  1. Yeah, Pit is fail, though I think Yoshi and ROB are worse. As they should be. You fail, man. True, Ike is absolute WIN (as he should be), but Marth does have his merits. That Final Smash... But... I cleaned. That's exactly what I did, yet nothing compared to something Lai did - he set himself (as Meta Knight) against three CPU players, all on 99 lives. He came second to the CP Diddy Kong. Uh, no. That was my entire day. I obviously left some huge blanks.
  2. Visionary, that is, spamming up this guy's comments.

  3. Uh, speak English, Xaeraz. That URL got nowhere.

As for that other guy: Oh.

  4. Oh that's nice, spamming up the comments. :P

  5. That's exactly what I did with Kite Runner - read it so many times it's not funny. Fortunately, I didn't have to study it in any way. Fact of the day: Studying a book in school makes it far less appealing, partially because it's practically shoved in your face... repeatedly... for ten weeks. English class single-handedly obliterated any interest in Shakespeare's works I used to have.
  6. ....You're older than me? That rarely occurs in comic makers that aren't Australian or from New Zealand. :P

  7. Not exactly the most interesting of days. First, I spent some time playing Brawl. What happened was epic; I put Marth and a level-9-difficulty Ganondorf on 25 lives each and then set them on the Bridge of Eldin. I was playing as Marth, obviously. () Wouldn't you know, ten Critical Hits later, Marth came out as the winner. The downside? I wasn't given the option of recording that epic win. Next, shortly after my mother left to walk the dogs, I took the liberty of vacuuming the "rumpus room". For those who don't know (i.e. all of you), it's a room separate from the main house, generally used to hold all my LEGO. I'd cleaned it three weeks ago, as my mother said she'd vacuum it, but as that got nowhere, I did it myself. I pretty much tore it apart, moving the lounge, armchairs, and a coffee table. Woot. After that, I decided to try some MOCing for a while. I had a design in mind, based on a drawing I randomly did at midnight last night. It got nowhere. Some time later, I started rebuilding the Phantoka, merely to accompany/own Icarax. It took me so long to scrounge up all of Chirox's pieces, and I just didn't bother with Vamprah. Following that, more Brawl. I proceeded to absolutely own Classic Mode - on easy with Ike (), normal with Marth and Zelda, and hard with Samus. I think I'll try Easy with Samus, in order to get the Zero Suit Samus trophy. And that pretty much led to right now, around 9:00. That's my day. Pity me.
  8. Now that's impressive. I really want it to see it in colour...
  9. That's probably one of the best quotes in the history of TV. Pity I didn't get to it first...
  10. There's 8 characters from Mario, yet only 1 from Metroid! OUTRAGE. Yeah, more polls for who to take. And go find my approval. You earned. (check Tahuri's blog) Yeah, that does seem really cheap. Perhaps Nintendo thought they compensated with Zero Suit Samus and throwing Ridley in as a Subspace Emissary boss. I still think it's a raw deal. I really should play a Metroid game soon... And I got the approval (obviously). That might be partially because I'm the only member of BZPower who is that insanely devoted to the Fire Emblem series, and who started playing by having Lyn hack everything in sight. But that's not the first I heard of it. On some Fire Emblem forum (which I won't name here, partially because I forget what it is), people were complaining about it. It's still one of the most disturbing things I've ever heard. Trivia: When they designed Marth for Melée, they probably didn't have much to work with; only NES and SNES game sprites, and a dodgy animé which referred to him as "Mars".
  11. Personally, I can't blame you. I still follow the story, but compared to even Metru Nui, it's pretty bad. The thing that made me REALLY wake up was seeing the travesties that are the Phantoka and Mistika Toa Nuva. That made me think. And so I decided that next year, unless it turns out to be absolutely brilliant, I won't bother with the sets anymore. In the meantime, I'll just get Onua, Takanuva and the Rockoh, and that'll do me nicely. Needless to say, I won't leave BZP, and I'll just keep MOCing and creating my own stories to distract me from the real thing. "I reject your reality and substitute my own". Your complaints are well-founded, and undoubtedly mirrored throughout BZPower. But you do have a point with the parts. Imagine what I can do with two black Hordika armparts, two Kraahkans, and four of Antroz's claws. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go and reminisce about the 2001 story.
  12. I bought him today. And I'm reasonably impressed. Here's why. Obviously. His shield is good. It's a pretty neat design, making good use of the old Hordika arm. Though it's not the nicest-looking of parts, it can be easily hidden behind the shield. His legs are of a great design. I never thought the Visorak-foot thing would work, but it did. And of course, the joints are ingenious, fulfilling what was attempted on Ultimate Dume in 2004. (Now, I am the master.... ) The claws work well, too. The wings are attached nicely too; haven't seen that before. Simple but effective. WATCH N LERN VAMPRAH!! The downside? Everything else. From the waist up, he's just too unarmoured. His legs are nicely kitted out and protected, but everything else is too thin and unarmed. No wonder Ignika owned him. () ToM had the right idea with the spike shoulder armour (see this entry in his blog). The other main issue is his green eyes. He needs orange, to uniformify with the others. Was it too hard to reforge that eye style in orange? Those issues aside, I still like.
  13. The Wii, no questions asked. Seriously, it's got the original motion-sensitive controller; Sony and Microsoft cheaply imitated them afterwards. It's sort of cuteish, appealing to all ages, and the ability to download old NES, SNES, N64 and Sega titles is WIN, assuming what you want is there already. Then there are the games. With such games as Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, that Metroid game, Twilight Princess, Pokémon Battle Revolution, (insert Kirby game here), and the crowning Super Smash Bros Brawl, there is no contest. That, and Ike runs rings around the mascots of the others. AETHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I say Wii. Wii. Wii. Wii. Now, time for some more Brawl...
  14. You're Australian, too? Whoa, we're everywhere! Okay, so it's not that long, but there are quite a few bad ones. Finding NemoChicken LittleHigh School MusicalHigh School Musical 2High School Musical 3High School Musical - The Ice TourHigh School Musical 4Pretty much anything else based on the above
  15. Was the above thing awesome or what? What do you think of BBC 50? It's doomed to collapse when the operators realise that half of those people have left BZP... Where are you in your education? Halfway through Year 10. What year's set designs did you like most? 2001, no questions asked. I don't care about public opinion; the Rahi were win. Should there be six questions? Yes, there should. ...Because there already is?
  16. A blog... being used... as a blog? This is a concept I cannot understand. Please enlighten me.
  17. Take it from someone who's still dealing with it. IT'S BASICALLY NOTHING. And Takuma is trying to scare you or something. Having said that, I barely notice them RIGHT NOW.
  18. Now, you all remember my failed attempt to recruit people for the Unknown Turaga movie? You know, the one everyone blatantly spammed in? Yes? Good. This is a sort of deviation of that. As you probably know if you're a regular at the Emporium (which you should be), I'm making the final chapter of Land of Dragons a voice-acted, animated short. I also intend to do that on several occasions throughout LIGHT and the eventual Unknown Turaga III. The first planned animated chapter is Chapter 8. The problem is role-filling. I've got DudeNuva set on two roles, and myself on another two. But after that, two more need filling. Both of these happen to be female roles - Enira and Hev. Now, they just so happen to be major characters - well, Enira more so than Hev. Effectively, giving them no lines in an episode isn't exactly viable. And so, as I said, I urgently require a female voice actor or two. And I mean urgently. If you're a girl and you're interested, comment here saying which role you want, and I'll get back to you when I get to that bit. And yes, you can apply for both roles; that'll just make things easier. And, uh, stopping by the Emporium will certainly improve your chances of getting the job.
  19. You did a decent job of trimming it down. That "Time Lapse" thing was rather amusing. Maybe if you'd trimmed the credits to something that rolls quickly but is still legible, you could've stuffed more in there. The credits music in this version sounds rather dodgy, I hate to say. But at least the whole thing got me laughing. One thing I've noted: my Vezok sprites don't look quite as demented as they originally did; that pose with both his arms up worked out better than I thought.
  20. What is this "love" of which you speak? But at any rate, what you have described is an art lost to the X-Box.

Old news. But I've started bugging people about it, too. X-Box of Doom? What's new, then?
  22. Yeah, hi. I don't think we've got Wall-E here yet. But I don't think I'll bother; Disney has disappointed far too frequently lately.
  23. They really should've made him tan or something. That still looks vaguely yellowish, and it would have make us zealots happy. But it's far too late now. Hmm... I think that in SSB4, they should run some popularity poll and throw in the more popular Lords, and keep Marth no questions asked. Lyn, Hector, and Ephraim would all be WIN. *pictures Hector shattering Samus's armour* Music-wise, there's SO much good choice. It's not so strange; think about how many Mario characters there are in it.
