  1. Well done, village. Time to get to work on the others. -The Ghostly Prosecutor
  2. That seems fair enough, I'll see what I can do.
  3. I'll look into that. Better question: Will this be running repeating games like Mafia does? Or is it a one-shot thing?
  4. Okay, wow, if I'd known this was a thing I would have signed on a lot sooner. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while. Is there any way for me to jump in or do I have to wait for the next round?
  5. To be fair, the prosecution has been going light on the legalese. I said nothing about damages and fines.
  6. The prosecution assures the defense and the jury that the matter of Lhikevikk's actions is being looked into as we speak. As for "grounds of the prosecution," we assure you that all procedures were complied with, all paperwork properly filed, and all rights respected. As it is, we're still waiting on the search warrant for the Sniper's rifle, but we are quite certain we will find it when the warrant is carried out. -The Ghostly Prosecutor
  7. The prosecution would remind the defense that, while the prosecution is obliged to provide proof to the court (for example: the "guilty" result turned up by the Detective on Constructman), we are not obliged to reveal sources, particularly to those thought to be likely to tamper with evidence or witnesses. If you need proof that the Detective turned up a guilty verdict, you merely need to refer to Exhibit 1-A, the initial part of the scene. It is in fact displayed at that scene that the Detective turned up a guilty result. This prosecution can confirm that all the proper paperwork was filed by the police department requesting a thorough investigation of the defendant. The prosecution requests furthermore that an arrest warrant be issued for Mr. Constructman, to be transmitted posthaste to his current place of residence and carried out.
  8. I don't know about others, but I, at least, try to have some class. -The Ghostly Prosecutor
  9. ...What? ...I see. Excellent. He was fairly transparent from the beginning. Thank you. For this, I suppose, I won't be cutting your pay. I suggest you go before someone recognizes you. *tugs on jacket lapels, enters courtroom* >Music: Phoenix Wright OST, Court Begins Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. I am sorry to tell you that we have not yet identified the Coder. However, we can deliver up yet another Mafian to you for your judgement. I think you might recognize him, as he made quite a stir during the previous trial. This man, ladies and gentlemen, is Man of Miracles, the Sniper. The helpful Detective Gumshoe noticed his stubborn refusal to admit the prosecution's case in that trial, and decided to investigate him when he got the chance. I am pleased to state that he has been found to have ties to the Mafia. Perhaps we can nip this one in the bud. Unfortunately, we will also have to sacrifice Valendale for this to happen, but his sacrifice will be appreciated and respected. -The Ghostly Prosecutor
  10. Of course, at the same time you prevented the Mafia from actually pulling that trick by getting some villagers to stand on guard as it went down, so you deserve some kudos in that as well. XD
  11. Gumshoe from PW is constantly getting his pay cut, so I figured since he's done such a fine job this time around I'd give him a raise.
  12. I would like to take a moment to congratulate and thank everyone who participated in this amazing display of dedication, focus, and sacrifice. I would like to give a moment's silence for Unit and Punished Snake, who sacrificed their lives that the village might win. Snake might have tried to get out of it to save his own neck, but that doesn't mean he didn't end up being sacrificed. I intend to treat him with respect, both for what he gave and for his devotion to his cause. I would also like to give Detective Gumshoe a pay raise. Maybe he can splurge on an extra packet of ramen this week. (On a side note, I'm tempted to start using the title "Ghostly Prosecutor." Thoughts?)
  13. Staff ruling has stated to my memory that Toa and Matoran are effectively human. Which gets confusing when you use a blistering agent on metal...
  14. I dunno, I have to admit it's always amusing to me to see someone try to save themselves when they're tethered to a Mafian.
  15. Yeah. it's pointless and annoying and frustrating. My only question is why? What does this gain him? If he's not village, anonymity is his best weapon, one he just threw away with such a suspicious, high-profile move. If he is village, there's no point. AFAIK he's not exceptionally Type Two, so...
  16. I think it was just forgotten because no one tried a stunt like this.
  17. Lhik, what the heck? We had a thing going, no need to mess it up.
  18. Type One and Two are as far as I'm really willing to go--it's an easy way to explain "this person likes to use their head" vs "this person wants bloodshed" but all the other "types" are really just silly.
  19. See, this is another reason double-hanging is so tricky. It takes one vote to derail the whole thing.
  20. Ahem. Okay, if "only guy on the scene who could have done it" isn't enough, what is?
  21. The cited reasons for voting Chro have been, to my memory, revenge and...revenge. Yeah. I smell a Mafia scapegoat.
