  1. I'm just seeing these for the first time. Pretty cool if you ask me. I want the set with the purple zamor sphere. I also hope to get one of those little insectoid aliens and stick its' head on another minifig's body.
  2. Good stuff. The Matoran's view of the disappearing bodies is especially interesting. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Will do. Just as a heads-up, it will be at least a week before I have enough money.
  4. I have been a member of BZPower for almost a decade, and for all my BIONICLE daydreaming, I have no epics, short stories or comics to show for it. I think I've only ever posted one MOC, and though I draw a lot of BIONICLE-related stuff, I've never scanned any of it onto the computer.By the gods, one day I will become a more active member! I swear it!
  5. No problem about Skrall. Could you hold Tarix and Gelu for me, and Malum if he's available?
  6. How much to ship Gelu, Tarix, and Skrall without the boxes? I live in California.
  7. The photographs really bring each MOC to life. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Someone posted a story like this back in 2003. If I remember correctly, it ended with Lewa, Onua and Pohatu being the only three Toa to survive the final battle with Makuta. They succeed in awakening Mata Nui, and "in a voice like tinkling bells," the Great Spirit declares that everything is right again, and the Matoran can go back to their eternal labor of building war machines used to conquer the universe. Mata Nui then kills the three remaining Toa.I remember it only because it creeped me out back when I read it as a kid.
  9. An interesting development! Just hope these serials get written someday. I'd really like to see the part where the good guys discover this GB's true identity, and how they would react.
  10. So many awesome MOCs!! Can't believe I still haven't made it to one of these events.
  11. It's hard to choose. Spider-Man, for his acrobatics and relatable personality? Iron Man, for his genius inventions and witty comments? Captain America, for his patriotism and old-fashioned nobility? My favorite is actually the Hulk. I always had a soft spot for "gentle giant" characters, and I find him the most sympathetic hero, since all he wants is to be cured and live a normal life. I also think that everybody's had a time in their life when they wanted to smash everything and be left alone, just like he does. I like that deep down, he really does have a heart of gold, and that even when he's really mad, he avoids hurting innocent people. His powers aren't too shabby, either.
  12. I have been using the second method posted by BioGio for years. It works great.
  13. Here's a new hypothesis for you guys:Murderer? The Shadowed One. Motive? Eliminating competition so the Dark Hunters can rule Spherus Magna. This guy's been trying to take over the world for centuries. The only thing stopping him before was the Brotherhood of Makuta, and now that they're wiped out, he figures the Dark Hunters will replace them as the dominant power. First order of business is taking out anyone powerful enough to stand in their way-- it started with Karzahni and Tren Krom, and now he's targeting more potential rivals. I can think of an easy way for him to rescue Lewa: Send a Dark Hunter to take care of those Agori. It would make sense that the leader of one of the most powerful organizations out there wouldn't just be sitting around twiddling his thumbs when there's a whole planet to conquer. And I find his absence after discovering those vials suspicious. Who's to say he hasn't gotten his hands on something really powerful? Not that he couldn't have killed Karzahni and Tren Krom on his own. He's pretty powerful already.Thoughts? I'm still leaning towards Takadox to be honest, but I thought I'd throw this out there since the discussion had slowed down.
  14. Just so you know, bonesii, that part disturbed me too. It is kinda creepy that the Toa never seemed bothered by it.
  15. That's a great observation about Takadox and his hypnosis power. Also, I figure that there may be old GB technology lying around on Spherus Magna. Being rather intelligent, Takadox could have found some super-weapon of theirs and started using it to carry out his killing spree.
  16. The Makuta never did get beaten by the Toa Nuva, though, because their goal was to stall them, not kill them. Antroz's group were killed by the energy storms or by each other. The remaining Makuta were killed by Great Spirit Teridax or by OoMN members, who can be pretty powerful themselves. Zaria and Tobduk managed to kill a few only because they used methods the Makuta were extremely vulnerable to. I agree that Tobduk killed Tridax way too easily, though. Also keep in mind the Makuta basically did rule the universe until they got wiped out. Gorast ruled a whole island, Chirox destroyed Tobduk's homeland just as a test, and Icarax effortlessly squashed the Toa Nuva when they fought him in Karzahni. For a long period, they basically were the gods you described.

  18. I totally overlooked Takadox. I find it suspicious that he's been absent for so long. With all that's happened since his last appearance in 2008, no one but the OoMN would really be concerned with with his disappearance. Another idea, pardon if anybody's already put it forth -- Vultraz. If he found some way to escape or bargain with the alternate Great Beings, he could've easily found a way back to his universe using their technology or an alternate Olmak. After stealing their knowledge, he could find one of their fortresses in the main universe Spherus Magna and use it to take down all these victims. There are a lot of good guesses on here. I really hope we get a big revelation when the story starts back up.
  19. Return of the original helmets! And we get to see Rocka and Evo's 1.0-style helmets! New gun pieces! Teal pieces! I gotta get me one of these. I hope so bad when BIONICLE comes back that the characters are recognizable, like with these sets.

    Funny T-shirts

As a freshman in high school I used to wear this shirt that said "Respect my peeps" and had a picture of some marshmallow Peeps-- a common type of candy given to friends and family to celebrate Easter here in the US. By the time I got into college, I had seen enough of those so-called "witty" T-shirts, and decided they were too cheesy for me to wear. I got rid of the Peeps shirt, and recently had a silent laugh when I saw an adult at my college with that same shirt I had worn as a dorky high school freshman. Some of those joke T-shirts can be quite funny, though. When I did wear them, I'm pretty sure people tried to one-up the jokes on mine too, though I can't think of a specific example.
  21. Your sig is hilarious. xD

  22. Hey, thanks. I might try some more experiments like that in the future, just need some more free time. It'd be cool to make a weapon or vehicle with it.

    So I Did

Dude, I must say that this is an awesome piece of work. The scene with the man swimming was especially well-written and engaging. And I love it whenever the title of the story appears within the writing. I'm gonna have to check out some of your other stuff.
