  1. Dark souls is soooooo hard. I'm 10 hours in and haven't really got that far at all
  2. IC: Wryu Wryu swallowed in admittance. Maybe in good condition she'd stand a chance, but the creature was something she had never seen before. Who knew what else it could do. "Okay" she said, strapping the sickle to her waist again. I wont try to kill you if you dont try to kill me. I haven't had the greatest day, and I'd rather not make it worse by killing a... "What even are you anyway?"
  3. IC: Wryu She looked into the creatures eyes. She didn't fear death, it was just a process she didn't want to go through. Not today at least. "Because, I don't feel like killing anything else today"
  4. Now done with Game of Thrones.

Yes. But still different. Have you only watched the first season btw?

      Mare Tranquillitatis

Only seasons 1 and 2. Still have to catch up with the shocking season 3 and the even more shocking current season. Now that it's summer I have plenty of time to do it.

Season 4 is best. I'm about 1/4 the way through the first book already. I love it, even though Ned Stark is so boring.

  5. IC: Wryu Wryu stopped for a moment, in an attempt to at least summon some of her strength back. She called upon her element of fire to grant her the strength she needed to possibly fight this strange creature. Something that could backfire on her, as she was un-experienced with the power. Instead of a warm comfort, like she had anticipated, a sharp and, sobering pain shot through her, like flames burning through every passage way in her body. She was stronger now, if only temporarily, and the wound to her stomach had either stopped hurting or was being drowned out by the excruciating agony that was coursing through her veins. The creature did seem some what startled by her movement, leading her to believe it was a scavenger and not so much a predator. On a better day, she would have not have hesitated to kill the Rahi, but she knew she would not stand a chance against it in her current state. And for Wryu, it was all about survival. "Stop" She said, through clenched teeth. Wryu wasnt sure if this thing spoke Matoran, but it was only language she knew. It was at least worth a try
  6. IC: Wryu - Charred Forest Wryu felt something grab her arm. She wasn't strong enough to lift her head, but it sounded like some form of Rahi. She limply reached for her sickle that was strapped to her waist, although The Toa of Fire knew she was two weak to make a decent swing.
  7. Hey man I just want to thank you for keeping the Av for so long. Every time I look at it, it just reminds me of good times.

Honestly, I've kinda come to see it as my internet face. Sometimes I change it up a little like one would a hairstyle, but I keep it mostly the same. I still love the heck out of it, lol. xD

But yeah, thanks for making me a face in the first place. =P

It's okay dude, it was my pleasure. I love seeing your spins on it too.

  8. Well then, everyone whos interested, say so and we will work out a time that fits all our time zones.
  9. IC: Wryu - Charred Forest The Toa of Fire was unsure of where she was and how she had got there. Every foot step she made on the crackled and burnt twigs she walked on seemed to ring in her ears and the trees around her seemed to blur in the multiple as she looked from left to right. All she felt was pain. It was dark. The sky was a charcoal grey and as she collapsed to the floor, falling on to her hands and knees, she noticed that the leaves beneath her were of similar shade. She opened her mouth the speak but all that came out were quiet vocal sounds, lacking in voice or texture. Her stomach was writhing in agony. She softly put her hand to it and noticed that her hands were covered in orange blood. She was alone, it seemed. It seemed like a few hours passed as she just lay there, now on here back. She was sure she was, at the very least, dying, or maybe she was even dead. There was no point in calling for help, as her voice had failed her long ago. All she remembered was that scorpion. That darned scorpion. OOC: Wryu open for interaction.
  10. Any chance we could organise a halo night for BZP sometime soon?
  11. It's noted that all of the Toa Nuva lost their elemental powers, not just Lewa. Also Lewa wandered out of the fortress that Velika was going to blow up, so he's probably safe from that. (Although him not getting the language upgrade and getting stuck in a village of primitives is another way of the story slapping him, if you want to view it that way.) Greg not liking treespeak is a known fact, and may or may not have played into his treatment of Le-characters. For example, Greg wanted Matau to betray the group instead of Vakama. Kongu got the Suletu instead of the Mask of Flight (you can argue that it actually helped him in the end, but whatever.) Lewa was in the story the longest, so he could have gotten the shorter end of the stick. In Bionicle in general, though, that case could be made for almost any character (except for Teridax). Tahu and Gali got defeated by three Rahkshi. Tahu had to rely on Lewa for help in the jungle (that was Tales of the Masks, a Greg-written-book, BTW). And Matau was the one to save Vakama (although that was a movie thing, not Greg.) Onua and Pohatu got flattened by the Rahkshi, Onua ran from a Makuta, scared out of his wits... I just wanted to reply to the example I highlighted in your post above. I honestly wouldn't say that was due to Matau being a Le-Toa, but more so due to character development. Greg has said multiple times in the past that Matau would have been a far better choice to defect to the bad side, as he was a far more vain hero, and was quite frustrated with becoming a Hordika. He even showed greater weakness to becoming a Rahi, as duly noted with his making of a nest. Vakama was all about being a Toa, and was rarely ever confident... His character change in 2005 made absolutely no sense, which is why Greg would have preferred Matau. And honestly, I agree with him. Eww. No way should Matau have become the villian. It was vital for both characters development that Vakama was the antagonist and Mataus was the protagonist in WoS. I also think Vakama was way more susceptible because he was so insecure. So Im glad Matau became the hero in the end.
  12. Ahhh. Whats his name again? Im sure its up here somewhere. Tahu. right?
  13. Some people RP, some people blog, some people post intelligent theories. So, why do I get the most enjoyment out of status updates?

Ugh. Indie now seems to be. "We don't know what to call it genre"
  20. IC: Wryu For some reason unknown to her, Wryu had a twinge of guilt as she began to slip away unnoticed by the others. It wasn't a crippling sense of pain, but it was enough to make her stop and look back at the fight. Strange emotion guilt. Made people act like they wouldn't normally act, for better or for worse, Even if the two terms were very, very subjective did it stil make it right to run?, Wryu thought to herself. She was a girl of impulse and if her impulses told her to fight then she would fight. After all, she only normally came into any form of trouble when she didn't trust her instincts. She threw one oh her sickles at the Jaga's claw. She was a good aim, even without her Calix, which she wasnt fond of using.

Exactly the same. Im like this as well with music and actually just with life in general. I think Im just... me.
  22. IC: Wryu Ta-Koro: Charred Forrest The Copper Toa of Fire watched the others fight the Nui Jaga with all there might. They seemed to be... somewhat coping. She wasnt sure whether to help them or to back out. Yes, she would be risking her own life. It wasn't that the Nui Jaga was that much of risk, but she lived by the philosophy that she was always one wrong move away from meeting her end. Like she was on that fine line of life and death. Trouble was that life only seemed to push in one direction. She wouldnt call herself heartless, but if she just slipped away now no one would even notice she was there. No foul in no one sees it, right? OOC: This is the part where it would be good if someone noticed her.
