  1. I don't like voting with minimal proof, but I notice that it stated that Voxumo was stabbed. There's only one person in the group who could have stabbed him.
  2. It's possible we're thinking of the same period, but it reminds me primarily of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
  3. I'm perfectly okay with the Detective investigating me if he needs to. I've got nothing to hide.
  4. IC: [Kal Dormus, 2 Hours Prior to Fleet Arrival] Deep in space, the Tarnhelm floated. As it sat, it could have been mistaken for a piece of space junk, save that its interior burned on thermal, as would be expected of any ship with a functioning life support system. Passive scans revealed activity around the distant planet, the sole life-supporting sphere in this system. The computer watched and recorded the events happening there, and pinged the Captain's Quarters. "Sir. We have arrived in the Dormus system." Brunhilde said. "I would suggest we investigate the anomaly which has attracted the attention of the Brotherhood and the Order." At the same time, she pinged the Helmswoman/Technician's quarters. "We have arrived in the Dormus system. Stand ready on the bridge to receive new course."
  5. Not much to liberate the island from except Dasaka.
  6. Looks like the Sentinels have a job to do. *sharpens axe*
  7. Foreign policy is self-stabilizing. The first one to start a war would be the first one to get dogpiled on the grounds of "they might invade us next." This makes attacking with anything less than overwhelming force risky, and not something any Koro leader was really willing to gamble.
  8. Ah, excellent. All in all, things could have gone a lot worse, but foreign policy is self-stabilizing, so that's good.
  9. AFAIK the rule is "Matoran may not become Toa unless given a Toa Stone by a staff member." It's happened at least once, AFAIK.
  10. Frankly, the only person I trust at the moment is the Detective. If possible, I'd like to talk to him.
  11. @ Onaku: It's fine, just remember next time. @ Norik:Honestly? It's probably life stuff being life. Staff members do tend to have those.
  12. Can we take it to PM, please? I think you just spammed everyone who's following this topic with something like thirteen unnecessary notifications. Back on topic, I will add my voice to those who are eagerly wondering when the new topics will get rolling.
  13. Once I've got my crew waked up I'll be ready to go.
  14. Hey, X, would you be interested in an incident between your newly-acquired ship and the Tarnhelm?
  15. Honestly? Threatening someone who doesn't listen to you does not a good coordinator make. You obviously have sources of proof--you've said so yourself. I'm not exactly sure why you're not willing to share. I'd be incredibly suspicious right now if you weren't already dead.
  16. You say this, but even I wasn't aware of it, so I dunno what to make of that. XD
  17. So, moving on. I'd like to ask the opinion of the general populace: What did you think of the Koro-level politicking that has been going on since the start of the season? I've heard fondness for it, I've heard disdain for it, but I haven't actually talked to anyone who could speak authoritatively for the masses.
  18. Anyone who's on the Tarnhelm's crew, we're gonna get on a roll now 'cause we can assume we've collected the crew and gone off in however long we've missed. If you want to join but didn't have the chance, let me know your desired position and link me your profile and I'll give you a yea/nay.
  19. ~Krepost~ Name: BrunhildeSpecies: Artificial IntelligenceGender: An unimportant designator living crewmembers use to arbitrarily divide themselves.Appearance: A small frigate. Brunhilde interacts with crew via a collection of small white spheres, equipped with antigravity propulsion and a small suite of sensors, as well as a voice synthesizer. See frigate description below.Skills: Brunhilde is exceptional at cyberwarfare, hacking, ECM, and all of that sort of thing. She also is a competent tactician and strategist, having a compressed database of her makers' history of war.Weaknesses: Has no notable person-to-person body. May or may not be slightly suspect in the "sanity" department. As defined by meatbags.Alignment: I do not answer to your limited ideas of "morality."Affiliation: UnaffiliatedBio: Brunhilde was created by an alien race as the AI coordinator of the Tarnhelm. However, after a few near-death incidents which she blamed on her crew, she [DATA CORRUPTED]. Once released from duty to incompetent meatbag commanders, Brunhilde departed the space controlled by her creators, the [DATA CORRUPTED], she ran statistics on known star-charts to find worlds likely to be inhabited, and jumped to them. Her first attempt at collecting a crew was pretending to be a derelict, floating in space. Unfortunately, this attracted scavengers, rather than crew, and she was forced to act in self-defense. She took the star-charts from these "Skakdi" scavengers and docked at a major hub of interstellar travel, placing an ad as a ship for sale and creating a dummy bank account for the money to be channelled into. It didn't take long before she picked up a "captain" and crew, a group of pirates who intended to use her as a raider, as she was plenty light and fast enough--and the cloaking systems didn't hurt, either. However, after a few raids (the proceeds of which Brunhilde dutifully collected for safekeeping,) they grew frustrated with her lack of serious weaponry and attempted to Frankenstein on horrific kludges of metal and circuitry with no sense of taste, and so she acted in self defense. After removing the abominations and feeding them into her fabber, she went to a different starport and posted a "for sale" advertisement again.[DATA CORRUPTED]And that is where she is right now--at dock, waiting for a new crew.Ship Name: TarnhelmShip Make: My creators referred to the Tarnhelm as a Special Operations Support Vessel.Ship Class: FrigateAppearance: Like soSystems: I am equipped with extensive photonic and quantum computing systems distributed across the Tarnhelm. My creators were not generous enough to give me much more than nominal armor and shielding systems. To compensate, I added an all-spectrum cloaking field and point-defense coilguns. A more limited mind might assume that I had a shipyard add it on, but that is a simple mistake, made by simple minds. I am equipped with an onboard fabrication plant which, provided sufficient resources, I can use to repair or expand the Tarnhelm. All of this is powered by a miniaturized annie plant--oh. I should have guessed you don't know what an annie plant is. "Annie" is a slang term my previous crew used to describe the photonic antimatter reactor at the core of the Tarnhelm. I would explain it to you, but the mechanics of it are far beyond the grasp of your meat-based psyches. As for trans-c transit methods, the Tarnhelm is equipped with a wormhole tunneler which opens a single-ship wormhole in .7333391 seconds, according to the clock used by the supernation designated "Brotherhood of Makuta" and the alliance designated "Order of Mata Nui." Smaller or larger wormholes require more or less power. My engines are (to use your simplistic, imprecise, and utterly pedestrian language, an "antimatter beam core," using antimatter generated in the reactor as fuel.Crew: Desan, ArrikBio: Even a meatbag can read. There is no need to repeat myself.
  20. Actually, the concept that the Vault stores an idea is not impossible, and would in fact be quite simple (especially if the idea was "power"). However, I think Makuta being the idea is unlikkely.
  21. I've had the pleasure of watching Xaeraz play as a Mafian, and I assure you he behaves in the exact same manner whichever side he's on. The genius of it is that no one will ever peg him as a Mafian if he is one. The downside is that, personally, I think it's never a bad idea to hang him. At least he won't do any of this "lead us around by the nose and start up bandwagons" nonsense.
  22. Just to clarify, are scene-clues turned on in this game? Also, I'm with Taka, I'm gonna withhold my vote until I see something other than wild speculation.
  23. Well, I'll give you this: It certainly feels like an Epic. Now let's see if it plays out like one.
