HERO Factory

I'm surprised the HF universe didn't end up in a situation where the HF went unchecked and starting producing increasingly dangerous and insane 'Heroes' who, instead of protecting, destroyed everything out of a misguided notion of being heroic due the fact that villains exist, and with some absolutely brilliant AI logic, that means existing must mean you are a villain. Skull Scorpio

Managed to pick up Skull Scorpio at a discount.   I know I mock this set every now and then but the stinger is more FUN than you'd expect. Though I'm not sure I've ever seen scorpions with stingers like that. It didn't even inject venom into me.   One good thing about the set: the torso is constructed nicely. The tail and legs make everything fall apart though, but the legs are actually quite easy to improve. Tail, not so much, but at least it's fun.   CCBS really needs an equivalent to the Y-

Midak Skyblaster, Post-Game Entry

Well, that ended up being a bit more of a mess than I intended. There were sixteen players. They did not need a total of 48 blasts of light. 32 of those would go unused, maybe one or two more. G&T Game Idea

I've got an idea for a G&T game.   First thought about a 'Free-for-all' Mafia, but that would be chaos, plus it's already been done.   Then thought about an idea that spun off of that one, except with zamors if you remembered what they did in 2006. What We've Discovered About Ekimu

We have discovered that Ekimu is an Evil Vampire. Ekimu's name starts with E, and has an i. This is shared with the word 'Evil'. Ekimu's name has an e, m, and i. Remember on the old forums that you could put a short description below a title, instead of tags?   I kind of miss that, even though I don't start topics much.   Also, kinda wondering, why some parts of the Star Wars EU excluded from being made non-canon? These new SW CCBS sets are HUGE. Well, Darth Vader is, anyway.   On the plus side, we finally see the longest CCBS bone make a reappearance, the first since Black Phantom, I think. Also surprised to learn that the lower leg 'add-on' is a shell, not an add-on. I guess it works for the longer bones better than the usual shells, though. Not sure what's up with the gunmetal when some of the pieces are already in the set in black. Armour pieces on the sides are a bit of an illegal connection since t

Missing the point.

Just saw a comment lamenting the fact that BIONICLE waves 'no longer' introduce a ton of new pieces.   I'm sorry, did you miss the entire second half of G1 BIONICLE?!   Furthermore, when LEGO is a creative building toy, creating a ton of overspecialised pieces every wave generally doesn't look very good. Also, I can't imagine how much of the budget would've been wasted on new pieces in the years 2001-2006. Creating new pieces instead of using old pieces in new ways is kinda missing the point.

BRILLIANT IDEA

The next BONKLE vehicle set should be a segway which transforms into a giant 2-handed hammer for its driverwielder.   Also, it should be made of Inika torsos. SW CCBS, AND A QUESTION!

Wow. It's really popular. Three out of six sets are already sold out according to LEGO, and it's only been two weeks. Grievous is one of them, and that's the most expensive set of the wave.   That didn't happen to BIONICLE G2.   I do have to wonder, though - in the past year we've gained three new shell attachments, which, as far as I am aware, is more than 2013+2014 combined. Skull Basher

Its bashing function is a bit... wonky. Not as well done as Dragon Bolt's wings, which are done in a similar manner.   Not to mention the axes often collide with either each other or Skull Basher's horns quite a bit. It's not really a bashing function. More like 'Skull Clapper', if you ask me.   Still, Skull Basher pulls off transparent purple + solid purple + transparent orange + gunmetal really well. Purple goes surprisingly well with transparent orange - way better than most other colours IM
