There were never any opaque Vakama Metru disks released as far as I am aware. He might be confusing it for a Throwbots disk. However, if he does in fact have an opaque Vakama Metru disk, he is the owner of what is potentially a pretty valuable misprint. If possible, I could take a picture.

They're made of the same ABS plastic (or in the case of transparent parts, polycarbonate plastic) as any joint pieces before them. The design is what's sturdier, not the material.None of mine have even showed any sign of breaking. Pity the same can't be said of the Y-joints in my Jetbug set, which was from an early production run and thus used the 2008-2010 style of joints. Same, to both.

One of it, the guy who got it on ebay doesn't have xplode and got it in 2009ish.EDIT: corrected spelling error.Also, it is metru red, maybe a bit darker.
