bearded mouth. It took a bite of a sandwich before continuing. "Once we are inside we will assess the situation, and confront Lady Hexas when it is appropriate. However, our priority is going to be disabling her weaponized satellite - there is no use capturing her if it destroys a city because of an automated countdown..."

OCC: alright then.IC: "good.a plan is going to be needed for an assault like this.so what will are disguises be?or do you need info on us to make an approtie one?"

War...war never changes.

We crawl, on our knees for you,
under, a sky no longer blue,
we sweat, all day long for you.

But we sow, seeds to see us though,

we wait, to reap what we are due.

OOC: This looks rather interesting. Can any evil doers gimme an update on what the current situation(s) is/are?Real Name: Bobby TablesAlias: ExemplarAppearance: Civvies- Bobby wears a pair of torn jeans most of the time, cut short at the ankles so he is less encombered from his favorite recreational activity: Parkour. He wears athletic shoes and either a black T-shirt, hoodie, or jacket depending on the weather. His hair is a blonde crewcut and he has bright green eyes and fair skin.Super Sexy Outfit- When chosing to be a do-no-gooder, Exemplar wears a very simple black outfit that coveres his entire body from head to toe. The fabric is akin to black latex but only in appearence. It is quite breathable and allows him to move unencombered. There is an oddly flat 'bump' at the mouth of the otherwise plain suit that scrambles his voice when he speaks. This prevents anything but his vague body type from being recognizable.Power: Cloning-Exemplar can create a limitless number of clones of himself or any humanoid object. The clones lose no 'substance' for the first five but as he makes more the clones begin to gradually get weaker. Five clones plus Exemplar would be like six people. A thousand clones, however, could be taken out by a pack of girlscouts. The clones are limited to Exemplar's knowledge and cannot mimic any non-physical attributes, such as auras or spirits.Allegiance: CoalitionArea: IrelandBio: Bobby isn't so much 'evil' as just a troublemaker. When the Coalition first made a presence in his hometown- just a couple of them passing through- he saw it as a fun chance to show off and he did the equivalent of sign up. It took some time, but he proved himself to the Coalition as a skillful, resourceful, loyal and rather playfully annoying agent. He was officially inducted only recently and is eager to go do some real missions.

OOC: I just mean like they're easier to break. One clone will almost have to be killed to be gotten rid of, but one of a thousand will just need half-fast punch to the knee to make them vanish.Chronicler of Ko-Koro? I saw him in the online list. I commented on his profile cuz I loved his avatar <3

OOC: I've seen him around too, here and there, but he never seems to come and post. Been wondering about that. Think maybe someone should PM him?On a brighter note, welcome to the RPG, Wan! I'm not sure where a villain could get in on the action right now. There was a thing at the League mansion, but that's just wrapping up now, so I don't know why I just mentioned it... Maybe have him compete in Superbeing Smackdown? That's like a tournament the bad guys seem to be hosting, right now it's just fights between NPCs and a couple of undercover heroes infiltrating it as contestants, but it's all I can think of at the moment.H-D

OOC: CoKK did mention last time he posted here that he'd been busy lately. The dreaded Real Life probably has something to do with it. I expect he has time to read, just not to post.EDIT: Wait, no he didn't. Hm. I'll PM him.

OOC: Oooh, that sounds perfect. Thanks Half-Dragon =DTo anyone- good or bad- at the tournament thingy, I'll be there so feel free to scoop me up in some form of interaction ^.^;IC:Bobby absolutely loved his black one-piece bodysuit that heralded in his false persona of Exemplar, the master criminal extrordinare! Well, not really, but it was a great way to pick up cute sidekicks. There were plenty of sidekicks present for the tournament also. Few of them would likely compete, but Bobby didn't really want the fighters anyway.Snapping his fingers, two more Exemplar's appeared, one flanking him on either side. The trio was able to more easily wedge its way through the thick crowds of fighters, wanna-be villains, and spectators as he searched for someone he knew.

OOC: The tourney thing presently going on is about 99.9% criminals, with two good people, and it's part of a rather specific plot. Might not be the best place to start out, but it might work out, I dunno.IC(Whistler): The Whistler had ended up with a single corned-beef sandwich, and took small bites from it as he considered the situation."There's no question that a cover will be necessary, but what, if you don't mind me asking, is our plan on that front? Somehow I doubt those who require fooling would go for a pair of Groucho glasses."

Dieter Geist, Grau/Mansion Holding Aquarius, Helping the EscapeIC:

One thing that Grau found odd was that heroes almost always assumed he didn't have full control of his power. But he did. He could change his body at will, a few atoms to the whole thing. This transferred to his sword, having trained with it until it was an extension of his body. Thus, the moment he missed, he changed it back so it would be far lighter and easier to manuever. From there, he spun on his heel - still intangible - and brought the sword down to attempt cleaving the EMP grenade and the hand that held it in twain.

This is a signature that describes me as a person. Lazy, dry, and overall just a procra...

OOC: Here's the rundown on the tournament, Wan: it's called Superbeing Smackdown! and taking place in a hidden bunker under the Arizonan desert, a bunker that is big enough to contain a lobby and several arenas. It is an illegal tournament, being broadcast across America on several secret channels, and thus only villains know about it/are allowed to enter. The grand prize is $100,000, but the winner of the last tournament, a very powerful psychic mutant called Mastermind (pic here), has offered to give an extra $50,000 to anyone who can best him in battle. The current tournament is team-based, but Mastermind has entered solo, which should give you an idea of how strong/arrogant he is.In addition my character Sluice (registered by the name 'Whirlpool'), and Beardy Spoon's character Fellwyd, have entered pretending to be villains. They are currently in the middle of a fight, but if you want to fight them next let me know.IC: "The only one of us whose facial features run the risk of recognition is you, Mr. Airey, but fortunately your civilian activities will lend credence to our cover. For the duration of this mission you are going to be a recently-registered member of an international think-tank, looking into the possibility of privatized spaceflight within the next twenty to thirty years. Your visit to Jodrell Bank will be to decide upon whether you wish to invest in the company's research." Gadgeteer took another bite, mulling on how their roles would fall into place, and after a moment he spoke again. "I will be posing as your astrophysicist aide. N-Ber, for the moment I am thinking that you will also play the role of an astrophysicist advisor, but I am still working on formulating our aliases so that may change. Lone, you will pose as Mr. Airey's bodyguard - you will not have to remove your armour then. As for disguises, items of clothing such as laboratory coats and uniforms are simple enough to obtain. When we land we will go shopping..."

OOC: Lol at the Mewtwo psychic Mastermind.Thank you for the rundown Kumata <3 Exemplar could enter alone and still be a team of 2 to 5 ^.^ I think I would certainly be interested in trying to fight someone.IC: [Exemplar at Superbeing Smackdown]Bobby really wasn't the patient sort of person. He liked to keep moving and go with the flow. Right now the flow involved standing around watching a group of people fighting. That was boring. Bobby wanted to be in the ring. He wanted to fight! He wondered if starting a fight out in the audience would be a bad idea and decided that it would; he could only hold his own against one or two people at any given time. If he ###### off too many people he was likely to get his rear handed to him on a sterling silver platter. That did not appeal to him. When in doubt: Climb. That was more or less his motto in life. Experienced at parkour and various forms of urban crawling, Bobby loved to climb around new areas. Being in this subterranean arena for the first time, there were ample places for him to climb. Bobby led his two other selves back through the crowd towards the outer wall of the large chamber they were in to find something upon which to grab a hold and start his ascension.

IC(Whistler): "Well, in that case, I'll have to make a quick change of clothes, so I look more the part of a businessman." Fortunately, Mr. Airey kept a spare business suit on him at all times, to make the transition back to his work-clothes a little bit easier. He quickly went off to the lavatory to change, leaving a half-eaten sandwich behind.

IC: "good. it would of proven tricky to have me take my 'armor' off, for reasons i'll keep to my self." a bodyguard wouldn't be that hard to pull of. i just have to stay quiet. not hard at all." that was what was going through lone's head as he was talking to the others, and hoping they wouldn't ask about the armor.

IC: "Does that armour augment your strength?" Asked Gadgeteer of Lone. "I was thinking that my own armour could be disassembled and put into briefcases. When the time comes for action, it will be at hand for me to wear. You would of course carry the briefcases in the meantime." The idea of embarking on the next step of the mission sans armour made Viktor apprehensive - he would especially have liked not for any of his teammates to see his face - but it was also the easiest option by far. Having spent so many years operating inside an armoured battle suit, it felt almost like a part of him now. He would feel naked without it.Finishing his sandwich, he began rifling through the trolley for more food...
