  1. Well, I'm gonna have to take up the first six slots with the Bionicle Stars sets because seriously, screw those things. For the rest...actually, no, the Stars automatically override any hate I might have for other sets. They're just that terrible.
  2. I see he's been taking posing lessons from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
  3. Weird living robots, Super cliche characters, Love it anyway.
  4. Member Name: Kung Fu Holidays Entry Picture: WARNING: Large Resolution. May take a bit to load on slow internet connections. Entry Topic: Here.
  5. Here's my entry for the Journey To Netflix contest. I went for sort of a minimalist yet detailed-ish style on this one, so who knows how that turned out. ^^^^CLICK FOR FULL IMAGE^^^^ Warning: This image is huge. I put a lot into this thing, so the resolution is somewhat HD. Enjoy! 6. A (currently) bulky Toa of Fire named the Kung Fu Pyro. He sorta gets rebuilt a bunch, but he always wears the Mistika Hau because APPARENTLY I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKED THAT MASK.
  7. I don't. This franchise and everyone and everything related to it sucks including me. Mainly the sets, though I find the concept and story to be pretty interesting at times.
  8. WHO'S READY TO GET SPOOPY?! (I'll probably be entering this so yeah)
  9. I have to say, I'm kinda digging the aesthetic here. The sets give off an early 2000's Lego feel, especially with more orange transparent weapons. That trailer though.... Are they trying to look stupid, or is that actually a proper representation of the series? Let's see what they have to say about this... Yeah, okay, either that trailer is screwing with us, or they have severely overestimated their capabilities.
  10. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a manga franchise that follows various people nicknamed 'JoJo' and their bizarre adventures. It's become very popular for its over-the-top tone and fight scenes. For example: Granted, that's from one of the games, but it's more or less an exact re-enactment of the manga.
  11. I did make this myself. I didn't even know the other guy existed. If you want proof, try playing them at the same time. The syncs are different.
  12. So, guess who's been watching too much JoJo recently? ^^^^Click for full image^^^^ Trick question: There's no such thing as 'too much JoJo'. Anyways, have this thing I did on a whim and didn't spend as much time as I should've on. Because. (For the record, Kopaka's Stand is [Alnoe Platinum].)
  13. I wanna wait a bit to see what happens with this, but from what I can see so far, it looks promising!
  14. Well, if we're talking about singular moments, it's where Tahu gets turned back into a Toa Mata. What was even the point of that?! I know they handwaved it by saying 'on, the armor can only work for a Toa Mata', but that just raises more questions!
  15. STARS STARS STAAAAAAAARRS I didn't like them. Bad articulation, uninspired set design, only four new pieces barely applicable anywhere else, and quite possibly the single worst combiner model ever designed, the Stars outright sucked. Maybe i wouldn't have minded so much if they weren't supposed to be the last Bionicle sets ever made. I am really glad we got Bionicle back, because that would've been a pretty bitter note to permanently leave as your legacy.
  16. Favorite was the Sayger saga. The biggest love-it or hate-it art style, and I fall firmly into the first camp. I said my least favorite was Hordika, but really, any comics from the 'watch the movie to see the ending' years inordinately irritated me to no end.
  17. Okay, so, lots of good points here, but ever since watching/becoming unhealthily obsessed with Steven Universe, I have merely this to say: WHY DO THEY NEVER FUSE It's established that the Toa can fuse almost whenever they want, practically however they want, and get super powerful doing so! Now, technically speaking, the chart as to who could probably fuse might be something like this: Toa Mata: Can Fuse; DidToa Nuva: Can Fuse; DidToa Metru: Too inexperienced to fuse.Toa Hordika: Same as Metru, Hordika state also makes it physically impossible.Toa Inika: Unknown; Possibly unable to fuse thanks to Red Star energy.Toa Mahri: Second verse, same as the first; Pit mutation probably didn't help.Toa Phantoka/Mistika: TOTALLY ABLE TO FUSE BUT DIDN'T DESPITE HAVING TO FACE QUITE POSSIBLY THEIR STRONGEST ENEMIES HELLO!So, yeah, even though fusion was established as this super-awesome power that Toa totally have, we only ever see the the same six Toa from the beginning of the franchise able to use it, and very sparingly at that! Considering the 'building toy' aspect of the franchise, I have to say I would've been expecting a bit more than what we got!
  18. Oh, hey, Onua saves Lewa again. Anyone surprised by this, raise your hand. If you've never heard of Bionicle in your life, you may put your hands down now. On another note, I can't help but get the feeling that Kopaka wouldn't have minded in the slightest if Tahu hadn't moved his head out of the way.
