  1. Yet another creative MOC. I like the use of that round.. trans-neon green... thing... On his Ore Fist's palm.Needless to say, you've attracted my attention and interest. And I may just get my BIONICLE sets out of storage and create some MOCs out of them... I've been planning this for YEARS...
  2. These are some pretty well- built MOCs you've got there! I like how they're all very posable compared to the real BIONICLE sets (and mostly all Toa). Kerev seems to be a favorite of mine, with his blades and general agile look, and I think Ormont's present situation (being stuck as a robot) is very creative. Will we ever see an original form?Keep up the great work there.
  3. OK... I kind of guessed it was from Backlot.I never played it, to be honest... Never could get it to work back in the day.
  4. Er... it looks to be the Alien Conquest replacement, actually, in terms of general theme. The only correlation with Monster Fighters that I see was the comic in the Lego Club Magazine, in which Lord Vampyre's evil plan (which is still laughable) culminated with the summoning of the bug aliens. I see that less as a story tie-in and more as a forced means of getting a preview out. It's like attracting insects to a bright light, is it not? C'mon. I can't be the only one who made this connection.
  5. Oh... Sure, I'll take a stab at these questions:1. When was your favourite point during your stay on BZP?Well, I think it was when there were a bunch of comics and stuff being made, way back in the day (before I became a member!). I don't quite remember any of them anymore, but I know there was something to do with some "Turaga of Light", as well as something called "Vahk's Comics". Anyone else remember these?2. How long have you been a member of BZP?I've been a member since Summer of '09. But I've been lurking these forums since 2004, if memory serves me right. I thought you had to pay for a membership here, so that's why I never had an account until 2009. Derp.3. Should that previous question have been the first question?Hey, it's your survey. Do what you please. 4. Have you had any long disapperances from BZP? If so, why?Well, there was the "Dark Ages" where I had no access to computers (before I became a member), and then again after BZP was offline and migrating to a better site. I just lost interest and just came back this week!5. Are you as interested in BZP as you used to be?More or less. It depends on whether or not this community is anywhere near as active as I remember it, way back when.6. Do you feel that BZP is slowly losing its members, or that BZP generally has less activity? This kind of connects my last answer. I've only been back for a few days, and I plan on making a thread to ask roughly how many people are still active on BZP, but if I had to answer now, I'd say... Yes. BZP seems to have less active members and less activity lately.7. If Bionicle had not been replaced, do you think that BZP would always remain strong as long as Bionicle was ‘updated‘‘ on a regular basis?I don't quite get what you mean by "updated". Do you mean the story, or a "reboot" of the sets? I think either way, as long as news of BIONICLE gets out to the younger kids, we'll never lose strength in the community.8. Have I asked enough questions yet?I dunno, Have you??9. Do you want a hug?I dunno; do YOU?
  6. O_O From what plane of reality did you pull THAT image from?
  7. The Great beings didn't have had control over the universe, just like how the LEGO designers had no control over the BIONICLE Fandom.
  8. LEGO My Little Pony: Friendship is MagicLEGO Doctor Who. It has to be done. A whole Minifigures series devoted to the Good Doctor and some choice other characters (Daleks, Cybermen, Captain Jack Weeping Angels, etc.). Then again ,THAT would be a little optimistic. There could be a TARDIS set (interior and a separate exterior model!), and choice scenes from the show's 49-year history.
  9. I dunno... Chima seems meh, but I'll check it out. It can't be as bad as I think it is. But...I feel as if this Chima theme is a sell-out... Oh, well; I guess I'll have to wait and see if my assumptions are true!
  10. Man, some of those sets are dirt-cheap! Makes me wish I had a little extra cash to burn... (and those 2009 vehicles look interesting).Although... I DO have a Quest For The Masks Starter Deck (Gali and Pohatu) which I snagged from a Toys 'R' Us a couple years ago for $5 (and in mint condition, no less!). If you're interested, maybe we can arrange something... PM me if you're interested. Of course, I'll have to check my storage and see if I still have it.Let me know if you're interested.
  11. Well, there WAS this one epic I had written on paper... Based off of a comic a friend and I made, and I just extended it into an epic. It's called BIO-STATE. Basically, it's an alternate timeline from 2006-2008 which involves all sorts of crazy plot changes (Like Vezon being blasted in two with this thing I called the BFG 9000). After '06, it mainly follows the main BIONICLE plot, except there were some beings from another realm who would intervene in some events... I don't quite remember at the moment.Since I started writing this back in '06, I was fairly young, and most of the plot devices were extremely childish (The BFG 9000 being one of them). On top of that, the plot ended in some place called the "Bio-State", which was where all the anomalies in the BIONICLE Universe (in my story, at least) were coming from. It also resulted in Teridax trying to take over the Bio-State and ultimately failing. Yeah, I came up with this before BIONICLE's "End" in 2010.Other than that, I have a couple of non-BIO fics that have fallen into the black hole of writer's block, but they ARE on the internet... somewhere...
  12. Challenge Accepted... (Then again, with my track-record of incomplete stories, this may NEVER happen.)@Chro: It could be a comedy. Would that work?@Stan: It's simple: Teamwork.Consider it done, then. Shadow, if you're implying that you'd like to help bring this DW/BIONICLE fic to life, PM me. I may have some ideas up my sleeve...And yes. It WILL be a comedy.
  13. Loving the dust on the Ta-Matoran! Reminds me of my BIONICLE collection. Also, I like the design for the Artahkan. looks really fluid for a small set.
  14. I just want to point out my track record:I have two stories I'm "Working on" (and by "working on", I mean "I started it and now I have NO IDEA when I'll continue it"), one being based off of LEGO Island and loosely on the rest of the LEGO Metaverse, and the other... Well... Let's just say it has something to do with anamorphic equines and an insane godlike character voiced by John de Lancie (who also did Q from Star Trek). So yeah... this story may never see the light of day.
  15. Dude. That just made my night! I'm guessing only the Doctor would know how to control its power, though? Probably a Toa of Time or something, known only as the Doctor, combatting the genocidal Dalek-Kal (which shout EXTERMINATE) and the evil Makuta called the Master...Please nobody write a story about that, it'd be awful.Challenge Accepted... (Then again, with my track-record of incomplete stories, this may NEVER happen.)
  16. Well, a completely different concept in a reboot/continuation of BIONICLE is better than no BIONICLE.I don't even care if the sets use the same building system as Hero Factory. That's just a natural progression. It's like complaining about LEGO Galaxy Squad because it doesn't have "that blue spaceship with the yellow windows and generic spacemen!" (a Classic Space set, for the uninformed). You can't go back to the way things were (With a sigh of relief to the fragile joints that came out in 2008... *shudder*) and still gain a new audience. For the next generation, it would be a step back and it would be boring for them. You must remember that a company will only bring back something if the target audience (THE KIDS) will be interested. The fanboys (US) are rarely considered. But I digress. Because of this, BIONICLE will be more like HF in it's possible reboot/continuation, but at least we get BIONICLE, eh?
  17. I'd be more worried about fusing the Mask of Transdimensional Gates, the Mask of Time, and the Mask of Creation to create some sort of infinite-powered mask of travelling anywhere, anytime (Mask of Creation used as a power source): The Kanohi TARDIS.
  18. And of course, Jamesster contributes the most in this thread, defending his titleas the "Ultimate LEGO Nerd".And I'm glad that the humans don't have just one color scheme for this theme.
  19. Actually, I just came back.Aside from not being allowed to link to your own website if it has forums on it, I decided to come back for the nostalgia. I had a season of my life where I didn't care about BIONICLE. It was only until recently that I decided to come back. That, and for the little post count perks. Gives you something to work for.
  20. Completely off-Canon, but I thought I'd bring it up anyway:To me, the Bohrok remind me of the Daleks from Doctor Who (the things in the spoiler there). I mean, Daleks are mostly mechanical, with a tiny organic thing controlling them (much like the Krana), they come in different flavors varieties and colors, and they destroy anything that gets in their way. ("EX-TER-MIN-ATE!!!")Only difference being that Bohrok are more of a hive-mind, whereas Daleks are capable of independent thought. So really, the Daleks are more like the Bohrok-Kal than the main Bohrok. But still, it's worth noting. Now I'm going to always think of the Kal voices as Daleks. EX-TER-MIN-ATE!
  21. Nice pieces... Glad to see a more Space-y Space theme (unlike Alien Conquest, which was more earthbound). Reminds me a bit of Insectoids.I'll definitely be asking for some of these VERY soon.
  22. Look, I'm not trying to put Chase down. I just find it curious.I would say "Pics or it didn't happen", but we do have pictures. And when I searched up "Platinum Avolkii", nothing came up. Maybe Chase should take another picture and have a little nametag he wrote. You know, so that we have 100% proof that this is legit.
  23. I, for some reason, don't quite believe this. I mean, this is something bigger than the 24K Golden Haus and the White Hunas put together. And it's almost certain that our friend Chase would have known about this site and posted in it a long time ago. He even has a three-year Avolkii (I believe you get it after three years, correct me if I'm wrong). So did Chase just stick the Holy Grail of BIONICLE in a closet or Storage locker in California for ten years and suddenly remember that he had it after seeing this thread? (Google is a wonder when you look up "Platinum Avolkii") I mean, that seems to be the only explanation.I dunno. What took you so long in coming out and telling us that you have such a relic, Chase? "What... Did you sayyy???"I believe that's pronounced Sméagol. Just saying. One Mask to rule them all and all that.
  24. Man, I WANT!That is a brilliant remake of GLaDOS in LEGO. I wish I had the pieces to build this...BTW, the links are broken.
  25. You've got to be kidding me.[/Zelda]Those giant *real* monsters look "really bad" next to little farting toilet monsters? Well, well, well. If it isn't Lair of Rockwhales. I didn't know you had a BZP account! (I knew jamesster had an account.) I knew that some members on RRU would be here on a topic like this. :PAnyways, I thought that Rock Raiders was a really great theme. Other than it ending after a couple years, without a clear ending (no big surprise here... It's like LEGO's trademark.), and the game tends to crash without notice (Or just simply NOT WORK in my case), it was great.Power Miners never came close to Rock Raiders.
