  1. That'd be interesting to see. Bohrok using CCBS... sounds pretty awesome, I always loved the Bohrok build and would love to see it done in CCBS.
  2. I have longed for Bethesda to make a Bionicle game ever since setting foot in Skyrim. Up to four player co-op would be interesting. Why stop at four player? Why not six, one for each element. :3
  3. I chose Mukau because it sounds better than Mata Nui Cow. :3
  4. I made a MOC only using parts from Protector of Ice and Kopaka (excusing the 2001 Turaga Nuju ice pick). It's currently my profile pic atm, and I definitely suggest using a gear box. Disable the gearbox if you want, but if you want a better looking character (IMO), don't use the normal CCBS endoskeleton body for anymore than attaching the gearbox, armor, and legs.
  5. such a thing exist? Why do I read both of these posts with the most incredibly epic voices I could even imagine in my head -NotS You're not the only one. XD
  6. My local B&N sells a small variety of LEGO sets actually. It wouldn't surprise me if Bionicle was there too.
  7. Hmm... I wouldn't say that. They're definitely different from HF, just because they both use CCBS, doesn't mean they're completely the same. Who knows, maybe the story will be up to par with the previous gen or even better. This is only the beginning, so I personally am not so quick to judge, even though I already love the new sets. Also, I'm a bit uncertain by what you mean in the parentheses part of that statement. Are you saying you were ok with HF one its first year, or gen 2 Bionicle on the first year? If you're ok with gen 2 Bionicle on its first year, then just ignore this post. I was saying that I'm giving a pass that Bionicle is using HF on the first year, because with Hero Factory had used mostly Bionicle parts on its first year as well. Also who ever was editing the Lego site home page, also think they was HF as well They don't use 'HF parts', just because HF was the first line to use CCBS doesn't mean CCBS has to be labeled as the HF building system. I see a lot of people labeling CCBS as HF and I see CCBS being looked down upon because of that, and it's one of my favorite building systems to date, I just don't think it deserves the hate it gets.
  8. While some outsiders may find it weird or childish for adults to play with what's labeled as 'kids toys', I find that these people are actually a lot more social and more interactive than most others. Some people may compare AFOLs to adults that would play with Power Rangers or something like that, but LEGO are something all by itself. LEGO allows the imagination to expand and open up a world of possibilities than most other toys do not. I respect and love the AFOL community and would love to be a part of it some day.
  9. BIONICLE 2015 Hype Train has arrived! :D

  10. Hmm... I wouldn't say that. They're definitely different from HF, just because they both use CCBS, doesn't mean they're completely the same. 11. I recently made my self-MOC (my profile picture atm) that I think resembles Ekimu and Makuta's body structure shown in the trailer (IMO). Also, in the trailer, when they bury Ekimu, he's around the same height as protectors, maybe a bit taller.
  12. I 100% agree with this. Unless it is a rebooted version of him and he has a good reason to be in the story. Then I might be willing to give him another chance in the new story. Can't he just open a portal, walk through and say hi, then leave? Just introduce him as the insane, interdimensional wizard from another universe. That'll go over well! Speaking of jumping through dimensions and Takanuva... if you read the blog, Takanuva explains that he went through multiple universes and dimensions until he got to Karda Nui... maybe he'll pop in and say 'hi'? XD
  13. That last one though... reminds me too much of the Mask of Light movie. Right in the feels!
  14. I'm gonna let the actual topic carry on now while i just sit here and laugh at this statement in particular. Well...it kinda is. Remember here, Friends was mostly for younger girls to get involved with Lego, it's not being necessarily sexist, just stereotypical of what a younger girl might like. Mixels- Meh... they're pretty quirky but cool nonetheless. It's from a show though, so the sets are really just following the show. Ninjago- That's pretty cool, I liked those sets. I mean c'mon, what kid wouldn't wanna be a ninja that could control 1 of 4 elements with 3 other ninjas controlling the others? Chima- I don't have a problem with normal furries, but I do find this anthropomorphic animal thing a bit too much like a furry fanfic. Not to say I dislike it because of that.
  15. Since it's in Gen2 though, we don't know if masks will be useless yet or not.
  16. Right, I understand that, hence the 3rd and 4th options.
  17. I've said this many many many times before and I will say it once more! I want Makuta to be a 'chaotic-good' type character. He helps the toa only to get to his main goal, and at one point may team up with them to defeat a common enemy (sorta like how Optimus Prime teamed up with Megatron to defeat Unicron in Transformers ). I don't want him to be the cardboard cutout, "Blargh, I'm evil and want to destroy the universe." type of guy he was last time. He should be a rogue, willing to help only for his own desires to be reached.
  18. YES!!! I really wish all the past Bionicle games had multiplayer options. They NEED to add this feature to any new Bionicle games that come out NO. Flock off, multiplayer birdies. Too many games have been ruined by forcing multiplayer where it's unnecessary, and Bionicle's epic fantasy does not need a bunch of misguided developers shoving Call of Duty-style multiplayer into it. Yes, the "Six heroes, one destiny" thing that runs through bionicle doesn't make it completely unsuited to multiplayer, but the current gaming industry has forgotten how do to that properly. Single-player sandbox, like "The Elder Scrolls: Okoto" is our best hope for a game that does not rip the wallpaper from BS01 and wrap it around generic gameplay. Bioncle heroes was the gaming industry's take on our beloved franchise. Do you seriously trust them to do another game and not turn it into another "Action-Adventure"? I certainly don't. I do not want to see another BIONICLE AAA game until the entire industry grows out of this obsession with profit and majority demographics. /endrant What about co-op multiplayer like in the other LEGO games from Traveler's Tales? I think that could be a great feature for a BIONICLE game. Not all multiplayer has to be competitive. That'd be pretty cool actually, maybe they could implement up to 6 player co-op (one player per toa)?
  19. Now this is an argument that is going to most likely go down in Lego history... which do you prefer; CCBS or Technic? I honestly love CCBS in combination with Technic because of how smooth CCBS is and how there's so much more customization with it as well as being able to be used in combination with Technic. What're your opinions? (Please nothing harsh or bashing, this is only my opinion and my opinion alone, I'm just wondering what the community thinks)
  20. I'm not so sure about Two-kua being a thing, but who knows. I'd like to see a 2015 version of Takanuva, as Av-Matoran/Toa have always been my favorite.
  21. If you are a master of water but can't breathe under-exactly-that-water-you-can-control... If she can control water, she can create an air bubble around herself whilst underwater, therefore giving her a make-shift underwater breathing ability.
