Haven't posted here on the forums in a while, I know. Been busy building and stuff. Decided to make a revamp of one of my favorites of the new Breakout wave, which obviously is Splitface. Bulked him up, customized his gun, and gave him a larger 'fleshy' left hand. Splitface faced Surge once before the Breakout, Surge's electrical defense tools caused Splitface's hand to swell like a balloon, making his hand bigger. Actually the only reason it's like that is because I couldn't find a 2.0 red hand for some reason But anyway here are some pics. His new, upgraded gun: And one more pose: To edit in in a minute..Enjoy all. More on the way shortly.-Cirkit

Favorite Hero Factory Set?
Cirkitree replied to The Swimming Beard's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Yaaay I was helpful in something The more and more I think about it, the more I think I should have picked up a Witch Doctor while I still could. Complex build, loads of white parts(which I need), lots of great parts, and skulls. Got to love dem skulls. -
Lord', that's a good looking and perhaps overly depressed robot. I love how smooth the whole thing looks, especially with the disks on the legs and the HF parts. I almost didn't see those Bohrok limbs on the feet, they sort of look like they can move like an accordion(the instrument) and keep balance for the bot. Or maybe they're part of a big boot, and the bot moves about by it's wheels? Guns are great, always- and the blue really looks nice against the orange. And I love orange, especially in that mask(great choice by the way), which is reason enough to hug the S.A.D little bot.. before it blows my arm off or something. :PI have got to try a build like this.

What Would You Like To See In A Hf Set.
Cirkitree replied to Hexann's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
I wouldn't mind seeing that either.. something that Merrick Fortis of 'Recon' could use? There's been talk on Eurobricks about Heroes with mind-controlling slugs.. I wouldn't mind seeing more translucent parts, or perhaps parts that fade from solid to translucent? Sort of like how the kratta slugs faded from one color to another. And not just cladding either. Something for decoration, a helmet, a tool, even parts like hands- I wouldn't mind seeing a fist in trans-orange!Away from individual parts, I'd like to see a HF set with wings like the Batman Ultrabuild set had(or like the Dume/Nivawk-Krekka-Nidhiki combo a few years back had!), or a gun, in a set, with two barrels! That would be pretty cool, I think. -
Favorite Hero Factory Set?
Cirkitree replied to The Swimming Beard's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
From the most recent wave, I find Core Hunter to be aesthetically appealing. The colour scheme is great and well layered, the mask looks creepy but suits the character, there are a number of useful parts for Moc-Making(dat torso, man), and his character is one I thoroughly enjoy Voltix's wild colour scheme I didn't like at first, but the more I looked, the more it grew on me, excited me. That, and purple lilac torso, man!! The Heroes and Villains get better and better each wave, but my favorite sets- The Furno Bike and Rotor- both come from when Hero Factory was just getting started. They were fun, they both had their own play features- Furno the bike and Rotor the propellor- which made for great creativity. Sadly I did not get my hands on Rotor, but I really really liked him.And.. boy it's tough to choose favorites, isn't it? -
Most of my collection is dismantled now, and is being used for bigger and better things.. more on that later. From the first wave, I've got Heroes Stormer, 2 Bulks, 2 Stringers, and Surge. For Villains I have collected Xplode, Meltdown, and my sis and I share Von Nebula. I also have the Furno Bike, still all in one piece. I've collected one of each of the six Heroes from wave 2, and have a second Surge. I also have Fire-Lord, Nitroblast, Drilldozer, and Jetbug! I didn't get Stormer from the Savage Planet wave as I thought I would.. he was sold out by the time I got to the store to buy him! Instead, I have Stringer, Bulk, and Rocka. I also have a Raw-Jaw, and a Waspix. I think that's it for that wave. And for the Breakout Waves, both 1 & 2, I have collected Rocka, 2 Evos(for use on a big project!), and Stormer XL. In the way of villains I have The Black Phantom, Voltix, Toxic Reapa, and Splitface. I really want Breez and Thornraxx, but I can't find them in any local stores :/

Hero Factory Movie In The Works
Cirkitree replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
There's an idea. Another idea could be that some point during the movie, when X evil comes to Earth or wherever and does battle with X Heroes, a human character could don a suit of Hero Factory-Styled armor that like the Halo Spartan armor gives the bearer superhuman strength and speed, so said human character can carry out an important task to stop the villain while X Heroes distract X villain. Don't know where the idea came from, but I thought it was interesting.I read somewhere on here about references to Bionicle? Perhaps instead there could be references to online material, like HF Radio, or references to past episodes(more likely, I think)? Something to think about. -
Hero Factory Movie In The Works
Cirkitree replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I nearly wet myself when I saw the article on the front page. A Live Action Hero Factory movie?? If these producers get the rights to make a movie, I'll be very very pleased. I wanted something like this to happen with Bionicle, but a plot with Hero Factory should be about as exciting. The plot Mesonak laid out is about how I would expect it to be, though with humans it sounds too much like Transformers(not that that's a bad thing). If a movie is made, I hope the dialogue is thought out a bit more than in the series being put out there now. The jokes feel forced, the flow jumpy. When the characters try to sound smart, they sound silly. I imagine a lot of robot jokes would be utilized, but perhaps the characters could break the fourth wall and reference Bionicle somehow? Older fans would get a kick out of that. As for animation, I feel that the same technique as Avatar and other movies could be used. A human actor in front of a green screen wears a rubber body suit with big white dots that the camera tracks, and special software is used to render the robot body around the human, keeping the movements the same but the human out. I imagine most of the Hero bots would be rendered this way, with larger villains such as Rotor, Von Nebula, Fire Lord, etc. being people on stilts and more CG effects(Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" is a fine example of this), with buildings being CG, effects real life and CG effects blended, etc. I could see that happening very easily, especially with the tech available for animation today. I just hope the voice actors are better than what we've got on TV. If Mark Surge speaks in live action with that freakishly high, punched-in-the-junk kind of voice, then I might throw my popcorn(up on someone else's ). I look forward to seeing how this turns out. I am very excited for this. -
YES! So I'm not the only one!Tried making Thor (based on his appearances in the 'Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' series), got stuck on the hammer and head. I imagine if released the head would be one part, and the hammer two or three.Anyway... Haven't we seen the small-length HF limb in lime in the Toxic Reapa set? It's used as his neck. I am rather surprised (and very pleased) at how you didn't overlook the good of The Hulk set and just focus on the bad. He's not my favorite either, especially with the armor on the torso (how would that even work? Would it be a breastplate of some kind?) and his open back(weak spot!), but in some of those poses Hulk looks.. smashing. :PI think you did well with the review, it was very enjoyable, and gives me more incentive to purchase the Hulk.. probably only just for his parts, but still!

What Would You Like To See In A Hf Set.
Cirkitree replied to Hexann's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Flick Missles! I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks very much for the correction regarding the azure, Aanchir, I do appreciate it. Wasn't the Dark Azure featured in the Lego "Friends" sets? I agree to the blue. I've been trying to use pieces from my collection to make a proper blue villain for my heroes to face, just need to buy the Ultrabuild Batman. The lack of Blue or other cool colors (I do know what you mean by that, I took a fair number of art classes in high school, but blue's still 'cool' cool ) in previous waves is disappointing. I did enjoy the fact that Stormer intro'd the blue spikes, but other than that there wasn't alot of 'cool' going for the wave. I hope that with the intro of purple Lilac into the range that we get more sets with those sorts of color. I thank you both again for the feedback. -
Woah! Quite a collection of MOCs here.Drilldozer looks good! The armor makes him look much more muscly, and he'd need that muscle to lift that drill off the ground. I like that you used the original armor from the set (the black upper piece and the 7 long armor piece), and even kept the 'third arm' there on the back, very nice! The horns do look a little large, but looking at him from the other angles, they work, and do make your Drilldozer look ferocious.. almost like a bull in a way. The pair just below look good, only three sets? Wow. Contaminator looks a decent villain. I do like the 3-jointedness on the legs, and the way TR's head's used. Makes the load on his back look solid. I quite like the acid or gas or whatever it is spurting out the tanks on the back.. and just now I noticed the what you were talking about, with Furno's armor acting as the eyes. That is pretty clever. Rufus Sanitizer(smart) looks okay, a basic hero with a consistent color scheme. I do like the pickaxe on the right arm, creative use of so few pieces. TR/TT looks a fair bit more armored now, I like that. His armor still sort of bulges away from the torso, and I like it, because it makes TR look less 'human', more of a monster villain. However, I would have liked it more if his lower legs had a little less cladding( like a 4 or 3 long), to keep with how the original set looked, and to keep with the non-human vibe I got from the original set. As for the Hero foot on the back- smart. On to the Captain, his name pretty much sums him up. Pretty consistent color scheme, I do like the lime tube through the back of the torso armor there, could be a necklace or just a tube keeping the character alive, or just fueling the weapon, who knows. The torso armor makes me wonder if the character is a HF Hero or someone else, he doesn't look all that threatening to me. I love how you used the Rocka helmet as the heel of the boot, knew there had to be another use for that piece. I almost want to try doing that now.. almost. Good looking guy overall. I had to look twice at this Turbulence guy. All those tubes just swirling and snaking around through the armor are something to look at. They excite me a little, don't know why. The color scheme reminds me of an old "Doc Ock" toy from Spiderman that I used to own. I like the use of the leg armor (I've done the same with Xplode on Eurobricks) and how well the helmet works on this guy. Great job with him!Now.. to Meltdown. I have seen others build him in 2.0, I've even built him myself(with the wrong color tentacle :/ ), and most have kept him consistent with the original. I do like that you've kept the original lower legs, and made the upper legs look as close to the original Ben10 legs as possible. I do like the way you put the tanks on, very much consistent to the original set, and the armor. I like how he still looks mostly yellow and black, much like the other villains of the first wave, with a color and black, and others added if needed. His torso looks well bulked up, and I do like that, but I feel the 3 long black armor above his head sticks out a little too much. Overall though, nice job. We gotThunder rolling in next.. and the weather appropriately fits for typing this where I am right now. I love that claw-crusher, really do. It's a great use of those 3.0 tusks/wings, it's bulky, and it looks ready to do some damage! (in my head a crowd cheers, like at a monster-truck rally. Weird, I know.)The rest of him looks well bulked-up too, and I do love the addition of the new rounded armor on top. Remember what it said on the site about him being able to roll up into a ball? That just makes me really happy. The claw as a spine-blade on the back is pretty great too.. overall I am just loving this revamp. And finally, last but not least, the Furnorilla Pyro. Looks a bit beastie, not bad at all. The use of the Furno helmet is very nice, I've seen others try it, and it fits well here. The quaza-spike as a tail is nice, and the backwards 1.0 torso is pretty cool as a front torso. The color scheme is pretty consistent, red and black, though I can't help feeling that the back armor clashes a bit with the rest of the guy.. there isn't any other silver to balance it out My bad, there is a piece holding the tail on. BUT, I do feel a little bit somewhere else might make it look a bit better. The character overall looks bulky and strong, and ready to knock a couple of Hero heads together. An impressive collection of Hero Factory creations at 'the dump', It's pretty good work, and I hope to see more from you in the future. Cirkit

What Would You Like To See In A Hf Set.
Cirkitree replied to Hexann's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Personally, I'd like to see a launcher that shot something that wasn't a ball. Like a disc launcher, or a spear launcher (make a tube and pass it off as a spear or something), just something new. I'd also like it if there were a different Hero Team shown instead of Alpha Team all the time. And, Hero characters with similar colors to existing heroes. I mean, in the background we've seen other blue, red, yellow, green, etc. colored Heroes, why not showcase them for once? I'd personally love to see a Gunmetal and New Azure colored Hero figure myself.. Why not have maybe one of the older heroes be the leader of a team of say 4 or 5 'newbies', like Breez, Surge, or heck, maybe even Evo or Rocka as the leader? It could work! And speaking of things that could work, what about a BLUE villain? We've seen plenty of Red, Yellow, and Green villains, even had Silver, White, and Purple Lilac in Voltix, so why not another blue guy? Sure, we've had Von Nebula, and Vapour, but Vapour really didn't do anything, or feature in the official story in really any way (other than that brief flash of an appearance on a computer screen in the third episode of "Rise of the Rookies"), but why not any more? I feel blue should be used more often, with New Azure. And the villain doesn't have to be a water-based villain (although that would be so awesome), it could be electricity like Surge, or a Vacuum-weapon-holding villain.. just something with blue please, and I'll be a happy camper. Annnd... that's all I can think of.. for now. -
Can't wait to see Stormer next year (if he really is to come out next year), although the 'Hulk' looks kind of odd on him. Maybe someone like Bulk could pull it off, or Evo (if he didn't already have a set out for the Breakout series), but Stormer.. eh. To me, he looks like a Giant Snowman. Might as well rename him Frosty. :PThat purple guy... hmm. All the wiring looks like it's coming from his head, maybe he controls things with his mind? Or absorbs thoughts. Just a lot of tubes running up there. Man.One other thing- Where the ###### is Breez?? She appeared on the "Breakout" poster, and then.. nothing. Not in the Rocka vs BP video, her set hasn't shown up yet.. it's weird. And she's the one I want most this year..

Neat idea. As others have stated before, the creative uses of the pieces is what really does it for this creation. The Metru heads placed as they are remind me of an old combiner, but I can't remember what the name of that thing was. The Thornax Meteor Plasma Multi-Purpose Launchers as legs is neat also. The launcher pieces make the legs look like they can be very flexible, sort of like the robot legs in the villain machines in the "Incredibles" movie. Or at least, that's the first thing that comes to mind. Very neat idea indeed!

I have to be honest, the first word that came to mind when I saw this, was.. Gangsta! The guy looks skinny, not as ridiculously twig like with the arms on the original set, more of a sleek kind of skinny, and I like that; but it also appears the man bot means business. I think the spikes on the lower arms go well with the rest, and I could believe the ones on the shoulders to be missiles, as seen in the cartoons. The 'bling' around the neck is pretty cool too, the blue bit looks a little out of place, but I like it anyway. It's different, and different can be good. I do wish, however, that the original Glatorian Shin Armor was used instead of that Metru-red Visorak foot piece.. the Color looks more out of place than the blue on the 'bling'. But overall, I quite enjoy this moc of this character, very well done. Will you be Mocing more of the 1.0 villains, such as Thunder, Rotor, or even Vapour?

Wow, this is really great! I like the hunch, and those nozzles. Before I'd assumed that he fired the sludge out his Zamor Meteor Launcher-type thing, or else flipped it out with his tentacle (speaking of which, why didn't you include it?), but after seeing the episodes he featured in, having the nozzles make more sense. IN short, I quite enjoy this moc of Meltdown. I have few, if any, complaints, but none that are worth mentioning in this comment.. So.. yeah. Nice job.

The new sets are looking pretty sweet. I personally want to get Reapa and Splitface, they're my favorites out of the villains. Does anyone suppose it's possible to take two Splitfaces (Splitfaci?) and make two figures, one completely red, and one completely grey? I'd kind of like that if it were.Heh, Evo's helmet kind of looks like a dog. If you squint. And have really dirty glasses. Awoof.

Bbc Contest #62: Final Poll!
Cirkitree replied to Queen of Noise's topic in Official BBC Contest #81 Voting
I was stuck between the two Batmans and the Cat. They were all very nicely built in their own ways, and it was hard for me to pick just one. I went with Catwoman in the end. Best of luck to the finalists! -
I remember this guy! I think he looks the part- the jetpack thing he uses to fly around is a bit low, in my opinion, and the waist isn't as narrow as the cartoon, but it's minor and doesn't detract from the creation that much. I do like the use of the Waspix pieces for the stripes on the arms, I thought that was pretty cool.I Wish you luck in the competition!

Which Heroes For Summer 2012?
Cirkitree replied to Omicron Squad Leader's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
I would like one of the secondary characters like Breez or Surge to be the 'leader' of a team in 2012. Leaning towards Breez though. My lineup would consist of: [*]Breez [*]Stringer[*]Nex (with 5 long cladding, thankyouverymuch!)[*]Surge And a new female Hero, but not necessarily in a new color. We've seen different villains in the same colors as previous waves, so why not different Heroes in the same or similar colors? Like a new Red or Silver Hero Character. We've seen characters like them in the background in episodes, it is a possibility. If I were to do a team of 6, I'd add Bulk, and really bulk him up a bit more. -
What Do You Do With The Hero Factory Boxes?
Cirkitree replied to Aedai Rivin's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
For me it depends. Sometimes the boxes get so torn up I have to toss em'. I keep the canisters for part storage, and sometimes I use the not-discarded boxes as buildings when I play. As I said, it depends. -
Hero Factory Parts You Wish Existed
Cirkitree replied to Aedai Rivin's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
I'd like to see massive round shoulder pads like Samus Aran's, new chest armor, awesome new Zamor-gun pieces, and a torso shell with abs.. Nah, kidding aside, I'd like to see more parts in unusual colors like purple, aqua-green(or turquoise), or in a transparent blue. Longer Orange pads, like in a 5 or 6 size, should be used, and I'd like to see a unique villain piece of some kind make, like a clawed fist or something. Or the bringing back of the 2.0 headpieces.. those were just starting to grow on me when they went away -
I like how Witch Doctor's legs were built, very flexible and all, but I don't like the Firelord-Rocka XL- Black Phantom-clone-leg-design being used on the titans. I would like a little more originality, or at least a cure for the extreme limits of the current leg design. Other than that fault, the overall designs of the Warrior-Scale figures seems alright to me. Can't wait for Black Phantom to come out, with those shoulder pads and that chest armor.. mm-m!
