  1. This actually looks pretty cool... The only real color scheme issues I see in it are actually problems the individual sets had, but were just exposed even more in this combiner.
  2. You ought to have used "One does not simply walk into Karzahni" as the example for the fourth (impersonal) person of the nominative case, if just for all of the mental facepalms it would result in...
  3. I so want to mount something like this inside my computer case somehow for the heck of it (And leave my real graphics card obscured)...
  4. Yes, but this would be more of a Lhikan's-Hau-Mold example than a Norik's-Pehkui (etc.) one, as that mask isn't an exact copy of another type (in which case we wouldn't know anyway without the telltale powers). Doesn't matter, though, since this is just a design error. Canonically, they have either a standard-mold Great-shaped Pakari or Noble-shaped Ruru.
  5. I haven't even gotten to playing the latest levels..... Kualus That sounds like.....KUALISI!! Actually it sounds like Kualus. As in Toa/Rahaga Kualus (Of ice). And I frankly have no idea what a "kualisi" is, unless you meant a (Kanohi Kualsi)... In which case I have no idea where the extra "I" came from. But wasn't that level called Coolix IV or something? Or is it SERIOUSLY called Kualus?
  6. I kinda think it'd be difficult to get the water out of the ridged squishy chamber. Haven't tried it in a while, but if I remember correctly there just isn't enough force to get the water through the center and push the "energy" projectile out. The end result is either (again, I haven't tried it in a while) that the water just jets out the sides, or that the projectile exits the barrel at a near-zero velocity (ignoring buoyancy), resulting in the thing just popping up, or sinking, or something. And Cordak blasters were great in principle. If only they worked properly in air... (Or those missiles could shoot through the water without so much stupid resistance)
  7. YYYYYES! AT LAST! *Ahem*...It's nice to see these kinds of major changes finally happening. Thanks a ton, guys.
  8. All of this scientific talk makes me wonder if there is an upper limit to how much Toa of Sonics, Gravity, Magnetism, and Lightning could hone their powers... Because a hypothetical team of these four Toa types with their powers at the an extreme level of fine control could do some pretty crazy things.
  9. The fifth-or-so version of Tanu... The first one I'm actually happy with. There are also a few parts and random Minifigures, three ships (that can become one), a strange mono-tread... steampunky... thing, and a recolored, slightly modified version of Nick Fury's flying car, though they're off topic.
  10. Keetongu's whirling shields and linked Rhotuka launcher. Otherwise Lhikan's Greatswords.
  11. Either the blue ones, which just look... good, or the green ones, which... well, same thing.
  12. Chima... as quite a few people said, will probably just fizzle out like any other theme after a few waves. Regardless of how hard LEGO is pushing it (read: wasting money on it), after two or three waves, even smaller kids will sort of get that it just isn't that great. There's barely a plot, the characters are basically no good (In the show, at least), and all of the Speedorz look the same, so the novelty of that gimmick will wear off quite quickly unless LEGO does something drastic with it. Ninjago, on the other hand, stands a chance. It has a plot that's continuous and interesting, but broken into chunks so that you don't have to know EVERYTHING about the storyline to know what's happening. It has Spinjitzu, which is actually a pretty awesome marketing gimmick, compared to a lot of things I've seen even LEGO come up with. It has Ninja with elemental powers, which certainly appeals to younger children. And most importantly, unlike Chima, it has a show that's actually entertaining for a large range of ages in a way that Chima just... doesn't. I can see Ninjago going on for another solid two years or so, provided LEGO takes it in the right direction. As of Hero Factory... I honestly have no idea. After Brain Attack I get the feeling that interest in that theme will slowly and nearly linearly decline, but not very swiftly. The whole theme is rather repetitive, but somehow it manages to have just enough difference between waves, and just enough... awesomeness..., that LEGO can pretty much extend it as long as they want, I think. The question with HF isn't whether it will make lots of money or not, it's whether it would make as much profit as a new theme.
  13. Admiral EggyWight, level 1 or 2 or something... but I won't be playing. The graphics is just too disappointing. I was hoping for a big screen and third-person, and instead I get somewhat low-quality isometric view in a tiny Unity web player, and seemingly repetitive, boring gameplay. Come on, LEGO.
  14. This opens up the potential for a LOT of shield-related Keetongu awesomeness in the future. But... Speaking of Keetongu, I've always been curious about his power's upper limit - there is no way the Great Beings/Mata Nui/Makuta could possibly have made him capable of absorbing one of the GSR grav blasts with his shield... Also, even further off-topic, if Keetongu's species was killed by Visorak, which presumably means in ways that DO leave a body to repair, would that mean that a whole load members of Keetongu's species are up in the RS?
  15. Yeah... I personally never understood how that made sense.
  16. Yeah, basically that's most of it. Speaking of which, was Takanuva really revived that way, or did he just de-fuse in a great big glowing ball of Protodermic energy when Takutanuva was smushed?
  17. Out comes the Bullet of Sponginess. In goes a Rahaga Head and a Rahkshi Head. Out comes something other than a headless Rahaga, Rahkshi, a fusion of the two, two of the first three options, or all three.
  18. That makes sense. Sonics isn't quite so directional, so I guess that's not the best comparison. We'll hope this is the case, anyhow. Yes, A Nova Blast of Sonics would most likely kill the user, possibly in a way that means they can't even be revived by the Red Star, heh.
  19. Apart from telekinetic forces pushing you around, it would likely blow your mind. Literally.Ehh, considering the energy is originating and radiating out of the Toa's body itself, I don't think that the telekinesis would harm her, just create a huge bubble of nothing around her as everything is pushed away. The same MIGHT apply to the lightning - since it's coming from the Toa, as long as she doesn't get zapped back by all of the stuff around here that gets charged to crazy levels, she might not actually be hurt. Personally, I don't think that any of the element emitted by the Toa will affect them, but any amount of the material/energy (for instance Fire, Plasma, Magnetism, Earth, or Stone) that comes BACK at the Toa somehow easily could if it's beyond their normal resistance.
  20. Wow, now that I'm really thinking about it, Plasma sounds like a really fun power to have. ESPECIALLY with the neon lights.
  21. Download link does not appear to work... (For Mctoran Creator)
  22. I know. But canonically, that world has ended now. There's no danger left for them like that. They've moved out onto Spherus Magna. So, we can all collectively go "phew, dodged that one!" But now it's very possible that some asteroid or large meteorite could come and hit Spherus Magna, haha.
  23. Out comes Thornraxx preparing to shoot you in the head with a thornax. In goes a whole bunch of "Useless" MNOLG/MNOLGII Character and Background Things.
  24. I actually kind of liked the storyline, just not the execution. I thought Hahli's rise from obscurity was pretty interesting, and I also thought having the Charms and Crystals and all the villages' philosophical views on kolhii helped make them seem like a real culture. If only the mini-games weren't so hard and repetitive and the Matoran had less ridiculous names. What was so bad about the names? Besides Tiribomba, Pakistaa and a select few others the names were believable, nice, and even somewhat awesome in some cases.
  25. Wow, I just got this awesome mental image of a blue titan (Takadox premutation) wearing a gunmetal Hau.
