  1. It's probably much, much larger than Karda Nui.
  2. The Toa Mata had always been a legend about legendary saviors of Mata Nui should something happen to them.
  3. Bionicle ran for a whole year and a half after the decision was made in 2008 to cancel it. All of 2009, plus the 2010 STARS wave. I don't understand how that's "killed off quickly." Sales were dropping, kids weren't interested, so Lego decided to cut the line before they started losing money. As for G2, I too wish we got that third year of it, but sales were just SO bad that they had to abort it.
  4. Just plain wrong. Your mom's special ed class is not a bigger sample size than Lego's massive market research and testing. Executives want money. If kids were interested, market testing would indicate it. The toys would be sold, purchased, and Lego would make lots of profit. But kids are not interested, at least not enough. Bionicle was canceled in 2008 due to dwindling sales (You're technically right, Kopaka. Bionicle G1 was not a financial loss - but it was heading straight towards it), and again in 2015 for the exact same reason. In fact, constraction sales so mediocre that Lego just gave up on the whole things.
  5. Magnetism is not metal, but it should be a sub-power of Lightning.
  6. Su-Matoran have greater resistance to extreme heat, but may also have a much greater weakness to cold.
  7. Why would he? As long as he's healthy, he does not care at all about the politics of his inner body. Mata Nui is totally neutral until his functionality is in jeopardy.
  8. I liked how they mixed up the otherwise balance of the elements. In the main story, all the tribes were basically equal. Onu-Koro wasn't any more or less important than Le-Koro, and they were all on the same side, and all had similar political relevance. It was symmetrical. But on Bara Magna, there's much less symmetry. All of the tribes are at odds to some extent or another, with varying alliances and rivalries. The Rock Tribe is a completely different species. Sand Tribe got blasted back to the Stone Age, in exchange for some extra limbs apparently. The Red One, Malum, wasn't even a Glatorian and wasn't even a main character. I really wish the Bara Magna arc could have had the time to be fully developed. So much potential to revamp Bionicle. It was really interesting until Mata Nui showed up. I just know that the story team was ready to go Insaneo Style with a whole new world full of opportunities.
  9. Because that's implicit and doesn't work by itself. He's asking if he should use [alternative] version or [alternative] variant. Versions and variants, basically mean the same thing. It really doesn't matter. Use whichever term you prefer. Counterpart. Reflection. Double. Mirror. Parallel.
  10. I would be very surprised if it were truly permanent. Most powers wear off after some time.
  11. They don't know how. That's why it's still broken.
  12. I read a cool idea that completely re-imagined the Kestora-Mole dimension. The writer made it so that it was simply a location inside the Red Star itself.
  13. Considering that Mata Nui is supposed to be a robot with an AI, him having a "spirit" doesn't even make any sense. Don't think too hard about it.
  14. That's because you don't know what a Suva is. It's a storage unit. The masks were inside the Suva. Put two and two together.
  15. What even are the differences? Why can't they just be two different sections of the place?
  16. Why would there be more than 8 Tribes on Spherus Magna? Also, keep in mind that the Rock Tribe is just the Skrall, and not an original part of the society. So they filled in for Earth.
  17. Why would Mata Nui give a flying flip about any of the Great Beings? As far as he's concerned, they're jerks who abandoned their world.
  18. They're just Le-Matoran and there's no reason to think otherwise.
