It's not that the problems are any different than those of Ninjago or Hero Factory or whatever else, but they're just so much more extreme, and so much more prevalent, to the point where any kind of improvement seems extremely unlikely.

Aside from the actually really good animation (hindered somewhat by the character designs), this is absolutely horrendous. The voice actors don't emote at all, they all sound unbelievably obnoxious, the story is virtually nonexistent, the pacing is haphazard, the constant attempts at humor are completely unfunny, and it is really, really, really, even by Lego standards, sexist. If this is a self-parody, then the joke is a little too subtle for audiences to catch. I won't be watching when the full show comes on.

Mask of Light: Rewrite the Matoran relationships, and focus less on them and more on the Toa. Get rid of the stupid Kolhii match at the beginning. Make the Rahkshi and Makuta more threatening. Actually have Takanuva and Makuta duke it out. Get rid of all the inexplicable stuff that makes no sense, like Takanuva turning the giant Mata Nui head into a giant Takua head, freezing Turahk gold, Lewa using Tahu's sword to create fire, Lewa carrying Pewku, lack of mask/elemental power usage by the Toa, and the entire ending. All the voices need to be changed. Dialog needs to be rewritten. More exposition for people who aren't familiar with Bionicle. Characters need to be redesigned. Legends of Metru Nui: Focus more on Whenua, Nuju, and Onewa. Totally change Matau. Don't give Matau two mask powers. Make Makuta more threatening. Once again, new dialog, voices, animation, etc. Take out all the cringe-worthy slapstick humor. Web of Shadows: Fix all the glaring plot holes, so probably a complete script rewrite. Focus more on the Toa besides Vakama. Have Vakama turn evil more slowly, and have the other Toa also kind of go crazy. Totally redo the Rahaga. New voices for everybody except possibly Roodaka, but give her voice actress some acting lessons or something, because her performance was kind of obtuse. Take out any attempt at humor. The Legend Reborn: Nothing in that movie really works. Everything's got to go and be completely redone.

Because it's a stupid, cheesy, cringe-inducingly bad, and poorly delivered line, even by our bottom-of-the-barrel standards.

Well, Lego obviously still thinks there's a market for these things... Graphic Novel #10, perhaps?

You know, you guys keep saying that all these rules are in place to shelter the kids or whatever, but honest to God I don't see any kids on here anymore (or many people at all). Somebody should make a topic or a poll or something and see just how many kids there are on here.

Man, Lego is investing a TON of money into this. They obviously expect this to be insanely successful. Honestly, though, I don't think it will. The kids who like, say, Ninjago, will probably find the whole talking animals thing kind of dumb. I predict a financial failure.

Unfunny comedies. I don't blame the writers, who have the potential to actually be funny. I blame the rules that keep out anything potentially amusing.

Thoughts: Huge animation improvement Black Phantom's hand? I thought he was in jail? Maybe another inexplicable inconsistency... Those brain slug ships with the blades look really cool. The brain slugs look like the Krang from Ninja Turtles. I don't really like the cartoon rendition of Pyrox, but what we glimpsed of Ogrum looks amazing. White villain sort of looks like an ugly mess, but nice pieces. Minor nitpick but the Hero Core clamps don't actually clamp the Hero Core. Blue and trans-yellow Surge with Buzz Lightyear wings? Good idea, but I think I'll pass. Evo looks pretty cool. Trans-purple or red would be cooler, but the blue shells would be good for modifying Breakout Stringer. Stormer looks very cool. I wonder what's in his left hand? Rocka and Bulk look pretty bad animated. Making Furno's fire elements actual fire was a really good choice. He looks awesome. The one thing I'm interested in is how they animate his cape. Cloth animation is fairly difficult, and I'm not sure the company that animated Hero Factory can pull it off. The music is terrible. The typo at the end was cringe-worthy.

The villain is some kind of evil capitalist? Not that I'm against that kind of thing at all, but it seems pretty hypocritical of a massive company like Lego.

In the book (I own it) , they were being buried under several tons of rock. Then we see that they are surrounded by rock, and Pohatu says that if they flew out, they would end up in the swamp water; so, they are completely surrounded by rock, in the swamp water. Pohatu then fuses the rocks together, and levitates it, with them in it, out of the swamp.

What bonesii gave a perfect sientific explenation why not, thats the whole point of this topicExcept that Pohatu did it in The Final Battle.

Looking closely at Bulk, I think his visor is connected by a stud on the top of his head...

Yes, but for mainstream audiences to care, they'd have to bring back at least some of the main cast, and they're so old that having them return would be kind of depressing.
