  1. Hello there! I'm still working on my Metru Nui revamps, and I wanted to post some little improvements I did based on the suggestions I received. Here's Vakama. I've been working quite a bit on his legs and tried to make him better weapons. The Skrall Swords I used on him (http://imgur.com/acgyxOO) looked strange, because he has very few Mata Red pieces and these blades were ruining his darker look a bit. So I decided to replace them with better weapons, and I discovered that Bordahk's blades look quite nice. I also finally found a way to attach his Disc Launcher to his arms, and it's a way simplier than I imagined. Here some additional pics: http://imgur.com/0gDPCAL http://imgur.com/rmLiBrv http://imgur.com/oC2l1sO I changed Whenua a bit too. Now he has even bulkier arms, better refined back and a couple of Kopaka swords on his legs. I also made him a new weapon, it's simple, but I think it looks nice and heavy. I tried to make his design a little bit more "rocky" adding these pieces on his lower arms and that black mace, hope it turned out as I wanted. http://imgur.com/T55Mtlo http://imgur.com/ycRMWJh http://imgur.com/86D8OYL http://imgur.com/fly9hpv (Sorry for the blurry pictures ç_ç) Nokama's turn! As you suggested, I made her more bulkier. Tried to make a bigger chest and waist, to make her look a bit more armored than it was before. I've also redone his upper arms and her crossbow (it was a way too heavy for her to hold it), and created a small katana for melee fights. http://imgur.com/3U289jE http://imgur.com/UBmjIa9 http://imgur.com/DyC54Cc http://imgur.com/gKi0T98 (aaah blurry picture ) I worked a lot on Matau yesterday. I've done a couple of little changes to make his blades able to turn in wings as the original Matau could do, and also made his hands symmetrical. I added black HF armors on his legs and worked on adding some white pieces, and I'm quite satisfied on how his upper legs turned out with these White Minifigure hands attached to his Inika armor. Here's a view of his back: In his regular form: Added also a couple of little axles to make him able to wield his other blades too: Hope you enjoyed these little tweaks, and as always feel free to suggest further improvements! I'm posting a new creation later (it's neither Onewa or Nuju, and it's not a rework of a pre-existing set)
  2. Thank you! I already tried these colors, but I'm not a great fan of lime green, and I didn't want him to look like a "toa of jungle" or "toa of plantlife". I'm working in him right now, and on Nokama aswell. I'll post some updates tomorrow.
  3. Its nice, especially in the first picture. It really looks like a combiner, as Doublebee said. I like his "spider" form more than when it's standing up.
  4. Ehi there! In the past days I had many problems with my Internet Connection, and I had few time to work on my Bionicles. I was able to finish Matau, though, and here he is! Tried to give him a ninja-like appearence, with many black parts and an agile looking body. As Toa Tools, I gave him two blades attached to his arms (I didn't want to break the stealth assassin theme) and two additional twin blades on his waist, and a spiked punch aswell (Ye I know it doesn't look that great, but I had no additional green pieces to use as fingers. I'm planning to replace it with something better) Hope you'll like it! I used a couple of white pieces on this MOC, to give him some little contrast. Still working on him, probably I'll add additional pieces soon. Please make suggestions to improve it, criticism is always appreciated
  5. That hat is very clever. I really like how it looks, great job!
  6. Thanks for the suggestions. Tomorrow I'll post a Update, I improved her waist, her upper arms and made her chest bigger. Also working on a additional weapon :V
  7. Ehi there! Today's Toa Metru is Nokama, which is probably my favourite character in the Bionicle series along with Vakama. She is the only Toa Metru to have a articulated waist, which allows a great poseability, she also has these Kiina pieces on her lower arms and legs, to give her a more unique look. I also used many Visorak feets on all over her body, and her torso is built with many gear-looking pieces. Hope you'll enjoy this MOC! I made her a double barrel Crossbow as Toa Tool. I'm working on additional weapons right now, probably similar to the original ones. I tried to made some kind of quiver on her back to give her a bit of asymmetry. I think it looks kinda cool. As always feel free to suggest improvements Check her on MOCPages too!
  8. Looks amazing! He is well proportioned and he has a cool color scheme
  9. Thank you! Onewa is still a work in progress, mainly because I have very few Brown pieces. Right now he's half red and half brown (which doesn't look bad in fact), but I'm planning to replace the red pieces with black ones. Probably I'll post it after Matau and Nokama, because I still have to work a bit and refine both Nuju and Onewa.
  10. Thank you! I also agree, this one ended up better than Vakama. I placed there a Visorak foot because I wanted to make his head a little bit bigger, without changing mask or using a custom built head (I'm a disaster in making custom heads, Onewa is the only MOC so far that got one, I'll post it tomorrow, maybe)
  11. Hello there! Yesterday I wasn't able to access the forums (homeworks + I was sick ._.), so sorry for the little delay D: Anyways, today I want to show you Whenua, one of my favourite Toa Metru so far. His weapon isn't new, I took it from one of my old MOCs because I loved it ^^ I tried to make him tall, muscular and massive, with big shoulders to clearly show his Toa of Earth strenght. I experimented a new technique on his torso, allowing him to have very wide articulations on the arms/shoulders and a nice posability. For his lower legs I used a Visorak body, to make it a little bit slim and blocky. His legs look straight and simple, and I like how they are built. His arms were quite a pain, because I had almost no black pieces that fit the style I wanted, and I don't like using silver/gunmetal pieces, I wanted him to have one tint (with some grey/light grey gears and bones). Hope you'll enjoy it! Still working to cover these open pins His skeleton: its back is made with a black Rakshi Chest piece [http://fr.bricker.info/images/parts/44136.jpg], while the upper part is just a Metru waist piece. I'm also working on Vakama, here some improvements: I made him a couple of Skrall Blades and rebuilt his arms to make them symmetrical. I also removed his weird chest pieces and replaced them with two Piraka leg armors (couldn't find anything better, but I'm quite satisfied of the results) Still working to make a Kanoka Disc Launcher attachment, it'll probably be on his shoulder. For his back I used a Kindom's Dragon head (that piece came from a Viking boat, can't really remember the number of the set, but I'm 100% it's available in others) and a Barraki head; because I thought that without the Kanoka Disc Launcher on his back it looked too tiny and insignificant with that Matoran Armor. You can find the original one here and here too. Suggestions to improve my MOCs are always appreciated MOCPages Post Edit: Misspelled the title Edit: Spoiler tags for storyline spoilers only, please! Also, fixed the title for you. : P -Wind-
  12. Where's the greedy milk? It looks amazing, nice job!
  13. Looks amazing, I love it! These swords are very cool, and I like so much the build of his torso! His feets could be a little bit bigger, but it's still a brillant MOC. Great job!
  14. Just found this old topic while messing around in the Forums. Dude, this game is amazing. Can't wait to try it, it looks brillant! Awesome work!
  15. Looks very nice, even if it's in a Matoran shape he really looks evil and menacing with those tentacle-like things
  16. Just the Toas for now, but maybe I'll rebuild Nihdiki, Krekka and Lhikhan too
  17. Awh God I want them so bad ;__;
  18. Ye I know :\ I'm running out of balljoints, I can't find them anywhere and I'm forced to take them from my older MOCs... I might consider looking for a bunch of them on Ebay or Bricklink... Thank you! The chestplate might get some improvements, these two round plates are quite too big for him and they fall quite often. I just have to look for better pieces to replace them, and then I'll update it :V
  19. Ehi there! I finally finished building Nuju and Onewa, and I decided to start posting all of them. Here's the first one I built, Toa Vakama! I decided to make him more muscular than the Metru build, to make him look like a skilled warrior. I tried a new style for his torso, and I still don't know if it looks cool or weird. Let me know what you think about it. He's symmetrical, except for his lower arms, which are different because one has the attachments for the Kanoka Disc Launcher, while the other one has a built in blade. I also made him black and dark red to make him harder to spot in the shadows, making him a great stealth ranged killer even without using his Huna. His fighting style consists in becoming invisible to take aim and load his Kanoka Discs, then turning off his mask power and striking the enemies without alerting them. Hope you'll like it! I experimented a bit with this MOC. I made him a slim waist and long upper legs, while making his shoulders, his torso and his feets bigger. I like his proportions, but his articulations aren't that great and it's a bit hard to pose. Hope I'll find a way to fix it. Suggestions are always appreciated, tomorrow I'll post another Toa Metru, probably Matau or Wenua. You can find him on MOCPages too! Edit: Please use spoiler tags for storyline spoilers only. -Wind-
  20. Wow! This MOC is awesome! I love how you used different mask to create the Olisi, and it looks amazing! These shoulders are very cool and they give him a stronger look. His torso is very well built and his upper legs are well proportioned. His arms look a bit weird, but I suppose its ok woth Karzahni. Great job!
  21. Love her skirt and her Blades. I like how you used these transparent axes on that Skull Spider Mask.
  22. Yeah, I knew that these panels could look weird, thanks for the tips!
  23. Hello there! In the past weeks I've been working on some MOCs: I'm rebuilding the Toa Metru. I started with Vakama and Nokama, and I was quite satisfied of my work. Then I built Wenua. I tried to use some new techniques instead of my usual style. And it went pretty well too. I then built Matau and gave him a ninja-like appearence, and then I started Nuju. And with this MOC I started to have some problems. Mainly because I've few white pieces, but because I don't like his Kanohi too. It limits my imagination, and I really don't know why. Maybe it's his robotic eye, that forces me to give him a cyborg appearence, which I don't like, especially when combined with white pieces. I was pretty annoyed, and I started looking for inspiration on the Internet. I saw a great Vahki interpretation on Google, and I thought: "Wow, it looks amazing! I wanna build a Vahki too!" And because of the fact that Bordahk has always been my favourite one, mainly because of the tonfa-like claws and the nice colors, I decided to start working on him. The first step was looking at the original Bordahk. It was a small, short set, with simple legs and even simplier arms, but with a great gear function and a Kanoka Disk Launcher. I tried to make it bulky and short aswell, with long arms and short legs. I don't know why, but I added these Technic orange pieces on the weapon. In the quadrupede form it looks more armored and tankier, but in the biped one they stick out a bit Its back. I attached some random gears to make it look more robotic. There are two on his lower legs too. I used some little orange pieces to make contrast to the dark blue. On the original set the Vahki was almost entirely covered with grey and blue, and I thought it was a pity to waste that color on his trans orange headpiece. I really loved the original gear system, but I wanted to create one by myself. I usually don't work with gears, and this is my first Gearbox, but I'm quite satisfied of the result. Quadrupede form. I made him some shoulderpad armor to make it look like a bulldozzer when in this form. Really don't know what to say about this pose, just liked how the pieces of his legs looked symmetrical and blocky Please let me know what you think, criticism is also appreciated if it helps me to improve a bit Sorry for the not so good quality of the photos, also for my bad editing skills and my english MOCPages post Edit: Please use spoiler tags for storyline spoilers only. -Wind-
  24. Hey there! I'm Petersheikah, I've been following the Bionicle series for a while, but I never thought of registering in a site like this. I've tried to get into the Bionicle lore for a while now, so I decided to join a forum to discuss about our favourite robots. I've heard about BZPower some time ago, I decided to sign in and here I am! Anyways, I know the basic story involving the Toas (the Metru, the Mata, the Inika and all these Toa/Turaga teams) but I missed almost entirely the Comic/Book/Online lore. I don't know almost anything about what happened before the Toa Metru, Lhikhan and the Kanohi Dragon and I also missed the part involvong Karda Nui and the Phantoka/Mistika (hated these sets quite a lot). I tried to explore the Wikia, but there are so many different characters that I never heard about and it's really difficult to me to understand a story if I don't know anything about who's involved with it. Well... Hope I'll learn something new here!
  25. I think it was Takanuva + Makuta pack, but I was just a little kid when I received it as a present. I started with the Bionicle Universe when Vahki amd Metru were introduced. They still are my favourite sets so far, I played with Vakama, Nokama, Matau, Wenua and Onewa A LOT (I hated Nuju because of that weird robotic eye, same thing for Kopaka) Edit: now I remember that my very first sets were the Rakshi, and I loved them too. They looked insanely strong in the movie, and they had that unique reptile style that I always loved. I have like three Lerahk, but I never had a Gurahk. My favourite one is Panrahk.
