Well it took a little under a year, but this is my 100th blog entry. My remaining days of premier membership are running out, so I shall dedicate this entry to all of you people who took time to stop in and read/comment on my blogging content.

First off, I have to once again thank Kohaku. If not for him I would have never had the opportunity to blog. At 300+ comments, I would like to think that the blog did pretty well activity wise. I did make blog of the week sometime ago, however back then my blog was only a sliver of what it has become now. I have had my share of highs and lows during my blogging time, most of them can be read about in the personal life category. I am saddened that I will be unable to blog soon, however that sadness also motivates me to hopefully purchase a lifetime premier membership in the future.

My only regret here is not being able to host that giant MoC contest I so wanted to do.

So I went to TRU today and got much more than I had thought I would.

Icarax was on sale and so was Solek, I got Brawl from gamestop though. I feel complete now and my life can go forward!

If you are using a linksys router, and are experiencing frequent disconnections or are unable to battle in wifi at all, I have discovered the solution to this problem. It will require alot of manual setup for the router and the Wii, including port forwarding the Wii, obtaining a static IP address, changing the channel of your router and downloading the most recent firmware for your router.

Anyway, there is a link I could supply however there are forums there so I cannot. Please PM me if you wish and I will help you to the best of my ability. I was having problems and was pretty angry until I did all this, now my Wii is much smoother on the internet.

I gotta get this BBCC entry done, I only have 2 days left! Usually I am an early entrant, however I have been extremely busy lately between work, home and Brawl! Sadly I may not be able to finish in time but I am sure gonna try. I suppose I should leave a teaser pic.

Friday, MoC, my pick for this week is...

    Jaka Wajorzee by Bundalings!

Congrats Bunda, your revamp of the Jaka is colorful and has foliage! Clearly a MoC that has stood out this week in the BBC. You will be put with the other winners of the week.

Wow, apparently we are not that far away from having a device that can allow us to actually see others thoughts and dreams! “Imagine a general brain-reading device that could reconstruct a picture of a person’s visual experience at any moment in time, and perhaps even provide access to the visual content of phenomena such as dreams and imagery."

Think about the possibilities this new device could open up. Being able to create an acutual image of someone elses thoughts, kind of scary really, one day we might not have any kind of privacy at all! Telepathic machinery, I just do not think the world is ready for such marvels yet. I for one have had some dreams that I never, ever want others to know about!

Wow, we are up to eleven already? Where does the time go? Anyway, this week we have a rather obscure and original creation featured. After some browsing of the BBC forum, I selected my pick, the winner is...

    Couch by N!

Congrats to you N, your couch has a smooth and detailed look. The shapes used really have a striking resemblence to an actual couch! These are the kinds of creations we need more of in the BBC, you will be added to the winners content block!

After many hours of grinding, my attempt at a perfect file for the first half of this game, Final Fantasy VI Advance, is nearly complete. Those of you who have played the game will notice some items that are normally un-attainable at this point in the game, such as Flame Shields and Crystal armor/weaponry can be gotten via a skill called meta-morph. Those items were obtained via an item called Magicite Shards. These items randomly summon 1 of about 20 "Espers" with various effects on an enemy group. Certain enemies can be meta-morphed into the select items, but at a very unlikely rate, I believe the overall odds are 1 in about 256. Those odds are made even worse by the fact that you can only hope the random esper summoned is the one (Ragnarok) that you require for the possible meta-morph.

Anyway, fans of this game will know how difficult and tedious it was getting all those items, this means you Omi . There will be one more feat, at which time I will have every possible thing you can have up to that point in the game. Meaning experience levels of 99 for all characters, all magical spells, all character special abilities, and 99 of every buyable item. This is one of my greatest gaming accomplishments to date, I will continue the quest for perfection!

Anybody who is interested in proof can PM me, I have a video available but it seems that the site I have the video uploaded at is a filtered site here, I never knew!

Friday is almost over, so I browsed BBC real quick to find a last minute pick for this week. I was rewarded with.....

    Gargali by Ballom!

What a unique color scheme, rarely seen and a visual treat. It is a cute little bugger too. Finally someone finds a good use for those Jango Fett parts, well done and Congrats Ballom! You will be put with the other noteworthy MoCs and have a small part of history here.

Today is Washington's Birthday, today is also my birthday. Yikes, Im getting old! 27 is a big number, Ill be looking for the gray in my hair soon. Ill have another entry later on with the birthday gift haul, I expect some Phantoka and perhaps some Jungle Exo Force sets.

I may be old, but I do not act or look it barring being a father and holding a full time job. I feel plenty young still, I credit Bionicle, staying fit and video games for that!

So I have been thinking of hosting my own Blog MoC contest lately, I always wanted to do one and my time being a premier member is running out!

Something I rarely see anymore in the BBC forum is well done LARGER scale MoCs. They seem to be one in a million anymore. This entry is not the official announcement of the contest, but I want to see how many serious MoCists here would be interested. There will be some nice prizes, including some collectables (Kanohi, Kanoka, etc) for the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Basically the rules are simple, the MoC must stand at least 16 inches tall and you must have a picture with a precise measurement of it. Also it must consist of no less than 200 (Estimated) pieces, you do not have to submit an exact piece count but I will be looking very closely at all the entries. You can only have ONE MoC for your entry, no cut/painted parts or non lego parts are allowed. You may edit your entry picture but you must also have a full gallery of the MoC available to view also. If by the contest deadline we have no more than 8 contest entries, then I might extend the deadline, or cancel the contest as my premier memberhship might run out before then.

Feel free to ask questions and give feedback, I want this to be a popular and good sized contest, as the prizes will be just as good. If I can get enough people interested, Ill make an official banner and the contest will begin.

Another Friday, another pick of the week. You all know the schpeel, this weeks pick is.....

    Follium by ~Blue Diamond~!

Well, as I predicted, I see the topic has surpassed 24 replies. Well done, you have a streak of MoC hot topics lately, I enjoyed the very green look and texture of it, an unusual but dynamic color scheme. You are going in the content block with the illustrious other MoCists! Congrats!

This is probably the gem of my entire lego collection, a Mindstorms 2.0 set. I opened the box to make sure all the parts were there, never got around to opening anything else on it though. Back when I got it retail price was 200.00 US dollars. There is some minimal box wear but otherwise it is in mint condition. I have been tempted to use its wonderful parts, such as long purple tubes, teal tubes, large gears, the brick separator and of course the RCX brick. Everything is there, CD-ROM, activation codes(which I covered for these pics of course), Line mat and etc.

Im not sure what to do with it, sell it? Open it? Just let it sit and gather dust?

Yes you did read that right, I have obtained Toa Tahu!

Heh, thought it was 08 Tahu didn't you? Well its just plain ol Tahu. Some of you might remeber the Pixel Perfect MoC contest hosted by Ca'gerrin. I managed to win that little contest and this was my prize, my first ever Toa Olda! Thanks Ca'gerrin, you are a man of your word. I doubt I will be able to take him apart for MoC parts, this is just a special addition to my collection. Took me 7 years but I finally got an original Toa set!

Is it Friday allready? Man, that means I gotta go back to work tomorrow, but it also means it is time for the pick of the week! This week I searched BBC for quite awhile until I found a MoC that caught my eye. Therefore this weeks winner is.....

    Po'Tali by Ca'gerrin!

Congrats dude, your female take on a toa of stone is unique and very custom. I also enjoyed the custom hammers, well done there. You will join the illustrious others in the pick of the week content block!

This was my first ever trade, so it was kind of special. You are indeed a trusted trader, I hope you enjoy your Axxon Kanohi and Vezok tool I really needed that Rahkshi spine and Ill be putting it to use very soon.

Also, to Kohaku, you will be getting your promised gift soon also. I look forward to more trades!

The G-Men, New York Giants have won the Super Bowl over the heavily favored Patriots. What a great game that came down to the wire. Manning will probably make MVP, congrats to the Giants, and I would hate to be a Patriot fan right now.

Friday, 1st of February. Meaning what, time for another pick of the week of course. Who will gain the spotlight this week, I can give you a hint, he has seen the spotlight many times before. This weeks pick is....

    Toa Jovan by ToM Dracone!

Yea it is yet another revamped Toa, but clearly not in the same class as your average Toamod. As usual ToM showcases his talent with shapes, articulation and color, love that gun too. Well done ToM, your name will be added to the others who have gained my acclaim in the content block.

Friday once again rolls around, and so does another pick of the week. This week we have a pair of creations, my picks for the week are....

    Crabun and Fishun by Cajun!

The master returns with some well done rahi, he even managed to work in some Galidor parts. What can I say, you are still the man Cajun, congrats on the pick and I hope to see you become at least somewhat active again. You will be added to the pick of the week content block with the previous winners.

    Fascinating Story

It seems that the double helix of DNA can sense each strand and orders itself accordingly, an ability to communicate telepathicaly. To me this is amazing, to think that the essence of life has the ability to do such an incredible thing. Scientists claim further research of this could explain many diseases and other debilitating ailments to humans.

The more I read into this, the more captivated I become. The secrets of life are truly something to behold.
