BIONICLE 3: Web of Shadows

No wonder Roodaka suffers from chronic backstabbing disorder.   Vakama apparently decides that because of some really weird reasons and logic, that he can't betray Roodaka because he's apparently enslaved(?? how were you enslaved to her you voluntary betrayed your team) to her..   Web of Shadows always confused me. It has a really, really, really weird and weak plot. Plus, Vakama at the beginning is a totally different character to the Vakama at the end of LoMN and even later in Web of Shadows.

Enraging

Barring the obvious things that animals need that humans don't, if you wouldn't do something to human, don't do it to an animal. Just because you find the reaction of the animal funny or cute does not mean they like it happening or that it is okay to do.

Issues Resolved

After a week of of a fairly unstable and unreliable connection, I finally have a stable connection to the internet again. Connectivity Issues

I'm having extreme difficulty with internet connectivity right now - switched to a different ISP. ISP said they'd 'connect' us between 08:00-13:00... yesterday. Phoned them up, and now they say they're going to connect us on the 9th, this Wednesday.   Now I'm posting this entry via wi-fi, which, while it is a pretty bad connection, is still a connection.   The stupid thing? Acquired Pohatu + Ketar.   Let's start with Ketar.   Ketar is... Ketar. A bit awkward constructed, if anything. Especially compared to the other creatures. Its back does not look pretty, which is bad since that's what you see from the sides and from the top. I don't understand why the glatorian necks that hold the arms have the axles of the gear pieces poking out through them. G2 Story Prediction

Ekimu will die at the end of the year to defeat Umarak, leaving the masks of Creation and Control out in the open. G2Tahu & Ikir

Acquired Tahu and Ikir.   Let's start with Ikir:   Mostly looks good. Mostly. The talons on the feet are nice, able to wrap around a finger tightly. The way the wings attach, however, looks horribly awkward. (Terak has the same problem, but it's hidden well) The tail flaps the wings in a mechanism that's exactly the same as Uxar using different pieces, and the tail itself looks decent... when down. Some Stupid Speculation

Here is some absolutely stupid speculation about this year's first wave of sets.   First off, let's start with the Melum speculation. Melum's name is Melum. This is similar to 'Malum', which I think means bad in latin? Additionally, Melum shares the letters 'M', 'E', and 'U' with Metus, a character from 2009. Metus was a traitor. As as result of the above, we can guess that Melum is a bad guy and a traitor, thus explaining why Melum has no trap like the other creatures. Melum is a traitor!

Generation 2: Umarak, Onua, Lewa, Terak and Uxar

Got some sets, time for my thoughts.   Umarak: Umarak is tall. Probably the tallest BIONICLE set since Toa Mata Nui. Probably. I'm not actually sure. But he's definitely the tallest in a long while. Bow connects a little weirdly on the right hand, though. Makes it a bit awkward to pose. Also, the trap halves on his shoulders get in the way of 'UNITE' mode with other creatures.
