    Why would Nothing need to evolve. Of course it isn't evolution. The true nature of Makuta is far too terrible for GregF to comprehend. That's why the abuse of false words are placed.

    This seems an interesting idea actually. After all when we think about it, in Polynesian cultures masks are used as totemic symbols. Ethos in a form of a physical construct. Take for example; Hau is used as the symbol for not only Tahu, the leader-spirit of the god-heroes, and of protection and shielding. In its refined Kanoka form, it becomes that of growth and regeneration. It only stands to reason then that the pantheistic god of Bionicle, Mata Nui, would also then be represented by Hau. For isn't that what Mata Nui is? Protection instigating growth? So no. The shapes are not labels on cereal boxes. What preposterous and unimaginative idea that is.

    Gender is an artificial construct. The Makuta knows this. After all, we know that Makuta are essentially born from the same base energy (or, given their association with Nothing and anti-life, "anti-energy"). Inevitably, when you part of the unifying force of void and entropy, it would stand to reason that some Makuta would have the false sense of grandeur to proclaim themself as "the individual", the one amidst many. Of course, this becomes fallacious when inevitably they all serve the same purpose anyway, and in many ways all have the same mind, this only further drives them to doing stunning and horrible feats of power, literally sacrificing all else to chase that doomed desire, and that drives them further into pure madness. Which, as stated, only serves to accelerate the grand purpose of that Makuta-nature. Gender in Makuta are thus, only a side-product of this failing endeavor of finding the Self. How do Agori relate to Makuta. Why should Agori relate to Makuta.

    So, few things to recap on what I've been watching: Finished Samurai Flamenco: The best show of 2013, bar none. Nothing can compare. Its fantastic go see it. Finished Revolutionary Girl Utena: OH MY GOD THIS SHOW THIS GOD FORSAKEN SHOW YOU MESSED ME UP UTENA YOU MESSED ME UP OH GOD AAAAAAAAA ... Best anime I've ever watched. A true classic. Recommended.

    So I saw the Lego Movie. I can't believe they extended this brickfilm into a hour and a half feature. One of the most fun movies I've seen. Also, that ending punchline man. That punchline

    Catched up with Kill la Kill. The Kamui designs are still godawful and ruins every scene its in. That will forever be the only opinion I will state about the show. Also, Revolutionary Girl Utena is so far really good.

    I am just srprised Ninjago got as far as it did. It's a rather juvenile line anyway, isn't it? Make-pretend "ninjas" doing vaguely Asian things. Exoticism, but now in plastic! Atleast Oriental Express was meant to evoke imagery of pulp adventure serials. Ninjago is just, well, lame and insulting on more than few grounds.

    The colouring could be a little more muted and less bright. The garish purples and greens takes me out a bit.
