I went to my friend's house today. He taught me a bunch of stuff on guitar (though by the end of the night I'd decided I wanted to learn bass), and then we went over to one of his friend's houses. Gah, names...my friend will be Andy, and Andy's friend'll be Matt. xP Well, Andy had been telling me a lot of stuff about Matt being an awesome singer; and, y'know, you get that rocker image stuck in your mind, right? Well, when we went to his place, Matt was about the furthest thing from what I expected him to be. Large kid sitting on the bed in his dark room with all the shades close playing Xbox Live? Not exactly what you expect of a singer. Well, we talked a lot, and I found out that I really liked the kid - easygoing, easy to get along with - but I didn't actually get a chance to hear him sing until after we went back to Andy's. His idol/inspiration is Michael Jackson, and I was kinda skeptical about that too. I mean, Michael Jackson? Pretty big legend to live up to there. Whatever the scandals, you can't deny that he was a great singer. But anyway...when I heard him sing, all my doubts just kinda went away. He's incredible. Really just...amazing. He sung some of my songs, even the ones that I never thought were that great. One of them was a song I actually wrote for that KJ contest but never submitted, dubbed "Welcome To The World" (or "my world", since I recently found out there's already a pretty popular song called Welcome To The World). But anyway. He was able to sing it in a way I would have never thought of that made it awesome. I'm pretty excited. I never thought this could go anywhere. But with me on bass and backup vocals/screaming, Matt on *maybe* another guitar and singing, Andy on guitar, Jackary on drums (if he can actually play), and my old crush on piano...it could go somewhere. If we can get the right connections.

OK then. It's still a good song. Ish. I'm already bored of it...it was a pretty boring album.

Hah. It's one of my very few strongish points...I'm okay at most musical stuff. I'm really debating taking actual singing lessons.

I never took much interest to them, but I do wonder if they just scrapped them. I coulda sworn I read something recently about them, though. Hmm.

Does anyone have a good site or something to learn to sing? I'm working on my songwriting still, but I wanna be able to sing when it comes time (and play guitar, but I've already found a good way to learn that). Really...like, some of you out there must be singers. :S Please help me out; I don't really know where to go or how to learn. Thanks.

ITS A LIEEEE

Yeah...if I get anything else like that weird depressed state back in February, I will. xD Seriously, we're like, what's that word, kindred spirits. Everything I am you are too. It's kinda scary. O.o Hmm. Well, the only reason I worry about it is the fact that I come from a family with a pretty big history of mental disorders/diseases. Otherwise, I'd just blame it on teenage mood swings. But my uncle committed suicide and he was bipolar (severely, but still). It's not something I wanna entirely shrug off, but I don't want it to be the way I judge everything I do. Otherwise I think I'll overdramatize it in my mind and it'll just be a whole lot worse.

I have pretty extreme mood swings throughout the day. Like today - I went from pretty calm and normal to extremely happy and a bit hyper to sad and almost depressed. If any of you actually keep up with my blog (which I'm sure you don't), I was rejected by a girl last year and I went into something short of depression. And apparently I come from a long line of emotionally traumatic family. So it's not entirely impossible; how much of it is regular teenage stuff and how much might actually be bipolar...well, I don't know yet. Not a very happy thought...

Working on a new blog theme for October/Halloween. And my blog name/description is probably gonna change a lot in the next couple hours because I'm trying to find a good new name... Yes, I'm already bored with my old one.

Somehow, I wound up "engaged" to a girl in my language arts class. So, uh...yeah. You can all come to my bachelor party. Guys only. And you have to have been a guy your whole life. Plzandthnku Went to one of the high school games again tonight. We sucked. Again. Our team's terrible, our league's too good, and our coach biites. Doesn't matter cuz I wasn't watching. This one kid's girlfriend...her eyes were almost totally blue. No pupils. Still high on soda. I gave a kid a nasty joke the other day and he took it seriously, so now he's tryna beat me up. Fun. I need to get in a fight already. And get a girlfriend. I need a life...

Did I miss that? Eh, it's hard unless you can get one of your lovers to have a good laid-back personality to clash with a more passionate/sappy personality for the other. That way, you can sorta balance the sappiness...

yaykillerobots I was just about to ask. Eh, from what I still remember, there was a huge debate about whether what we were doing was "side-staffing" (for lack of better words, I really can't think of what people called it then). It was just a lot of controversy and fighting, I think.
