  1. IC Thama:Thama followed after Cyrax, keeping pace with short warps. She soon reached Onu-koro.OOC: Thama to Onu-Wahi
  2. IC Thama:Thama watched Kalama vanish into the snow. It was just her and Cyrax now. "The two of us should get going too," she said. "We'll no doubt beat them there, but it'd be good to get things started while we wait for the rest of them."
  3. OOC: Nen from Po-WahiIC Nen:Nen looked around at the terrain. "Much more varied scenery too," he observed
  4. IC Nen:Nen followed right after Tanuka.OOC: Nen to Kini-Nui
  5. IC Nen:"You don't have to tell me twice!" Nen chuckled, racing after Tanuka and Agarin.
  6. IC Thama:Thama considered Kamaehu's plan. "Very well. If you're going to go and get the others you should probably make haste. Any dawdling risks Taipu being killed or captured."
  7. IC Nen:"Besides, Kalama is their leader and their friend," Nen added. "I'm sure the other marines can take the time to not kill their friend long enough for him to tell to not kill him. Have some confidence in our teammates. Worry about them, yes, but don't let the worry consume you. Always have a bit of optimism."
  8. IC Thama:"It won't be that hard to find the base," Thama agreed. "We'd better get moving soon. Nen and the rest will be almost out of Po-wahi by now, and the sooner we reach them the less backtracking we'll have to do to get to Onu-wahi. Although, if Taipu hasn't been seen in a while it's going to be particularly difficult to find him. Maybe Nen has some connections we can use to help us search." As she turned to leave, Thama remembered something. She turned to Kalama. "If Tanuka's coming with us, she'll be away from your guiding hand. I'll do my best to teach her how to be a toa. We'd better get moving Cyrax"
  9. IC Nen:"I'm hoping they've found him unharmed, or safely removed from harm by the marines. Either way as long as Thama and Kalama and Cyrax don't end up having to fight anybody without us, that's okay. If Kopeke has been hypothetically captured by the marines, that will delay any assassins after the company because they won't know ahead of time that Kopeke isn't at his hut. That gives anybody trying to find the rest of the company for positive reasons more time to find them."
  10. IC Nen:"Your my friend too," Nen said to Tanuka. "We haven't known each other long, but we've foguth scorpions and chucked maha, and if that isn't enough to make us friends, then it doesn't matter because I think we're friends anyway."
  11. IC Thama:Thama sifted through the of the wrekage, shoving the door to free up the doorway. "Even if he's still here, which I doubt, he's probably not going to answer or reveal himself. We're going to have to look in there for him by hand," she said.
  12. IC Nen:"I have to agree with Tanuka on this one. Going to Po-koro really won't help us with anything. Besides, the others will be waiting for us, but if they get impatient they could be halfway across the island before we catch up. As for Kopeke, it's only a hut made of ice in the snowy area of a frozen mountain. It can't be that hard to spot."
  13. IC Thama:"You know where we're going so lead the way," Thama said to Kalama.
  14. IC Nen:Nen blinked a few times. "You know where Kopeke's hut is based off of what?" Nen asked, confused about the term used.
  15. IC Nen:"At times like these, I tend to just focus on accomplishing whatever tasks I need to do rather than wondering what in the world is happening," Nen said. "I mean, our main leader types ran off, and those other people with the gukko flew away, so all that's really left to do is focus on our main task: getting to wherever the others went. And once we do get there whatever issues or threats at our destination will have been dealt with at least somewhat by the others who are already there. So less work for us except the travel part. I think we got a pretty good deal."
  16. OOC: Thama from Po-wahiIC Thama:Thama appeared beside Kalama and Cyrax. "Are we going to Kopeke's place first or are we going to warn the turaga?" she asked.
  17. IC Thama:Thama sighed and teleported after Cyrax and Kalama.OOC: Thama to Ko-wahiIC Nen:Nen turned to the rest of the remaining group. "So, they left us here. I guess we should just keep heading that way," he said to them, beginning to walk in the direction he last saw them heading.
  18. IC Thama:"Very well," Thama said. "Cyrax, take Kalama and whoever else you can bring with you and we'll head to ko-koro. The rest can walk there separately. We can warn the turaga and form an initial defense until the rest of our group arrives. With that said, I will take my leave." Thama looked to the horizon and made a long warp across a large chunk of desert. She looked back to see the rest of the group were merely specks in the distance. She decided to wait there for Cyrax to catch up. Best to keep the advance group together.
  19. IC Thama:"It might not be best to go to a destination the two of us don't know the exact location of without the person who knows where it is," Thama replied. "We could scout ahead to locate any immediate distractions, but it would probably be best to keep the group more or less together."
  20. IC Thama:"That's a short sequence of teleports for me. Depending on obstacles in my way of course. And whatever the range on a kualsi is," Thama added.OOC: What exactly is the range of a kualsi teleport? Do any of you know?
  21. IC Thama:"You wouldn't have to carry us, we could just hold on to you and have you pull us there," Thama replied. "That's why I said having so many people to pull could be a problem."
  22. IC Nen and Thama:"Well, if we wanted to cross that sort of distance quickly, we'd need a kakama wearer to pull us all with them to Ko-wahi," Thama said, pondering tranportation methods. "As far as I know though, none of us have one. and even if one of us did and I warped on my own with my mask, we'd still have one person carrying several being with them, so it's not the most effective plan."OOC: Since Cyrax's kakama looks like a faxon, I'm going to assume we can't outwardly identify it as such. Also, there is precedent in the books that kakama users can pull people with them, if anyone's doubting that.
  23. IC Nen and Thama:Nen uppercutted his Nui-Jaga, forcing it to rear up on its hind legs. He then stabbed into the stomach of the rahi, who screeched in pain and fled. He walked over to the rest of the group. "That was fun!" he said enthusiastically. "What next?""Kalama's the leader of this operation. We can let him decide," said Thama, joining the rest of the group. "Good work by the way, Tanuka. You're already improving your skills."
  24. IC Yasurek:"Sorry about that," Yasurek said to the bartender. He finished his breakfast and went to collect his spears, replacing the furniture in its usual spot as well. He finished by plucking the spear out of Doomslayer's mouth very suddenly, and tok the Raknar plushie off of Gunner's face. "By the way, the captain said that we have a voyage ahead of us, in case you werent aware, so you both should probably get ready for that. 'The captain' in this case being Lohkar, not you Doomslayer. Also, DON'T call me a 'cabin matoran' Doomslayer. Please." With that Yasurek went back up the stairs to finish packing his things in his room.
  25. IC Nen and Thama:Thama was continuing to back up out of the reach of the half-blind Jaga, preparing for an opening. When one came, she fired arrows into two of the Jaga's legs, one on each side. The creature screeched from the pain and collapsed onto its belly once more. Thama aimed her bow right at the Jaga's good eye and said, "Listen here, scorpion. I have every intention to let you live. However, it is merely your choice whether to leave this fight with one eye or none. Think carefully."The Jaga scuttled back to its feet, jaw chittering as if it was pondering its options. It soon turned around and quickly left, disappearing over a dune. Thama turned to see how her fellow teammates were doing. With the stinger gone, Nen was easily fending off his Jaga. He took a step back from a claw attack to look over at Tanuka riding her scorpion. She looked terrified. Nen didn't care. "Awesome moves Tanuka! Keep it up!" he shouted, hopefully not messing up her concentration by doing so. The Jaga he was fighting took this time to swing a claw at Nen. He blocked it with his sword and used his other hand to sock the scorpion in the face. The Nui-Jaga had to back up a bit from the force of the blow, then charged back in to fight.
