The Hip Historian Iaredios replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
I sure do hope this becomes a set... I love space related things that actually exist, such as satellites, rockets, rovers, and space telescopes. and I love that this was designed by a person that worked on it, accuracy is prime. And over 7 feet tall! That thing is massive! -

Lord Morgoth! I wonder who would win in a duel: Makuta Teridax, Morgoth, or Darth Vader... It is! It is my friend!Uh, isn't it the symbol that means "Jesus"?I love ninjas. If you wish to interpret it that way, then sure. It's also the imperial standard of the late Western Roman Empire and that of the Eastern Roman/Byzantine Empire.

Theme Song For Your Existence
The Hip Historian Iaredios replied to Jean Valjean's topic in Completely Off Topic
"Take Me Away", by Globus; "Between Raising H**l and Amazing Grace", by Big and Rich; and "You Do Your Thing", by Montgomery Gentry. They all speak to me, weather it be based on religion, my internal conflicts, or the way I was raised.I was raised on Country music, and as I don't really listen to music anymore that is lyrical (Classical, Contemporary Symphonic, and related genres), the songs that helped define who I am are going to be the obvious choices. -
Hello BZPower! I'm sorry I've been away for a while, I've gained interest in other things, and though I have not lost interest in it, my attention to Bionicle has gone down and is now being shared.---So, let's get to it. Here is my art.Finished. With this one I tried out a new art style, as I tried to give a prehistoric feeling of the sort to the ancient Great Being. Anonna, being alien in appearance when compared, looks very different in art style next to her immune attacker.http://www.brickshel...ting_anonna.pngUnfinished. My approach to a more realistic depiction of our friendly dream eater. Though abandoned due to artist block, I still love this one. If you look closely, you can see what appear to be eyes. http://www.brickshel...IMP/anonna1.pngFinished. I really tried to make the mask look like it was painted and not use any outlines. Though it was a frustrating process, the end result is fantastic. The idea was that Great Beings have a culture that requires the sage of masks, each being unique to the owner yet all of them being similar, and they would later implement this tradition onto their Matoran creations.http://www.brickshel..._being_mask.pngUnfinished. Same mask as before, only I tried to use the Great Being's trade-mark cloak and robe. I tried to do something different than the usual monk hoodie, and I took inspiration from the cowl of Star War's Darth Nihilus. (Hopefully) Temporarily abandoned due to my apparent inability to draw clothing.http://www.brickshel...eat_being_1.pngDoodle. An old drawing, inspired from the fortress as appeared in All Our Sins Remembered.http://www.brickshel...ng_fortress.pngFinished. This started out as just a simple doodle, but I wanted to see if I can color a digital drawing and finish it, though bad it may seem. My favorite part would have to be the mask. You can see my coloring skills have advanced a little bit since here.http://www.brickshel...an_portrait.pngUnfinished. This is an old drawing of The Shadowed One. It has been abandoned a while ago due to a change in my art style.http://www.brickshel..._one_color1.pnghttp://www.brickshel...hadowed_one.pngDoodle. I was bored and I drew out our blind lords of darkness.http://www.brickshel..._skykeepers.pngUnfinished. I abandoned this because no matter what I did, only the top of Kardas' skull looked nice, everything came out as being ugly as Hulk.http://www.brickshel...rdas_roar_1.pngFinished. Fan art of one of my favorite animated shows. A Blue Jay.http://www.brickshel...MP/mordecai.pngFinished. Crazy old lollipop man. I meant to draw Bensen as well, but I never got around to it and I eventually abandoned it.http://www.brickshel...o/GIMP/pops.pngUnfinished. Abandoned as I grew bored of it. It's a real shame, this was turning out to be a really nice drawing.http://www.brickshel...ngs/bahrag1.pngFinished. How I think "Ultimate Dume" should have looked like at the Battle of the Great barrier. Some-what of a remake of a much older drawing of mine. I say it is finished because I never meant to shade it, as there was going to be a digital coloring of this drawing, but it fell out of favor for me and it is lying in my hard drive waiting for it's master to give it another go.http://www.brickshel...barrier_2.0.pngAnd I have some Wallpapers. They are simplistic, but I like them.Kanohi Kraahkan. For those who love our old friend Terry. This was my background for a while.http://www.brickshel...wallpaper_1.pngPsionic Pokeball. I'm not a fan of Pokemon, but I made this out of a request from a friend of mine, who is off site.http://www.brickshel...eball-edit1.pngThree Virtues. Silver. I fell in love once I was able to make this symbol into what I've wanted it to look like for years, and I wouldn't mind if there were T-Shirts of this and the other two.http://www.brickshel...1_wallpaper.pngThree Virtues. Solis Magna System. My least favorite of these three. Maybe I should have made the two arms purple to match the planet. The coloring for the arms, however, inspired my with the idea for the next one.http://www.brickshel..._wallapaper.pngThree Virtues. Shadow and Light. This is my favorite one and is currently serving as my current background.http://www.brickshel...3_wallpaper.png--- Well that is it for now. Thanks for looking, it's been a while since I've been here.

Hmm, advice for writing...I haven't written anything in a long time, save for reports and such. What used to always bring up my imagination (and still does), would be to listen to music by people such as Thomas Bergersen, or Immediate Music (Yoav Goren and Jeffery Fayman, Goren in particular).Another thing is to find your interests, and build upon those by using them in the storyline. And don't forget that Human History is a great place to look at to get ideas, as well as other people's story's and ideas. Just don't rip things off and plagiarize.
