  1. Self MOC: https://youtu.be/YqSEo6aNPsg Made a small video to display my self MOC. I did try and fix the legs.
  2. Oh, oops ^^" I'll probably try something better next time Thanks and thank you for commenting. I might do a gap filling trick for my next vid
  3. Heh, I've tried that. It works well too, though it makes the head appear too high ^^"
  4. I normally use the rubberband method when attaching those heads to G2 bodies. What will you be showing? :3 Also, I just finished my self-MOC and got done with a side character in my comic series. Gonna be working on my friend's self-MOC soon too. X3 The vids posted Bionicle Head Moc:
  5. Bionicle Head Moc: https://youtu.be/VyCYElEsgtY I wanted to make a short quick video to start off. I think the vid worked pretty well. I hope it's okay
  6. Bionicle: •CallanLOF (Kinda Ben Cossy too) •iiBionicle •thethreevirtues Non-Bionicle: •Nostalgia Critic •Mumford and Sons •The Fray I have a YouTube too, I'll be posting MOC vids eventually. Carum Sarene
  7. Hahahaha! Now that would be a good reason to purchase him. Though I think every Star wars fan would end up confiscating every Jar Jar set and burn them in a wicker man before we would get a chance to buy it.
  8. I have my studio set up to post my first Bionicle MOC vid. http://i.imgur.com/B73pVCA.jpg I'll be posting a quick one on how to attach Mata Heads to the Gen 2 bodies. Just as a starter
  9. You can fill gaps with the rubber covers on ear buds.
  10. (If I'm allowed to post here?) Self Moc: Caressa http://i.imgur.com/54jedh3.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MbeNZAu.jpg Name: Caressa Type: Toa Element: Plantlife Personality: INFP, Caring, Motherly, Affectionate Mask: Makaya - Mask of Healing Weapon(s): Dagger Tool(s): Staff, Sickle Elemental Powers: Plantlife Weaknesses: •Passive, nonaggressive •Cannot use abilities well when severed from my environment. •Much recharge after each healing session. Backstory: Caressa started as a simple Bo-Matoran living in Karda-Nui. When the great being fell into his deep sleep, Caressa fled into the protodermis sea, slowly floating towards Metru-Nui as the fluid slowly changed the young matoran into a toa. Arriving on Metru-Nui, Caressa learned the toa powers she possessed. Not just to control Plantlife, but to heal creatures and structures of injury. Meeting the toa Hordika, Caressa healed them of any injuries the Hordika received from the Visorak, in exchange they keep Caressa's influence mum. She detested the spotlight of stories. Caressa continued to live in Metru-Nui as the time passed. When the Matoran, Turaga, and Toa returned to Metru-Nui, Caressa again assisted in returning Metru-Nui to its glory. When the great spirit reawoke, Caressa was overjoyed, and when the Makuta attacked she protected the matoran at all costs. One named Kalena even standing by the Toa's side. The two becoming instant companions since.
  11. Jar Jar Binks. But make it that his pieces never stay together.
  12. Thank you And a matoran companion sounds nice. Maybe we can make matoran companions a thing with Plantlife Toa I was thinking of making a Chronicler's Company-esque group of Matoran, plus a couple extra Toa, to make a resistance team of sorts.Well I'll be posting a how-to post on building my toa. It'll include how I create the palette, so maybe you can find use for it
  13. Sorry to go off topic but I'm thinking about getting Le-Koro or Ko-Koro first... ...the first out of all of them... Of all of them, I actually like the Po-Koro one the most. EDIT: I just realized that "Kolhii" is spelled wrong on the Le-Koro one. Treespeak is a difficult dialect for some to interpret I figure we name our teams based on the cultural focus of the towns we represent. Philadelphia Carvers Pittsburgh Mask Makers New York Firespitters
  14. Anyway, great find. I never thought to make this connection. Now to Photoshop Greg's face to Dr. Smith and we'll be set
  15. No problem! I love making MOClets, experiments to see what works and how pieces fit together. Always a fun way to pass time.
  16. Thank you And a matoran companion sounds nice. Maybe we can make matoran companions a thing with Plantlife Toa
  17. The waist articulate is a nice touch. However, the body does have a lankiness and is very gappy. To fix this, try working on the body one part at a time rather than the entire thing at once. Look at all the tahu versions to see how the body should work. Don't just rely on CCBS, try to find a way to meld Technic, Bionicle, and CCBS together in a way that gives a more natural look.
  18. Good luck ^v^ I'll be trying to change jobs, then once I can get less hours I'll start hosting my own games
  19. Thanks for the comments! When it comes to making a color scheme, I prioritize what colors are more important. Then pre-assign which colors go where. I'll switch out the gold armor, sure. Though I'll just update this post instead of making another revamp thread. The reason the bones for the legs are solid black is because I needed long pieces which I only have in black. In fact, the lower arms where originally meant to be black too, but I changed them to trans green to represent the elemental energy flowing into the hands.
  20. Deep in the jungles of Spherus Magna, Caressa returned to her hut from the long trek to the Eastern Agori tribes. The air was quiet and dark, lit only by the fireflies and the lantern perched above the Toa's doorway. Entering inside, she saw Kalena perched in the center of the room, clinging to her staff in protection. "Kalena, what are you doing?" Caressa sighed, smiling at the small matoran. Kalena's wide eyes looking back; "I-I was protecting your home..." Kalena yawned. "How long have you been keeping watch?" "Hours..." Caressa sat next to Kalena and cradled the young one in her arms. "You need rest, young one." Caressa smiled, Kalena returned with a yawn. "But I'm not tired... Toa don't sleep..." Caressa knew that continuing the debate would lead to ceaseless arguing, and so decided to sing her lullaby: ♪"Through the forests we walk, our hands holding tight. Don't worry of shadows, for I'll be your light. I'll be your comfort, your warmth in the cold. Just give me your love, I'll hold onto your soul."♪ Caressa continued to sing, the song reminding her of her time as a matoran. The Av-Matoran who sang this song to her now long gone. Her tears dropped onto Kalena as Caressa rocked her in her arms. The young matoran now fast asleep. "I'm never letting go."
  21. He looks very nice. I just recently revamped mine. Our MOCs can go on an adventure
  22. I'll be a toa. I already have elemental powers so being a toa would come easy to me
  23. A proper critique isn't just about saying bad things about something. It has to be a balance of both good and bad views. For each bad thing you point out, you must either note a good thing or give advice or suggestions on how to improve. Otherwise your critique will be seen as hate and pose no value to either to original poster or the other viewers. This is a great moc, especially for the size. It isn't easy to make Bionicle figures of that scale but you did great. If the hands look too big, a Y-Joint is always good. Here, the hands look a little disproportionate. Not enough to throw the model off, but it is a nitpick to the more detail oriented. Other than that, you did well. I wish you good luck in the challenge.
