  1. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro Rannin sure doesn't mess around, Ra’lhen observed. “Yeah… I can’t get behind it either. That mask has enough lenses at it is.”
  2. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro Ra’lhen conjured a mental image of Farzan’s suggestion and it almost made him snicker – sometime like that would have looked horrible in the Toa’s opinion. While Ra’lhen hardly considered himself a fashion guard, he did internalize some of the philosophies and beliefs from his wealthy friend Wokapu. Sunglasses were supposed to be suave. Aesthetics mattered more than effectiveness. Of course, the Kanohi Akaku naturally went against everything the concept of ‘style’ stood for. Its design was all function. The jury was out as far as whether those counted as shallow observations. “I probably wouldn’t buy one, but hey, whether keeps the sun out of your eyes, right?” Ra’lhen said.
  3. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Hospital The reporter gave a supporting smile. “An entrepreneur? My brother used to be one of those. Made a lot of money for both of us, but did awful things – well, in my opinion – in return. We’re both safe and out of that life, and I hope the success of your ventures are don’t turn you morally astray. It’s frighteningly easy for that to happen.” Wokiya continued, “You said you were just passing by the Inn. Did you see anything out of the ordinary? And how many guards do you remember being in that area?”
  4. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Hospital Wokiya had no idea, but she would not let herself convey that to Mekana. “You’ll be fine because you’re a tough Toa of Fire who isn’t going to let some bored folks ruin your life,” Wokiya said with a steely, confident voice. “So you said you were just passing by the inn when the explosion happened?” Wokiya asked, already taking notes and quotes down on her tablet, “Do you live here in Ta-Koro?”
  5. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Hospital Cake? Nope, not gonna beg before even asking my first bundle of questions, Wokiya thought, keeping herself from inquiring about food. It had been some time since she’d last eaten, and she had wondered how many of the cafes were affected by the village lockdown. “I can definitely relate to the discounts, though mine were more likely given because of fear than friendship” Wokiya shrugged and looked at Mekana with an understanding expression. She sauntered over to her from the doorway. “I cannot imagine the utter Karzahni that you have gone through. But you look like you’re going well,” Wokiysa said, reaching over putting a hand on Mekana’s arm. I was hoping you would be able and willing to share your story and thoughts about what happened today. I work for the Mata Nui Daily, and I think the people of this island need to know the truth from citizens on top of whatever the government is bound to say to cover their butts “But I must ask first: how are you feeling?”
  6. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro The Ga-Matoran giggled. “Thanks, Mekana” She walked in, eyeing both the Fire Toa and the male Toa that stood to the side. “I presume you two have known each other for awhile?”
  7. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro “You look like you could weather the Po-Koronan hustle if you needed to. No need to guilt me,” Ra’lhen said with lighthearted grin that implied that he was not bothered, “After all, I have an entire town’s worth of folks like you to protect now. But as friends, it’d be awesome to have someone to exchange droll observations with while touring the town square.
  8. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro Ra’lhen chuckled at the Matoran’s response. He certainly had an engaging personality. So far, most people here seemed to be the look-down, keep-everything-in type of people. Farzan must’ve had a really good life. “I will if I get the chance,” the Toa answered. “I just accepted my position today and there’s so much I have to do to get settled in to this village. Ra’lhen halted himself from shivering at the thought of taking residence in Po-Koro of all places, living amongst the people he hurt so deeply. But then again, the village was more of a town than just a village as it was in the times of Makuta. Ra’lhen had seen so many faces passing by him that did not seem to recognize the odd-color Vo-Toa. Maybe Ra’lhen’s positive aura was finally revealing some charisma. Or maybe these people just weren’t around on that night so long ago.
  9. OOC: I was hoping you’d say that. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Hospital The young Ga-Matoran gingerly stepped through the hallway, peering through the windows and around doors for occupants. As she walked, her large purse, now containing just her blank tablets and chisels, swung freely from her right shoulder. So far, Wokiya had only found one conscious occupant, and they were admitted to this hospital before the destruction of the Lavapool Inn. Wokiya made no mistake though: this hospital was packed, and its quiet and restful aura betrayed that truth. Then, a voice cut through the calming silence. “Hey...hey...hey...hey...can I borrow some money?” Not thinking twice, Wokiya made a beeline for the source of the voice, grateful that she wouldn’t have to wake any of the patrons here. Though when she thought about it, their stories were bound to be interesting and a testimony is a testimony, no matter the mental state of the eyewitness. As Wokiya got closer, she then learned that there were two voices in the room. “Oh yeah? Well the root of all evil is gonna pay my hospital bill!” said the voice Wokiya had heard before. “Ta-Koro instituted free healthcare not long ago,” replied the more measured voice of a second. That was when Wokiya threw caution to the wind and walked into the entryway. “He’s telling the truth,” Wokiya said to the one in the hospital bed. “I fear for what Jaller had to sacrifice for it, but for now you don’t need to worry about frugality. It’s on the house” Wokiya deftly hid her expression of surprise under a look of sincere concern and helpfulness. She could’ve sworn that the voice came from a Matoran, but before her, resting on the bed was a Toa of Fire. “My name is Wokiya,” the Ga-Matoran said to both of the Toa while raising her lightly bandaged arm, “The explosion got me too. May I come in? I’ve been looking for someone to talk to. Someone who may have seen more than I did”
  10. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro “Sounds like a fair deal to me,” Ra’lhen said with a jesting wink. With his strength joined with the strength of the Iron Toa, it look little strain for the cart to be moving at a steady, comfortable pace. “My name is Ra’lhen,” the red and blue Toa said, “Pleasure to meet you, Farzan. You too Kreff” As they continued pushing, Ra’lhen looked back at Farzan, “So what kind of masterpieces have you been contracted to make? I’m wondering if there new tech that I’ll have to learn on my feet in the coming weeks”
  11. Well okay like it or not the gundam-style MOCs are all well-executed. I voted for entry 2. I liked entry 3 as well, but the second entry looked a little cleaner, if that makes any sense.
  12. I'm not fan of gundams, but even with that I have to appreciate how solidly built entry 8 is. That one has my vote. Entries 2 and 6 get honorable mentions from me as well (I know they help little, but it's the best I can do).
  13. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Must be busy, Wokiya thought as she bowed in thanks and resumed her walk to the hospital. It was in eyesight now and it would only be a few moments before she was inside and transferred to the resting area, where survivors were likely to be to tell their story. As she walked she wondered how many medics there were outside the hospital watching and looking for the wounded that were scattered around this village. Hospital There was an obvious look of tiredness hidden by genuine concern and empathy on the clerk’s face. The Matoran looked about middle age, and a tablet rested on the dull grey, stone desk. “Name?” the clerk asked Wokiya. “Wokiya. Of the Mata Nui Daily,” the Ga-Matoran answered gently, “I just want to get this arm checked out” She showed the clerk the bandaged arm casually. The clerk examined it for a few seconds and looked back up at Wokiya. “Looks like only a graze, but we’ll get you processed,” the clerk said, “Just fill out this tablet, if you can” “No problem,” Wokiya took the tablet and chisel and walked off and had a seat in the surprisingly not crowded waiting area. ------------ Once Wokiya was placed in her room, she waited for the nurses to leave before slipping out behind them. Eyewitnesses had to be behind every one of these doors, and she would listen to their stories. OOC: Open for interaction.
  14. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro Ra’lhen chuckled and smiled in response to the (by his measure) impudent plea. It really didn’t bother the Toa very much though. Neither he nor the Toa of Iron seemed to regard him with any noticeable fear or contempt, and that was awesome enough for him. “I’ll gladly help you and your friend as well,” Ra’lhen said, getting up. “Show us to your cart”
  15. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro Hmm, he probably doesn't know where Hafu's resting place is. Though if he has stayed here long enough, he might. Ra'lhen thought. Now however, he was curious about this Toa on the steps. The red and blue Toa smiled back, an expression now mixed with a dash of curiosity. “Must be exciting,” Ra’lhen replied, “It is a secret job that you have? I just became a guard – or ‘Sentinels’ as they’re called now – a few hours ago”
  16. IC: Ra’lhen – Po-Koro The contrite Toa of Electricity had received his armor and was now on his way. He wouldn’t be put on the watch today. He was given three days to get settled in to his new home. To say that this would be an adjustment was understatement. Ra’lhen’s thoughts and feelings quarreled with one another as he tried to acquiesce his decision to become a Sentinel for the village where his worst crimes were committed. However, he knew where his Duty laid. Ra’lhen had to prove to these people, and perhaps, to Mata Nui himself, that he had the will and integrity to become the hero that he knew he was destined to be. He was walking down the street when he noticed a peculiar looking Toa. So really any more peculiar than Ra’lhen looked with his mutated pigmentation, but something about this one’s appearance stood out to him. Ra’lhen wondered if he was a local, and walked up to the resting Toa. “Pardon my intrusion, sir,” Ra’lhen said politely, “Are you a local here?”

Yeah, some wallets are gonna be pillaged again today. Fortunately for me, I'm not the biggest fan of the Assassin's Creed series (couldn't get into the story), so that sale I may be able to resist. In fact, looks like today I might get a day off. I'll have to check the flash sales again tonight though.
  18. I'm happy that at least some of the games I bought were on the "to-play" list anyway (I've just been procrastinating). The rest of them however... I'm going to be very entertained for the next few months. And look at it this way: you won't be bored for awhile.

^ As said by my wallet. Yeah, that's right. They got me too. Batman: Arkhan Origins BioShock Infinite TES: Skyrim Mirror's Edge Saints Row IV Serious Sam (all the games) Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Dragon Age: Origins DmC Devil May Cry ... AND COUNTING! (This money is supposed to go towards adult things!!) <- also my wallet.
  20. You can download any of them. Each download is self contained if I recall correctly. This game does bring back old memories Still gotta close it though.
  21. IC: Wokiya – Ta-Koro Wokiya seemed to not be concerned with that in the slightest. “It’s only a graze. The priority is getting to that hospital and seeing what the people there have to say,” Wokiya said, “The staff over there should be able to better clean it anyway.” As soon as they were against a wall, away from where people were running in open expense of the village, Wokiya slung down her large, auburn, Kane-Ra-skin purse. “I’ll let you get to work, Doc”
  22. IC: Wokapu – Po-Koro “And when he does, he and his friends will get pulverized,” Wokapu said with confidence, “Great Spirit knows how many Toa around here are overly eager to lay down some ‘justice’. Or just beat up some guys in the night” One thing that had always bothered the Toa of Air a little bit was how overly vigilant some of his supposed colleagues seemed to behave when tasked with being a hero. Perhaps Wokodin had something to do with it, but Wokapu had some trouble placing full trust in the good intentions of Toa. Though to be fair, Ra’lhen, Stannis, and the kind company of friends Wokapu currently found himself with, were doing well in regards to assuaging the Toa of Air’s cynicism. As they continued walking, Wokapu, unwontedly noticed that something (or someone) had caught Seria’s attention. “Was that Ra’lhen over there?” Wokapu asked with curiosity.
  23. I remember way back in the day when he sent me a thank-you PM for buying premiership. Also loved his editorials on the BZPcast. Happy birthday, Big D! Thanks for all you've done for this site.
  24. Hey all, I haven't forgotten about you. I hope to get posting again sometime next week, once I'm fully caught up in reading. To those who are RPing with me, feel free to PM me if you have an idea or want to go somewhere in the meantime, or just go through with it if you know it won't be anything drastic. I don't want anyone to be stuck on my account. Thanks.

Just one, actually, and it wasn't even a painful one. And now I don't even remember what it was (it involved rappelling, which I guess took more of her punergy than expected). That's one of my favorite Lego shirts, mostly because I can just wear it and everyone recognizes it and I don't have to explain myself. All the Game Grumps and RWBY events are a given. The DEATH BATTLE and Improvisor panels also sound cool, and I have to see the RTAA and industry panels (343 and Bungie). Naturally, I've planned out more than I may be able to attend, but all the ones I just mentioned are my highest priority.
