  1. "Really. This is why you summoned me?" These dudes, trained and given elemental powers by the big man Pohatu himself, protect Po-Koto while he's off on business. Skinny Asymmentry over there has a sword. He stabs. Bigmin Mac Widensteen on the other hand, has striker eureka capabilities in his chest and a big glove. We're safe.
  2. kopaka with a hat. kinda lame but your name is the best IN THE NAME OF KING GHIDORAH
  3. eyy yo roly i loved your art so much i made a setmod of pohatu in your style how well did i capture it in your opinion? http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/16526-pohatu-2015-revamp-inspired-by-rolys-art/

  5. Why is people headcanon Gali as trans so offensive to you that you have to speak up against it? Also lol cis is default and terrible wording and language. cis, straight, asian, and male is the default mate that's the largest demographic on earth it's life man you shouldn't tell others to speak differently because MUH FEELANS be a vertebrate!
  6. if she's not trans that is oppression and i'm gonna be reeeeeaaaaaallllyyyyy loud on tumblr if she's not!!!!
  7. by the power invested in me by the state of maryland i close this thread this silly silly thread ps gali is a girl
  8. Thanks! I worked hard on the slum. I really hated how all matoran were portrayed as children all throughout Bionicle's first generation. Too idyllic. I came up with a way to make them "grow" from a childlike form to an adult form, explained here in this excerpt from the story I plugged in the OP. By "grow", I mean they reach a certain level of maturity after an unstated period of time, and then are given the opportunity to rebuild themselves as they see fit for their life, shedding their "post cryoshell" body and becoming a sort of parallel to an adult.
  9. Thanks! Here are some still gritty but less abstract pictures, hopefully you can make out the builds with these. *florp*
  10. I went out and took some pictures of the two protagonists of my story, Sacred Profane, and edited them to look like they were taken with a primitive Po-Koroan silver plate camera. Not much else to it. And some less *artsy* ones so you can make out the construction.
  11. ok i was trapped in an oil painting for a while but now i'm back, gonna update the story soon oh and i changed "toanga" to "tuakana" because toanga sounds dumb and tuakana is maori for "upper", and it's supposed to mean "upper-class"
  12. some of them are a tad chunky but your level of artistic prowess is evident here it's breddy good

Yeah, after reading some comics here and subsequently contracting ebola via sprite comics, I challenged myself to make a quick, coherent story. Tell me if I was successful, please. Also, tell me if you want more! It was really fun to make this. Deacon
  14. Idle Defensive Posture Tamed by Shaman Dondo's Fanged Tuonisar, an old inhabitant of Mata Nui, is a sub-species of tuonisar. It is the only purely land-dwelling tuonisar, yet along evolution's path it has retained its long neck and tail, formerly used to cling to trees. Males, like the one pictured, are endowed with a tangle of wires and cables around the torso that carry healing protodermis that it uses to heal itself, its young, and its mate. Young, and female fanged tuonisars are unable to heal quickly. Only the male has that ability, as it is expected to fight for food and protect its den. "Sar" is an ancient Matoran word for "Serpent", with "tuo" and "ni" meaning fanged and double respectively (ni's direct translation is "a multiple of two"). It was discovered by one of the first founding Turaga, Dondo. On rare occasions, they can be trained to follow and protect you, as demonstrated by the shaman in picture three. //headcanon dump So, what do you think?
  15. Hey, I experimented with some cloth and wire, and ended up with some rather striking ponchos for my beefed up Po-Matoran. Then I went out in the desert and took some pictures of them amidst the creosote and dirt. More pics: http://imgur.com/a/Hqkr1
  16. I've got an idea I wanna run by y'all. I've always found the whole single-gender tribe thing kind of a silly decision, and I'm writing a story that changes a whole load of stuff just because of muh headcanon. So basically, should I make all tribes dual-gender?
  17. Crelt looks really, really good. Mainly because I love orange and that mask, but yeah.
  18. I acquired several '01 sets rather recently, and there's no telling how many black pins I have. I really like the way the MOCs look, though I feel that the torsos are too short, and the legs too long. Well I wanted some gangly, almost cartoonish proportions for the po/onu/ko-matoran. Others, like the Ta, Ga, and Le, matoran will have more humanoid forms.
  19. I see what you mean about the scale, but it's more my style. I like building detailed things, and with scale comes detail. My toa are at least a head taller than the matoran, some that I have planned are as big as titans. My headcanon has diverged quite a bit from Greg's fanfic-tier cave scribblings. Also, I chose the white because, well, White Dune Sea, and the sword is that color because I never bought OG Kopaka, and orange is kiiiiinda like brown so I thought I could get away with it. Yeah I ran out of black pins ;-; Pillaged some old Rakshi for some black pins, the difference is amazing Also, nicer, more somber-toned sword.
  20. Love them! Would elaborate but its been a long day and I'm too tired to. But 9/10, it's ok.
  21. https://www.flickr.com/photos/114035403@N02/sets/72157647895428888/ Going by the alias Garuda, this young Vortixx woman is a pit fighter, dark hunter, mercenary, and recent deserter of the previously mentioned dark hunters. This lady is not one to mess with.
