  1. I prefer the more technology oriented main plot, so far, Spawn. The previous Dissidence was way more different, but as you said, with Castor in it, it's going to be Dissidence. However, can I ask something? If the companies authorized to have Uplinks are only two, and the one is operated by the Metru Nui government, why don't they just choose to shut down the other? Or is there too much to risk?
  2. Perhaps it's better this way; perhaps it's not. I personally believe a LEGO MMO could work, but it needs a different formula than that of LU. I'll just leave it here -- I can't really doom the MMO yet just because of LU's failure to deliver.
  3. Something to keep in mind... if TLG waited five years after the collapse of LEGO Universe to try their hand at another MMOG, then it's entirely possible that the lessons they learned from its failure might no longer be applicable. Why wait and risk that valuable experience going to waste? I hear a lot of people surprised that TLG is trying this again so soon, but I've heard no logical reasons why they should wait. Unless, of course, they decided that LEGO Universe's failure was no fault of their own and the time just wasn't right for a LEGO MMOG. Personally, I'm glad they're willing to take responsibility for its failure rather than settle for such a shallow excuse. It should also be considered that just because it's being announced now doesn't mean it will actually be happening anytime soon. LEGO announced their partnership with NetDevil to produce LEGO Universe in March 2007. At that time, the game didn't even have a name. The game was not released until October 2010. Even if TLG is announcing this now, by the time the game is actually released it may have been half a decade or longer since the collapse of LEGO Universe.I'm not much of a gamer, and while the concept of LEGO Universe was nice it wasn't the sort of thing I had the patience for. I doubt this will appeal to me very much either, but here's hoping it's still the same quality we come to expect of LEGO products!Personally, I don't believe LEGO really needs another MMO at this point. I'd be more interested in this project if LEGO retried this in the next decade, as graphical systems would have improved, and the possibility of a LEGO MMO would be more plausible. Wait. How would you know if it works if you don't try again? That's exactly what I assume they're doing: making a new MMO to fix the obvious faults of LU. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. We'll see.LEGO did a bold movement when they introduced LEGO Universe; it was their first attempt at an MMO. I played the Beta since day one, and I didn't really enjoyed it as much as I thought it would. Unless LEGO is willing to step back for a while and plan the new MMO, as they should have done with LU -- not that it wasn't planned, just that in the long-run, it didn't work out that well -- it's going to fail.Sure, trying to produce another MMO isn't all that much a bad idea, but to me, right now, it feels unnecessary. Does LEGO really need this? Or are they just gonna keep trying to push these projects through? I'll be interested if they approach this they way they should have, and more importantly, be cautious. What I meant by "you just don't try until it works", is that, well, what if never works? What if a LEGO MMO just doesn't belong anywhere? But, all things said and done, I can't judge something that was just introduced. We'll have to wait and see.
  4. I'm just glad I purchased lifetime on my first year here.
  5. Another LEGO MMO? Freaking Funcom? Well, there goes my hopes for some Dreamfall Chapters after Secret World. As for LEGO, it's just too early to do another MMO. You did a test run, and you failed. You just don't retry until it works.

I'm fairly certain that means you did more than enough. You gave whoever started this the tools to do it. But "this" needs to go beyond Bzpower. It's too good.
  7. That's a good eye you've got there. I wouldn't have noticed it even with my lenses on.

D: I'm confuzzled. How did these shenanigans start?
  9. I log on once a week, were I just check GD and the Library, but rarely do I post in the latter.

wat is this meme nonsense doing on bzpower
  11. I'm surprised this hasn't happened already. It's tedious for new users to have to post tens times before they are able to access the full site.
  12. Bzpower is sneaky like that.

  14. How do I imagine myself? A random guy that's somehow relevant with everything.
  15. Happy Birthday to both of you guys.
  16. I dunno. I guess I haven't been on at all lately, so that counts as a year of inactiveness.
  17. That's exactly what I always assumed. There's also a bunch of other small details I always assume happened, but never actually did. It's too may to count, but nothing in particular.
  18. Non-human?What do you mean, they are humans? Okay fine, I imagine them as total geeks who literally live off the server.
  19. While I don't post a lot of topics, I usually browse another site. I'm not that keen on getting replies on my topics anyway. Also, lol hi tent. Long time no see.
  20. Yeah, I was also thinking about the Mata Nui Robot's head. Let's just make sure it doesn't look like it's been hit by a moon. Or a chunk of a moon. Or whatever answer they've agreed upon over in S&T.-Ced Funny, I was just actually thinking this when I came across this post. I fully support this. I don't see why we should move on from BIONICLE spinnies -- it's a cool tradition of the forum to keep.
  21. My personal pick is Vakama. And no, it's not because most people have suggested it.
  22. It's nice to have a lot less new members, and a more stable membership. I find it much better to manage the forum this way, and I particularly like the new order of the forums.
