Evil Santa... XD Great Christmas comic, Sybre. Merry Christmas!
  2. Wow, so far, this looks great! You're using the MNOLG kit, haven't seen that one in a long time... Good graphics, great humor! Keep it up!
  3. Thanks. By the way, Merry Christmas, Sybre! I hope you have a great holiday.
  4. Yeah, I may use that gag a good bit... Not so much that it wears out, though. It's a Nativity Scene. I couldn't resist. We have to keep in mind the meaning behind the holiday... I should have thought of that! Maybe I'll do that next year...
  5. He'd be suing them for goofing off and not getting to work. And... Merry Christmas, BZPower! (Actually, it's Christmas Eve, but nevermind that) I've just uploaded my Christmas Comic, front page. I'm heading off for my Christmas break! I'll be gone for about a week, probably longer. "...and on Earth, Peace, good will toward men."
  6. "Corny" is an understatement. Yup. Lego gets "cornier" every year.
  7. That sounds fun. But yes, future plans... Great! Jeb says that the next update after this one will take quite some time... so you should have a good while.
  8. Thanks! Sure, I'll tell Kohrak.
  9. And if the Noble Kanohi include a Pakari and a Kakama? And that brings up another question: Would a Turaga Nui posses the mask Powers of all six Turaga combined? Or would it just be the mask power of the Turaga with the strongest willpower? Or would it be rendered a powerless Kanohi? If the latter, then a Turaga Nui would just have to rely on limited Elemental Powers alone. Actually, I'm pretty sure that it's a misstatement to label a Turaga's powers as "miniscule". They had a sizeable amount, enough to fight with. Also, the Turaga Nui would use whichever one of the Kanohi ended up on its face, I believe. For that matter, the MoL movie has given this misconception that Turaga are basically old people. That's not the case at all, actually, they are physically stronger than the average Matoran, and can use their tools, elemental powers, and Kanohi to great effect in a fight. They're not feeble or worn out by any means.
  10. Here's my question, thanks Erebus! Question(s): In 2001, when the Toa Mata had to find their six respective Kanohi masks on the island of Mata Nui, did they also have to find each of the six Noble Kanohi in their respective colors? Although they were not usable on the Toa Suvas, nor were they necessary for the Golden Kanohi, they were still clearly important. Did the Turaga give the Noble Masks to the Toa? What about duplicates? That is, would Onua have been able to find a Noble Kanohi Ruru in Onu-Wahi, even though Turaga Whenua already wore one? Trust me, I've been mulling over that one for years. I'd like it if they did have to/were able to find them. It makes things more fun.
  11. Good grief, this is a hard one! I only have a few sets: Onua Mata, Ehrye, Vahki Bordakh, and Kongu Mahri. I'd probably go for Onua Mata, because he is old and somewhat rare, and a fun Toa to play with. But leaving the other sets would be hard... Fortunately, if a natural disaster hit, my four sets (and some odd collectible Kanohi and Kanoka that I have) would be easy to pack up and evacuate. That's one advantage to a small collection...
  12. Now I want a rare collectable. Oh well. Congratulations on owning such a rare Kanohi! My brother has a Copper Mask of Victory (Huna, I bought it for him), and a couple of Kanohi from '01 that could only have come in Mask Packs (A brown Hau and Tan Noble Mahiki). I myself have a Dark Grey Noble Matatu, a Dark Grey Noble Rau, and some odd Kanoka. So not that much in the way of collectibles (for me, at least. That Copper Mask is rare!)
  13. Yeah... I thought it would look unrealistic right off the bat if these three folks who are usually out of work somehow come up with several thousand widgets. So... maybe cars on Metro Nui are just a lot cheaper, or widgets are a lot more valuable.
  14. I say wait. Once 1.5 comes out, blitz the coding. Even if a new update comes out after 1.5, keep working with 1.5. Once you have the basis for the mod, it should be easier to recode for subsequent updates. Sorry about that virus, is your computer okay now?
  15. Hi-tech note passing. Thanks. I'll try not to let it slip too far. I promise that all and any GS's that I have will have a place in Heroes of Metro Nui. And you'll get a character profile in my character sheet, which I should make around February. I like detailed profiles, so you'll all get plenty of description.
  16. Well, neither do I. Interestingly enough, those sprites are Gameboy Colors. I didn't have a cell phone sprite! Thanks.
  17. Hey everyone! I've got an important little update for you, and a mini-comic. Because I shouldn't double-post without a comic to upload. Anyways, here's the issue: My family is pretty busy, what with getting ready for Christmas, finishing semester schoolwork, and taking care of the new baby. So I'm going to have to take a Christmas break from comic-making. I'll finish up my Christmas episode and release it on Christmas Eve, but otherwise I have to let the comic work go, and come back around mid to late January. I know that I spouted all that stuff about "Heroes of Metro Nui" (), and I was going to have a teaser episode for you, but Microsoft Paint had an odd glitch, and nearly all of the teaser was distorted. I had to trash it, and, unfortunately, I don't have time to start over now. So I'll try to get back in business around mid to late January. Thanks, guys, for all your support. And, as I said, there will be a Christmas episode. I can't miss that, now, can I?
  18. Nice, Nice! A terrific description of the Templar forces. And nice accuracy with the weapon designations, too. Except that the Templums are holding Plasma Rifles, not Plasma Pistols. Interestingly enough, I have a bit of a memory problem in real life, so what Tehurye said was about exactly what I would have said if I was in that situation. I really like the whole underground resistance concept...
  19. Wow. Thanks! When I write comics, the humor wears off on me about a week before I finish and publish it. So I'm continuously amazed at what good reception the comics get. Yup, that was a fridge. It's what he bought at the store. It stinks when you don't have a car to haul home the heavy stuff. Well, of course, it's a Warthog. XD Please don't read my comics in class. It makes me feel guilty. Thanks again!
  20. I know. Bohrok are awesome, therefore, Bohrok Va are awesome too. True... but then, it matches the rest of their body. Whew! Comic 7 is now out! That was a real chore... I should explain something. I hinted at this in the "New Guy" comic, but I never fully explained: The island that my characters live on is called Metro Nui. It's much like Metru Nui, except that there is a bit more landscape variety, and it is not purely urban. There are elemental regions, for each of the six elements. Much like how Metru Nui has Ko-Metru, Po-Metru, Le-Metru, and so on, Metro Nui has Ko-Metro, Po-Metro, and Le-Metro. Tehurye, Boris, and Kohrak Va, by the way, live in Le-Metro. And Comic 7 also introduces a new character I designed: Avi. There's a fun secret about him... all will be explained in time. I plan to make a detailed character sheet soon, to go along with the release of my first adventure story arc. I might as well release the name of it: Heroes of Metro Nui. B) It will run alongside "The Normal Life" and be linear. It probably will not be very long (I'm not good at writing long sagas!). It takes place soon after Comic 7 (Buying a Car). Enjoy! (Hey, the emoticons are organized now! Oh YES! )
  21. True, true... I did say a bit more like a Taku. I finished the main body and rear treads, before I messed up the front and realized that I couldn't do it. I can PM the parts that I finished to you, it might give you some ideas.
  22. I like your Assault Bot! I think that the Husi looks a bit more like a Taku, though...
  23. @Toa of VirtuesPHEW! Nice save! :PAnd Click? I just got Techne!I tried to make a Kane-Ra... I got the body and rear done alright, but the rest... didn't go too well. Are there any simpler models that I could make?
  24. Being original and funny is hard. Don't feel too bad.
  25. @Toa of VirtuesThe Makuta is terrific, man!@TF GalvatronI'd really like to see you make more Rahi, if you can!I like the Manas texture, although I think that the claws should be articulated.
