  1. They have a bunch of emoticons that are either new, or just have been gathering dust since the site took off. =P Could always use one of the little skulls you made and put that jester hat on it and use it as a sign-off or something. That would look pretty cool. ^^
  2. Since the title of the topic makes this out to be more of a question towards staff than a discussion topic, I'll explain what I mean with a few questions towards members to toss ideas around about the perks and unavailable perks that regular membership has and what $20-$60 can buy premier membership -wise. Anybody can answer - this is not exclusive to regular members. Q1: Are you comfortable with the current perks that are available for regular members?Given the fact I don't see any necessity for blogs, poll-making, or other such perks given to premier members, I'm quite comfortable with the current arrangement and feel that there isn't a lot to improve upon. Members are given the ability to post, comment, PM people, et cetera, and those are all the privileges a member should ever need.Q2: Should certain benefits given to members in Premier Membership be bestowed upon regular members? And if so, which benefits? The only perk that doesn't make all that much of a difference in Premier Membership that I think could be given to the Members group would be the ability to see images representing your current post count (Submerged!, Encountering Protodermis, and other such post count 'titles'). I think the storage of messages could be expanded a bit, although perhaps that could be just kept as a perk for the premier members.Q3: Since the price of the Premier Membership has increased, is it still worth it for any of the versions of it (6-month, 1-year, Lifetime)?Honestly speaking, no. I saw the original price setting as touching expensive for Lifetime membership, but now it's overpriced. I don't see any reason why it needed to be upped so severely in price, but perhaps there were reasons that all of us on the site aren't aware of for the increase.Q4: Do you think the current price for any of its versions is worth it for a blog and few other benefits?Heh, heh - no.Q5: If you are a regular member, do you plan on buying Premier Membership? If you are a premier member but didn't buy Lifetime membership, do you plan on buying it again? No. It isn't worth it - at the current price it is for any of the time periods you can have it for, I'd prefer to go buy something else I could actually have a chance of keeping for a lifetime. Harsh words though they may be, you could call what I am being is brutally honest, or stating my opinion boldly. You take your pick.If this is not suited for General Discussion or any part of the forums, the staff are welcome to close it. If this option isn't needed, then I'd love to see some serious, open, and diverse discussion be seen here. You don't have to stick to the questions - toss ideas around if you want. Just stick to the topic at hand.
  3. Wait patiently for someone to reply to a story I might have just posted, and because that takes a few thousand years, I watch some Happy Days.

    The Hippopotamus Pool

Maybe it has changed...last time I went, it wasn't all that exciting, from what I remember. But then again, that was eight or nine years ago, so how could I possibly remember things from that long ago? MGM was okay, the one thing I liked about it was the Indiana Jones Movie Stunt show they had, never went on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, so I can't tell you what that will be like if you go on it. The Great Movie Ride was pretty fun as well. I think the trip to that park was ruined for me because of the trouble with one of the people working there, who had obviously had a bad day and decided to cause trouble with people coming into the park. Really irritating process to get her to actually let my family and I in the park... >_<
  5. Another suggestion I must agree with was Taipu1's suggestion of Gold Mata masks, with the exception being the Hau because it was the 9th year spinny if I'm not mistaken. I would like to see a Gold Miru or a Teal Miru next.
  6. Good luck! I'm tempted to enter, but I don't think I will. Good luck and hope you make it to the top three! =D
  7. Personally I don't think this is relevant to the discussion of the topic, but if I may say, something with lyrics just doesn't seem like it'd fit with the story. Something with plenty of classical instruments (for instance, violins, cellos, et cetera) that can make a dramatic, hard-hitting sound would fit more perfectly, in my opinion. I can see a fan-made theme song for BIONICLE being a great idea, but it depends on how you go about it. I just don't see modern music or anything with lyrics seeming to fit BIONICLE's theme, but I guess it's just a difference of opinion. Cryoshell.Excuse me? I recognize the band, although I haven't heard any of their music. Being averse to modern music, I don't tend to listen to Cryoshell, Linkin Park, or any other modern bands. I'm a fan of classic rock because, simply put, it's classic and it rocks.
  8. Taka has a jester hat! =D Cute sketch...I remember you actually posted pictures of the hat from way back when, can't remember if it was in your blog or something else. Pretty cool hat. ^^
  9. I'm very tempted to join this, I'm thinking about it. I'm writing the BIONICLE theme into a story anyway, just for the sake of writing, and in case I do join, I'll have a story at the very least. =P Still, this is a great idea, guys, and I hope everyone has fun - happy writing! ^^
  10. Test Track is the one awesome ride at Epcot, as well as Journey Into The Imagination. I recall last time I went to Disney (last year; I hadn't been 8-9 years previous to that) I went to Epcot once, or twice, can't recall. Universe of Energy (if that is it, I can't remember the name) was pretty good, also liked aforementioned rides. I never ate at any of the restaurants there, although picked up pastries from the bakery in France. I preferred the Main Street Bakery, though, although it was still good food.
  11. [*]Poisoned Hau Nuva[*]UDD SymbolNot a lot, but a few suggestions. Any of the Nuva masks wouldn't be a bad idea, honestly.

  13. I think it would be interesting, and I'd love to see it, but my one complaint would be it would be made out to be a stereotypical 'Let's go have a tea party after we fight these Bohrok!' type of team, or at least it would be made out that way by some male fans.Still, I believe this is a highly-discussed subject, and my basic line on it is, that each element should have both masculine and feminine genders. Although the audience preference is directed at young boys, that doesn't mean there can't be a larger percentage of female Toa, honestly.
  14. Although I don't have a huge interest in them, it's an interesting line of figures and sets they've released. The Avengers sets do seem accurate to their movie counterparts, though - the Hulk needed to have dark-green instead of lime-green set-wise, but I could be wrong.
  15. People have a little bit too much time on their hands. =P Nonetheless, I suppose that's one of those records that is amazing when broken. Was it said how long it took to build?
  16. Hmmm...they seem like pretty interesting sets. I'm not necessarily interested in them, although they are quite nice. I agree with Kalhiki - indeed, the hearse does look pretty cool.
  17. No, I believe it's past the revival limit.
  18. Not to crash your party or break the 'rule' you've set here, but this belongs in Completely Off Topic. It's already been reported - it should be moved to CoT momentarily.
  19. No. You don't need a counselor - there's nothing wrong with you. It's human nature to envy others. To hate them...even if that hate shouldn't be there, it is normal because you are jealous you aren't in as high a place as they are. So what? You don't need to be like them - make something of yourself that isn't like them, for that would be special. Trust me, you don't need a counselor. What you have is a simple inferiority complex. You feel lower than your friends - I've felt the same way with my siblings, because I feel they've achieved higher things than me, that they're better because one of them is writing a novel and the other one is special because he plays guitar better than I ever have. What I thought was, so what? I'm better at some things they can't do. And I'm certain there are things you've done that can match up to your friends achievements. For instance, you seem like you're a skilled writer - be proud of it. Like I commented in your last entry, don't sell yourself short. You'll accomplish things in life that are better than them. What's important is that you're happy with what you do, and you're proud of your accomplishments. And even if you aren't, push yourself to a point you are happy. Reach for higher goals if you want to. Just don't give up so easily on trying to accomplish goals in life - if you set your mind to it, you can do anything. Remember that.
  20. Hey, don't feel too bad. All of us feel lonely and unloved at one point in our life. Think of your family members...your parents. They're proud of you and love you, do they not? Think of the impact your life has made on theirs. The way people draw themselves into a depression is because they sell themselves short and think they are friend-less, but they have more friends than they might even know. I always thought I was a terrible writer, not good at art, bad at ballet...but encouraging words were what made me feel better about myself. People I know proved me I was better than what I thought I was, and although I disagreed with them, I started to develop a better idea of what I was, although not gaining a huge ego. Nonetheless, don't sell yourself short. You shouldn't think you shouldn't have been born - think of Jimmy Stewart in It's A Wonderful Life. Sure, it's a bit of a sappy movie, but look at what happened to him in the end: He realized that he really did make a difference in people's lives. Perhaps my point is wrong, but just think of it that way, and you'll realize you're thinking wrong. You have touched people's lives, you have accomplished things in life, you do have friends, and you should feel you are loved. Remember that your family loves you, and that's most important of all.
  21. Looks pretty. ^^ Trees are usually pretty fun to draw, since you can add a lot of detail and whatnot to it.
  22. Magic Kingdom. If you go at night, go for Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain Railroad while the fireworks are going off, because both will be empty, and you get an awesome view of the fireworks at TMR. Plus, you can go about four times if you rush through the waiting lines really fast. Still, seriously, Animal Kingdom is a waste of time, as well as MGM, as the only two premier attractions at MGM are Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and The Great Movie Ride. Plus, last time, had a big problem with the people working there, so yeah. But Epcot is okay...it's still fun, but I personally think the Magic Kingdom is better.

    Back!

Hi! =D Doesn't seem like much happened on BZP...I've been hanging around mostly. =P
  24. Technically speaking, the more appropriate way to phrase it would be to say we do not choose or feel. Love is the one that chooses for us - we feel what it gives us. We by destiny are given love, and it chooses someone to be our destiny, and vice versa. So, honestly, love chooses for us the person we are destined to be with, and in thanks we should accept that choice. That's my view of it, anyhow, I'm possibly wrong on many levels, but that's how I think of it. What is more difficult to do is to honestly appreciate our spouse. It takes a lot of work to appreciate the person whom you've chosen the spend the rest of your life with, not just love them and care for them. Indeed, caring is important, but we have to learn to appreciate and respect our opposite because of what they do for us. If you can't (more properly, won't) fully appreciate the person you love and don't tell them how you do appreciate them for what they do for you and your lifestyle, then you are not worthy of being loved by that person.
