  1. Technically yes, but only Stage 5 or 6 kraata are used to pilot Rahkshi
  2. It still absolutely baffles me how anyone actually wants this. First off, Matoro already sacrificed himself and got revived during the trials of the 777 steps. Second, it would completely invalidate the impact of his sacrifice. Finally, that already sort of happened with both Jaller and Takanuva back in Mask of Light, and everybody hated it. The whole point was that Matoro gave up his own life to save his world. Why would you want to undermine that?
  3. I almost died laughing at this thread title. There is no such thing as "Bionicle G1." You made that up. It's called BIONICLE. Bionicle G2 is something that failed from nearly every direction, and Lego made the right choice by cutting it early. Yes, it had some good things about it, mostly just the physical engineering of the new pieces, but everything else was embarrassingly poor-quality. Marketing, writing, etcetera - it was all abysmal trash compared to what Lego invested into the real Bionicle's early years. Anyway, your question should be phrased, "What's better, Bionicle or Bionicle G2?" Calling it "Bionicle G1" implies that G2 is its equal, which it is not. It's basically a glorified spin-off that nobody noticed or purchased.
  4. My point is obviously that you already have what you want.
  5. Already happened many times, there's a bunch of fanfics that do just that. Also, I apologise for being harsh earlier. I edited the post to make it seem less aggressive.
  6. I guess my problem is that I'm sick and tired of seeing the same exact topics posted again and again for twelve years straight. Bionicle is over. The G2 Reboot failed. Move. On. Generation 3 already exists! It's all of the ongoing fan-projects. G3 has been here for years. Stop crying and whining online and try considering contributing to what's actually happening.
  7. Another note is that back in Bionicle's early marketing, they referred to the Turaga as the Tohunga's priests. So that must have been extra weird for the Maori.
  8. I can't remember if I already mentioned this, but I would have had the Toa use more Kanohi, at least during the serials. For example, when the Toa Nuva snuck into Odina, why not give them all Hunas and/or Volitaks? It's kind of hard to believe that they managed to get in without being seen as-is.
  9. Takua summoned the Toa Mata to the island, then he did everything he did during MNOG. The Chronicler's Company kept Makuta's Rahi at bay while the Toa were attacking his lair. Jaller & Co did a ton of important things as Matoran, ranging from being military commanders, to inventing war machines, to traveling to Voya Nui without any back-up. Back in the 2004 storyline, the six Metru Nui Matoran all did something very important. Actually, almost every single Matoran that got a set did something pretty important. We already have a Toa of Radiation in the story: Takanuva. Plague is basically just poison, and wouldn't really make sense as an "Element" in the way that other elements work. And what would Pollution even be, smoke? That's just Air but worse since it can only manipulate polluted air.
  10. In my headcanon, Matoran are able to access latent, passive versions of their Mask Powers, similar how they're able to access latent, passive versions of their elemental powers. Basically exactly like you described.
  11. What, making our own toys and stuff? How would that even work.
  12. The Toa Mata were $6.99USD. If you're using CAD, though, 10 sounds about right. They had a much smaller piece count, yes, but the overall volume of plastic wasn't that much different.
  13. Mata Nui's shield looks way more like a bladed weapon than a shield. Besides, voice lines are always recorded before animation. They're not going to call Worf back into the studio just to re-do one line.
  14. You can just edit your posts instead of posting again, you know.
  15. I was expecting noteworthy examples, not extremely minor ones. Also, it's important to remember that retcons aren't really contradictions, at least not in the regular sense. The Antidermis Red Star thing is an okay example, I suppose, but it doesn't matter since as far as we know, none of the Makuta died before that event.
  16. 2004 is one of Bionicle's best years story-wise.
  17. The Agori build is despised by most Bionicle fans.
  18. Barely any of these are contradictions. "Toa Metru" is a generic term for any Toa Team in Metru Nui, but "Mangai" was a special designation after their victory over the Kanohi Dragon. Naho's mask doesn't matter. Toa swap their masks around as needed. Besides, when was it CONFIRMED that she always wore a Huna, as opposed to just using one that one time? TSO's useage of Kanohi does not matter. Vortixx useage of Kanohi does not matter. The Element Lord of Sand hasn't officially appeared in any material so their gender does not matter. There's no contradiction in the Earth Tribe whatsoever. Greg's pre-emptive guesses don't matter. No contradiction in the Red Star thing at all either. Rahi being revived on the Red Star does not matter. Same goes for Makuta. So, where are the contradictions?
  19. So it should be pretty easy to name a few, right?
  20. Doesn't need a reboot. Let sleeping dogs lie. But if I had to, I'd basically go with what Nato G said. Far-future continuation of G1 with only hints and references to the old story. Also, no sets. Just books and comics. This isn't true at all. Who told you this? Masks weren't expensive to make whatsoever. Lego stopped doing mask packs because they stopped selling well. Besides, you can't keep doing the same gimmick over and over. Gotta keep it fresh and new to keep kids excited and keep parents away from getting frustrated.
