  1. Being unable to discuss images that might be leaked, when other Lego forums can without a problem. Ex: Lego's own message boards.
  2. So, hypothetically, if a member was to take a picture/name of a leaked set, and say that he made it up-- like, draw it or something-- I couldn't report him or her, could I? Because, if I did, I'd basically be confirming that it's a leaked set, right? Seems like a pretty big hole in the rules. Please clarify.
  3. They knew what was going on up until the Barraki got the Ignika...
  4. I really doubt that the Order really needed to communicate with the Pit that often.Yes, they do. They said in Bionicle World that they lost contact with an observer there.
  5. So every time they need to contact someone they have Botar teleport over there and relay the message? Sounds incredibly impractical. And what would the Dark Hunters do, especially in the middle of a war?
  6. Pretty much. Jar Jar is at best out of place in a franchise where planets blow up, and at worst a horribly offensive , and incidentally unbelievably obnoxious ethnic stereotype. Not sure what you see in him.As far as Episode VII goes... first off, this is obviously just a cash-grab and not some kind of long-awaited epic continuation or whatever, because they've got absolutely no @#$%%$# idea where they're going with this. George Lucas must've just said, "Hey, I want to make even more money than I already have. Let's milk the Star Wars cash cow even more," without thinking anything through first. So, I'll keep my expectations low. Second... where would you go, anyway? Darth Vader's dead, the Empire is over, and Mark Hamill, Carrey Fisher, and Harrison Ford are so old that trying to re-spark the magic with them would just be depressing. Of course, they could just do something that, aside from the name, is totally unrelated, but then why would anybody want to see it? Third, this is going to completely wipe out the EU. At this point, they ought to just say it's a different continuity or something, instead of trying to work it all in. Finally, I doubt Lucas will get some director who'll do anything crazy with the franchise. Most likely, he'll get some director-for-hire like John Favreau with no real vision and who'll do whatever he wants without blinking, just like Rick McCallum and the rest of the crew who did the prequels.I've come to the conclusion that there is no way any Star Wars novel or comic can be any good. If they had a good idea, they'd make it into a movie or something.Very weak season of Clone Wars so far, after a really strong start. Onderon was really mediocre and boring, and this Young Jedi arc is just dumb. This upcoming droid arc also looks pitiful. I'm still holding out for the rest of the Darth Maul episodes, and the Clovis arc, as well as the Jedi temple arc (probably the season finale), look interesting, too.
  7. Hi, I'm fourteen. Does that count?Anyway, the annoying thing about BZPower?BZPRPG News and Discussion. Too many arguments these days. Not really. Most fourteen-year-olds are fairly jaded.
  8. The sets are fairly mediocre, and the secondary, "turtle" vehicles, aside from the Stealth Shell, are honestly terrible (although maybe that's just because the vehicles in the show are poorly designed). However, the figures, particularly the turtles, (aside from their fairly bland-looking weapons), are actually really excellent, and I'm sure that's the chief reason for purchasing these sets. It's nice that there are variants on the turtles instead of doing the same figure in multiple sets.
  9. What do you mean?Like, how would the Order of Mata Nui communicate with a member stationed in The Pit?
  10. How do characters communicate long-distance?
  11. Man, Liam Neeson is a decent actor, but the movies he stars in are usually bad. Star Wars, Narnia, Battleship, and now this.
  12. Firstly, there is no 'fear' of mentioning homosexuality, otherwise there'd be none of these posts bringing it up to begin with.As far as discussion of homosexuality goes, I'm fairly sure it's left off-limits for the same reason discussion of politics or religion is - it simply courts controversy at a level inappropriate for a child-friendly website.Because homosexuality is inappropriate for a child-friendly website, but heterosexuality isn't.
  13. The staff's constant focus on administering punishment.
  14. Nope. Teridax teleported TSO's eyebeams in Time Trap.
  15. He needed the Power Lance when he got it because his light power was so limited. When his light was restored, he didn't need it anymore, I guess.
  16. In all the time I've been on BZPower (which admittedly hasn't been very long and maybe things happened in the past), I've never seen someone give Greg any more negative feedback than what he deserves. I've hardly ever seen people give him negative feedback at all, actually. Usually people are sitting on their hands and giving him tons of credit for everything he does (and doesn't do). You (Bonesiii and Thunder on the Mountain) are saying (and, again, I've never seen this happen, but maybe it has), that the lack of negative feedback is because if there is any, Greg will actually pull a George Lucas and back out of the whole thing? According to you, he's so oversensitive that if anyone criticizes him, he'll go home crying and quit Bionicle? That's kind of bad, actually. On the other hand, if all you do is say "take your time, relax, whenever you feel like it," he'll never update the serials because he has no pressure to do it. You could say "have a little faith and patience" a year from now. Therefore, smiling and saying nothing won't convince him to write any more chapters, either. The thing is, Greg seems to have quit. He's not getting payed, so he doesn't care anymore. Assuming he still visits BZPower and values fan input, the best approach for us to take is one that realistically and fairly acknowledges how he's been doing at writing the story as of recently, which honestly hasn't been great. Don't give him any more credit than he deserves, and don't be overly demanding (which I don't think I've been) either. At that point, it's up to him. It's not biting the hand that feeds you. It's biting the hand that used to feed you, but doesn't any more, and still giving it credit for it.
  17. No, because Lego deliberately made Bionicle non-religious in order to appeal to a wider demographic and sell more toys. Speaking of which, this topic will probably get closed down pretty soon.
  18. Jesus Christ, Morgan Freeman? In this garbage?! There goes your career...
