I've very nearly accidentally used terms like "everypony" and "hoofshake", so I know how you must feel.The public education system could totally use more ponies. When is Obama and the Congress gonna put some money towards magic kindergarten?! We're failing our children here!

If I recall correctly you were the first advent calendar comic last year too...anywho, I think your graphics have gotten better in the past year (and they were already pretty good to begin with)!

As did I, but I still loved this one. The Batman/Mare-Do-Well posters in the crowd and the return of Pinkie Sense really made this one for me.Also, Equestria has Rainbow Dash fan clubs, just as Earth does. Who knew?

I liked it! The duet was fun, but it was the sight gags that really got me going, like Fluttershy being so eager to introduce her pets, the butterfly doing that...hypnosis...thing...the bat doing the theme song...oh, and hearing Ride of the Valkyries - that really excited me. I figured Tank would turn out to be the pet the moment Fluttershy introduced him, so I'll knock off a point for predictability in the plot, but there were enough good jokes to keep me quite entertained.Also, was I the only one who thought of 127 Hours when Dash gets trapped in the canyon? Or do I just have a sick mind?

I'd like a cutie mark that's a prefect map of the London Underground. Shows my interest in trains and will come in handy if I ever visit London...

Heh, that was my sister's reaction when I told her. Seriously, there was about a 10 minute exchange of me telling her about bronies and her going "You mean to tell me...that boys...boys...watch...actually watch... My Little Pony?" *wolf whistle* Me gusta.

Mmm...it depends on what you define as "girly". If your definition of girly is something along the lines of "lame", then no, I don't think it's girly. If you mean it's pink and glittery, then...well, the toys are, the show not so much. It's colorful, but it's not in-your-face pink and fluffy like the old incarnations of MLP were. If by "girly" you mean more that all the characters are girls, it's very colorful, and everyone is pretty friendly and while there is conflict it's on a level suitable for little kids, then yeah, it's girly.In my opinion, MLP is a pretty feminine show, but that stems from my own idea of what "feminine" means, which differs from person to person.

MLP is targeted at girls, as Bionicle is targeted to boys, but I doubt Hasbro cares who's buying their toys so long as someone is buying them.The total hypocrisy here just really amuses me. There are plenty of people out there who would mercilessly mock guys like you or me for liking a toy line aimed at the pre-teen demographic at our ages, regardless if it's targeted for boys or girls. Are they wrong? Absolutely, and you have every right to stand up for your interests and tell them so. But to turn around and say "Yeah, but I'm not like those freaks" kinda rubs me the wrong way.

You're right. Most other sites would have a best pony argument every 10 minutes. :lol:My favorite pony depends largely on my mood, but the great thing about this show is that each pony offers something to love. I love Rainbow Dash for her sheer awesomeness and that killer appearance (why do you think I've got her as my banner?). But Twilight is the one I most relate to. Then again, I find Pinkie the most entertaining to watch.It's actually incredibly rare for me to come across a set of characters where I can really get into each one. That never happened to me with any of the Bionicle sets of six, for instance - there would always be a dud or two I could never get crazy about, even if the others were awesome.

Hee, I love it how everyone's favorite pony changes constantly. I had never seen so many people saying "Rarity is best pony" (not necessarily here, but around the internet) until this latest episode. Wasn't Luna widely regarded as best pony just a couple of weeks ago? And wasn't there a wide consensus that Twilight was best pony before that? And Rainbow before that? :PIt's just funny to see what is supposed to be a personal opinion turned into a trend.

I'm really liking these non-text comics! They're a kind of humor that has an elegance to it that too often goes under-appreciated, particularly here on BZPower, so it's great to see someone here really take to them.

I agree expect that I am VERY VERY extremely disturbed and I hate it. It's a show made for girls. But by the same logic you shouldn't talk about anything but Bionicle on BZPower here, such as that Starscape RPG you take part in. I agree that discussion of ponies should be kept as much as possible to the pony topic here on BZPower, but that seems to be happening anyway. Who exactly is interrupting your Tom Clancy/Battletech crossover fics with ponies? Are bronies really jumping into the middle of the story to talk about Pinkie Pie?No human being has one single interest in their lives. Inevitably, we're going to want to talk about other interests with the friends we make on sites like BZPower. It's fun when you realize the other common interests you share with the friends you make! Uh... who said that?
