So, people haven't been seeing me on BZPower too often. This is because, well, my computer broke. This is a wreck here, folks. Lots of spritework was on that computer- NightOwls is perfectly safe, SpoofQuest! and Noob War were affected but will most likely be easy to recover, and TMUtLG has been gravely ravaged. Until it (hopefully) gets fixed, I most likely won't be on too often.

On a related note, my DSi just about saved my life with the DSi Browser feature. I'm not using it now, but still...

Well, it's that old Yuletide season again. I must admit this stock was very prosperous, in the way of Bionicle sets. I managed to recieve Gresh, Nektann and Skrall, the three Stars I was missing, but...

I also got ALL. SIX. MCTORAN.

This is good. My Jaller's arm broke. I needed a backup.

Christmas break is finally upon us. I get two weeks off!

A quick update on school: I have managed to make a grand total of $115 from money off the ground. In addition, the cafeteria was selling buttermilk pie again today- this time as "chess pie". You know something's wrong when they have to change the name of something to sell it.

    Also, Gerlickit preview.

Joined DeviantArt or whatever it's called.

Already I'm considering firing someone from TMU.

On another note I'm also thinking about starting a DA-exclusive comic series there with the Toon kit.

So, I went into Toys-R-Us in high hopes of finding the Stars, most likely Tahu.

    I didn't find what I wanted. In a way.

They didn't have Tahu, but they did have the rest of the Stars. I noticed when I saw Gresh. I almost turned away when I saw that his helmet was completely lime green. That's what got me.

(Speaking of Gresh, I wonder how Dlakii feels about the new one. I mean, he's Gresh, but he's not Gresh, but then again, he's Gresh... Man, I need to ask him.)

So they didn't have Tahu. Some nostalgic collector weenies must've nabbed them. (Hey, wait! I'm one of them!) So I ruined someone else's hopes by purchasing the last Takanuva and Rahkshi.

I was able to build the Rahkshi in the car. He's pretty easy, but pretty complex at the same time. You might need to turn the instruction book a couple times. Also, much to my disappointment, the head comes attached to the spine. I figured, well, since it looked like the original head, it would be a separate piece. In addition, it might be more of a nightmare for MOCists than it looks.

Oh, and it's made of a softer type of plastic than the normal hard plastic. NOT RUBBER. This drives me insane. The squids and maybe shadow leeches were made out of rubber, but other than that it's mostly been soft plastic. Shocker.

So all in all, despite being one of LEGO's most blatant attempts to smother brown with Keetorange, it's actually pretty nice to have a different Rahkshi and new characters amongst old ones in general. Oh, and no kraata. Sorry. But I have two Heat Vision kraata from 2003, so ha ha. I'll try to cram one in there. If you have the Rahkshi don't tell me the results.

Next there's Takanuva. He took me a whole two minutes to build.

Takanuva's build is pretty easy. I had to consult the manual a few times, but that's okay.

Box shots are awful. Takanuva carries two staffs, but it looks like he's carrying two bonecutter blades. (Well, technically, he's carrying two boncutter blades with two leg piston rod thingies.) So this can screw spriters up.

The Avohkii? Other than it being a lighter color than Makuta's hands, in the way of MOCing, if you have '03 Makuta you ain't missin' much. One of the things I generally didn't like about him was he fact that there was barely any silver; mainly being gray and white, so the Avohkii clashes a bit. On a related note, they use the '08 Avtoran head, but I don't mind, seeing as how I'm getting sick of the IRONMANIRONMANIRONMAN heads.

The last problem I have is the weird Avtoran body with nothing behind it. Raanu was the Agori on the Toilet. Now Takanuva's the Toa on the Toilet, or TotT if you like abbreviations.

So all in all, Takanuva's okay, but unless you're a total MOCer out for pieces, trying to collect the GOLDEN BIONICLE, or he's the last one and you want to ruin someone's hopes, I reccomend you save the TotT for later.

Also, YES I HAVE THESE. My apologies for no pics, my DSi is in a dying state. So don't bomb me with the "pics or it didn't happen" line unless you're not being serious.

I came back from Arizona. Windy and cold there at that time, but it's much worse back home. No sun at all.

So anyway, I've been thinking: If I wrote an epic, would anyone read it? I was toying around with some sprites of the Toa Nuva from TMUtLG (which look epic, by the way) and I was thinking about maybe writing a fanon adventure using them.

After my last excuse for an epic... *shudders* Don't look at it. Please.

Gavla's going home today. Myself, I'm leaving. I'm going back to Arizona. My dad's side of the family lives out there on a piece of private property.

On the bright side, it gets internet so I'll still be able to get on to BZPower.

I feel like "Random Nonsense" really works out here. This entry involves my comics. In posting this I've probably lost several of my readers and approvers.

Anyways, this is a preview of That's Messed Up: The Legendary Gerlicky. First off, I think "TMU" might be used, but it won't stand for "That's Messed Up" because it might not do the title justice. Of course, with with a main hero like my screen name alter ego things might get messed up anyway. Let's see a show of hands: Should I eliminate the "TMU" part of the title or not?

Okay, for the real consideration of the entry, if you're still reading: I figured I'd show a preview of the main hero- Gerlicky. Big surprise. The series is more of a side series in TMUTS and TMUCW, and takes place in an alternate dimension in which the events from the last two series existed, but what happens here will never take place there. I've been working on the plot for over a year and I might finally be able to release it.

How far have I come along?

That far. The first sprite was in four shade and existed entirely in doodles. Second was in five-shade. Eventually, I developed six-shaded versions of those colors and used them in six-shaded Chimoru.

The last one is what I'll be using for TMUTLG (or just TLG if the TMU is eliminated). I made six-shaded versions of Gerlickit colors and put them into action. By far, this is my favorite.

Good news? So today begins a fall break thing that I'm not sure when my school system started doing. I get the rest of the week off and the week after that.

Bad news? I'll be spending most of it in Arizona. I'll warn you and give more detail when that time comes.

For now, enjoy a new content block, this one containing all the quotes I found in Artwork III.

I've rediscovered the joy in writing in the Gurkiblog, a.k.a. my blog on the BZP Comics Wiki.

So there will be less flogging with entries about my comics!

All right, people. Here's the news.

Unfortunately I really don't feel like making TMUCW anymore. I dislike Rayg (because none of my stuff there was really noticed and I held that grudge throughout all this time) and my laptop doesn't have Glass Gauge, the font I used in them.

    So my question is...

Should I spoil the ending of TMUCW or not?

I know it sounds wrong, but it would be easier for me. There's just a lot of things in between comic series I'd rather explain than show. And frankly I'd rather work on the new series.

Seems like my blog is divided into three categories: my comics, random nonsense (like that entry about Gavla and his incorrect theory on my username, which led to worse ones) and rants about the Cafeteria from the Black Lagoon.

    Yep. Another one.

This one involves my lunch. Twice.

First day, I look in one line and there's Frito Casserole. Suffice to say it's awful. I didn't get it, of course. Other line wasn't too great either. So I went to the school store and bought a chocolate muffin, and that was my lunch.

Today wasn't much better. I bought a supposedly "beef and bean cheese burrito".

Turn out it was an IMITATION HOT POCKET. Lasagna-flavored, too.

Simply put, that isn't a "beef and bean cheese burrito".

I went back to the school store in hopes of muffins but they were sold out. So I bought some sour candy. Wasn't much better for me than a muffin, but oh well.

Oh, and I threw away my imitation Hot Pocket.

    No buttermilk pie.

Figured I'd let you all know I'm sick. I don't know entirely what I have, though I know it's not swine flu (or that weird lettering they call it now). All I know is that I cough too much, and every couple minutes I get really dizzy.

And I'm risking another dizzy spell just by informing you all this. I'll be on the spottily, folks.

So this Destr guy finally makes a BZPower account. I've heard a lot about him from Blade and I'm sure he'll fit in the world of comic-making.

The first thing I say to him is "YOU."

I think Nuparurocks is right. I really am blunt and heartless.

Welcome to Gerlickyland, Destr. Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times.
