  1. I would have a gukko and an ussal crab.

I would travel the world with them and earn money as a travelling story teller and performer. I would practice my craft constantly and meet tons of new people.

Not to mention they are both adorable.

The gukko shall be named Evanna and the ussal shall be Cecilia.

    Windfly~

  2. I think I would get along well with Lewa.

He's always doing something and he generally likes being active. I need more of that in my life, so we would probably be gym partners. Le Koro is also known for its music, so maybe he could play an instrument? I play flute, so I would love to jam out with him sometime.

Also he seems fairly sociable and nice. I bet he would encourage me to do things generally outside my comfort zone. Not only that, but he seems generally happy. I would so take that quality in a friend any day!

On the other hand, I would generally get sick of Tahu's attitude, Gali is a bit too encouragement poster for my taste (but we'd probably get along fine other than that), Kopaka is just no, Pohatu seems nice I guess... maybe?, Onua is too reserved and Matoro is dead.

  3. Oh my gosh, Nate has advanced a stage. This does not fare well with my plans...

-cough-ulations! I know there's a bear pun in here somewhere, but I am at a loss, unfortunately.

Also, HH, enjoy your retirement. Feel free to borrow my lawn at any time to yell at unsuspecting whippersnappers. Thanks for everything you contributed over the years!

Edit: "and Lin that he's still a dork"

Okay, how did I miss this? Also you misspelled duck, ya doof. =P

  4. I ended up sacrificing Matoro

My Matoro beat me to it... =P

But, yes, I have had many issues with sets from 06 onwards where their limbs would break. Some of them even broke when I first put the set together. My Tahu Star's set had both ends of the socket for his leg broken so I can't even put him completely back together. It was too late at the time it happened to order a replacement piece, so now he is forever hopping along to save the day.

Even so, I have never had this problem with slizers or from any sets between 01 through 05.

  5. Actually there is a way to color chocolate without actually adding dye to it. I know that moisture is a huge detriment to chocolateering, so adding gel is pretty risky to begin with. There are actually some cocoa butter sprays which I have used before. I used green ones for leaves, but I`m sure that you could find all sorts of colors. It`s just like spray painting chocolate, only it is edible. I`m pretty sure Wilton makes them. You might have to order it because I don`t think stores would carry it unless they have a good cake decorating section. Personally I would not spray the pocky, but it might come in handy for the helmet.

I`m not too sure if they would make chocolate melts in the deep blue that Benny has, and adding in more coloring could help get it out of a pastel color, but it still might not get it quite dark enough.

Edit: Note on chocolateering: Just realized you were using white chocolate. Instead of melts, you might just want to use white chocolate chips or bar chcoclate that was not altered for quick melting. White chocolate by itself can call for adding a little water to get it to melt. I haven't tried dying it before, so I'm not sure if it would work fabulously, but it might help to add dye to it. Of course that would mean you would have to temper it properly which means you'd need a good thermometer and it could be more of a hassel...

Also, that filling sounds really good. What kind of cake was it? White or yellow?

I have yet to work with rhubarb, really, so that flavor is still new to me.

Second edit: Okay, after a few searches, Wilton's product is called Color Mist. Actually I kinda want to pick up some for my very late birthday cake I wanted to make. Anyway, it doesn't look like they make dark blue color mist, just sky blue. However, I did see some search results for dark blue color melts which appear to be the correct hue for Benny. So, I would try to find those, though I'm not sure what stores would carry them.

  6. The blue pocky was a nice touch.

Really cool idea to make your own cake stand out of Lego bricks too! The helmet and his face were neatly done too, although I think the blue could have been a darker shade for color accuracy to the character.

    Looks delicious.

  7. I love the details on the Hylian Shield! Link is easily recognizable as a character and to have a set of weapons for him really adds to the feel of the game series. A Navi figure would probably help with the overall feel, but it's already pretty great as is.. Edit: hah, I didn't notice Navi the first time I viewed this. Sorry for that.

Ganondorf does look a bit off in terms of his personality coming through as you've mentioned. I think if you gave him a black cape it would help as he did have one in the game if I remember correctly. The one from Vezon and Fenrakk could work if you have it (though it might be a bit small on him)

  8. I still collect LEGO to this day. I have no plans to get rid of my collection in the near or distant future as of yet.

In the long run, I don`t see myself having kids, but if that does happen, I will allow them to play with my sets so long as I feel they are old enough. I do have a plan to just save my things from childhood, even outside of LEGO and show them to my kids and/or my brothers` kids and show them what life was like when we were growing up. I would assume my sets would follow in that course of action.

For now, however, it is a continued source of inspiration for me, and I see no reason to discontinue my hobby.

  9. Interesting. I noticed you started with a ballad, but I am unfamiliar with the structure after the "That is just a fantasy." line, so I didn't know how to read it properly.

Still, pretty good. I liked the theme of Voya Nui at the end and although I didn't pick up on what it was, I like that the style changed when it switched to the Piraka. Kinda made it feel like a foil to the start of the poem.

  10. I got INFJ

    A fellow infajig! 8D

Yeah, I looked it up and apparently INFJ is the rarest personality type. Only around 1-3% of the population is associated with this type.

Also apparently we are pandas according to that lovely chart above. Also Ben Kenobi. I say we use our wisdom and the force to become the ultimate Panda Jedi warriors on this site.

  11. INFJ

    Introvert(56%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(12%) Judging(44%)

    • You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
    • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
    • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (12%)
    • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

Not sure what all of this means. The quiz itself was highly vague and I feel like if you didn't answer one way, it would consider it as scoring it the other way. Like preferring strong emotions over thinking things through. I selected no, but that was because I felt both were important to consider when making a decision. I suppose that might actually show in my results as the difference is slight. Still, I am not too sure what to make of the percentages.

After reading the in-depth description I feel it is a bit hit or miss with me. I do enjoy writing and I can express myself better on paper than other communication at times, but I do not have any interest in politics and I don't consider myself a humanitarian. There have been times in my life where I have shut out people almost entirely, but it wasn't just because of my personality. I do have a select few friends that I trust to talk to and sort out my feelings with and I am not the most trusting person when it comes to friendship, but I also do have aquantences and I like them. I feel like the description might be somewhat accurate, but not precise. It's not something I will take to heart, but this was interesting to say the least.
