  1. Smaller box sizes? YEEEEEEEESSS! Seems like an odd thing to get excited about, I know, but it always sort of bugged me that the boxes took up a lot more space than they really needed to.
  2. Dude, are you reading the same replies we are? We're not judging you or what you like, we're just trying to figure out what you're talking about. The only answers you've given to questions have been incredibly vague. So far, you've only told us: 1: You think Hasbro is taking ideas from other people. However, you haven't told us any actual examples of this, which makes it somewhat difficult to take your claim seriously. 2: You believe we're judging you for what you like. However, seeing as you haven't even told us any examples of WHAT you like, that idea is not even remotely possible. In addition, the only things we've asked or said have been for clarification on your original post.
  3. don't give Hasbro ideas...seriously, it's the wort thing you can do, seeing as they'll most likely take someone else's idea and reuse it as their own without giving credit, kinda like they've been doing for the past almost-4 years now.... Errmmmm... examples? Because I think that's a pretty ridiculous claim. They've been inspired by the fandom in lots and lots of ways, but as far as I know none of the ideas they've used actually belonged to the fans, and none of them were ideas that could or should be credited to individuals. It'd be like saying that the LEGO Group "stole" the ideas of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Super Heroes because fans happened to make Star Wars and Super Hero MOCs and minifigures before they became official themes. arrogance thy name is America...Excuse me, but arrogance is OUR word, thank you very much. In all seriousness, you're being very vague. If you mean to say they're taking ideas from the fan community, the fact is that the community is so monumentally huge, it would be hard NOT to run across similar ideas while planning out canon. If you mean they're taking ideas from other toy lines, they're likely to be purposefully doing that to match the competition.
  4. It is odd...almost sounds like they might be planning on reviving the line soon... DUN DUN DUUUUUUN In all seriousness, this is kinda weird. I really hope we get more definitive storyline progression at some point.
  5. New comic up! (Note: While Brickshelf is down, new comics will be hosted on imgur. You can access the newest comic by clicking on the link above, or access the album by using the link on the MSPain(T) Comics! website.) Ah, puns. Let me count the ways I love thee... Uh...
  6. New comic up! Welp, time to begin the story arc that'll make everyone hate my guts. WAHOO!
  7. I haven't had a subscription to the LEGO magazine for a while now. However, when I was subscribed, the best part was getting a Bionicle comic with it, and if Bionicle does come back, with comics, it would be somewhat disappointing to not receive them anymore.
  8. Eh, not really. The new pieces are cool, but the overall sets are just...bleh.
  9. Don't believe in yourself, and don't believe in the me that believes in you. Believe in the you that believes in yourself!

      Ghidora131

What if I believe in the me that believes in the you that believes in yourself?

  10. New comic up! On second thought, maybe sticking to the milk is a better idea. Thank you! You inspired me to post I comic I've had finished for over a month but never got around to posting! I'll be back as soon as I think of some more ideas, which hopefully shouldn't take too long.
  11. Granted, but you can't stop running and run straight into a volcano. I wish I had one of every Bionicle set.
  12. Like Skyrim with guns. OR Greg ruining ships. OR The best toyline ever. Take your pick.
  13. This seems like a rather thin lead to grab on to... BUT THAT'S NEVER STOPPED ME BEFORE. CHOO CHOOOOOOOOOOO
  14. ...bzpower started in the 21st century. I know that. I was being facetious.
  15. Good to see BZPower slowly entering the 21st century. This is probably going to lead to a lot of creativity with sigs and what not.
  16. New comic up! Man, I am a serious milkaholic in these comics. Might have something to do with my awkward spriting.
  17. New comic up! My new favorite sprite pose is Tahoni's arm spread in the last panel. So many sarcastic possibilities.
  18. New comic up! I have to admit, I was originally sort of hesitant about this joke due to the subject matter of the buildup, but I think it should be fine.
  19. New comic up! This strip basically shows a caricature of how I was when I first started making comics, right down to the lazy sprite. On the other hand, it also helped me realize Comic Sans is a much more fitting font for comics than the generico font I've been using. Think I should switch? Thanks for the support!
  20. New comic up! Thanks for the support! I'll see if I can do something with the background to make it less glaring, but at this point it has employee seniority. (Since December 2011, in fact.)
  21. Hello, ladies, gentleman, and portly perusers of the world wide web, and welcome, one and all, to... ACTION! ADVENTURE! ROMANCE! NONE OF THESE THINGS AND MORE WILL RISE INTO THE SKIES OF LEGEND AND DRILL TOWARDS A BETTER TOMORROW! FOR TOMORROW IS TACO NIGHT, AND AIN'T NOBODY DARE MESS WITH TACO NIGHT! Yeah so k hi. These comics are a continuation of MSPain(T) Comics!, my longest running, (and probably funniest), comic series. I got bored and ended them. But then I got unbored and rebored a few times, so there were a few very short-lived comic series in between. Now I'm unbored again, so who knows how long this will last! Allon-sy! Comics ----------------------------------------------- Comic 1: If At First You Don't Succeed... Comic 2: Helping, Shmelping Comic 3: Comic Failure Comic 4: Dispose of the Prose Comic 5: All the Lights in the Sky are Stars Comic 6: Special Creativity Comic 7: The Catnip's Outta the Bag Comic 8: Punny, Isn't It? Comic 9: Peaceful Aggressiveness ----------------------------------------------- Public Relations ----------------------------------------------- We need Guest Stars and Permanent Guest Stars, and lots of them! If you don't know how the GS/PGS system works, it goes like this: You send me a chart with your character name, personality, spritesheet and accessories to me in a PM, also detailing whether you want to be a Guest Star or Permanent Guest Star, and I stick you in my comic strip! (In the event you cannot/will not provide a spritesheet, simply give me the details regarding your appearance instead. Keep in mind, if you aren't specific enough, artistic liberties will have to be taken.) 22. 5 is love. 5 is life. Seriously, all the entries are good, but 5 is da best.
  23. The comedy is a parody of the classic song, 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'. (For best results, listen to the song while reading this.) Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------- Makuta went down to Mata Nui, He was lookin' for a body to steal. His plan was in a bind, 'cause it was way behind, He was willing to make a deal. When he came across this young Toa sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot. And Makuta jumped upon a Madu stump and said "Hero, let me tell you what." "I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player, too. And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you. Now you play a pretty good fiddle, hero, but give Makuta his due. I'll bet a fiddle of gold against your soul, 'cause I think I'm better than you." The Toa said, "My name's Lewa, and it might be a sin, But I'll take your bet; and you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best there's ever been." Lewa, rosin up your bow and play your fiddle hard. 'Cause Karzahni's broke loose in Mata Nui and Makuta deals it hard. And if you win, you get this purple fiddle, made of gold, But if you lose, Makuta gets your soul! Makuta opened up his case, and he said, "I'll start this show." And shadow flew from his fingertips, as he rosined up his bow. And he pulled the bow across the strings, And it made an evil hiss. And a band of Manas joined in, And it sounded something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kffacxfA7G4&feature=kp When Makuta finished, Lewa said, "Well, you're pretty bad, ol' son, But sit down in that chair right there and let me show you how it's done." "Lava on the Mountain." Run, Toa, run! Makuta's in the Wahi of the rising sun; Kahu's in the bread pan, picking out dough. Gaaki, does your Moa bite? No, Toa, no. Makuta bowed his head, because he knew that he'd been beat. And he laid that purple fiddle on the ground at Lewa's feet. Lewa said, "Makuta, just come on back if you ever wanna try again, I done told you once—you son of a Brakas—I'm the best that's ever been!" And he played: "Lava on the Mountain." Run, Toa, run! Makuta's in the Wahi of the rising sun; Kahu's in the bread pan, picking out dough. Gaaki, does your Moa bite? No, Toa, no. ----------------------------------- Comments? Questions? Criticisms? 24. Exo Force, definitely. The mechs were cool and creative, and had a very cool anime feel to them. The IFB sets are rather bland in comparison, and some of them look just plain unfinished.
  25. Well, you tend to get a bit of warping occasionally, especially from viewing angles like that (i.e. not 90 degrees, or 180 degrees, etc.). How does it look when you zoom out? Because when it's zoomed in so much, it gets pixelated, and you notice the warping. But from a distance, which is how it will look in comics, it may look different. -Rez This is true. If that doesn't work try the interpolation set on cubic. Okay, I tried this out and it does look decent from a distance. Not perfect, but more than serviceable. Thanks for the help!
