Today was the last day of school for almost a week. We're off on Spring Break until March 31st. The good thing is that I'll stay in touch with most of my friends thanks to the miracle of modern technology. School wasn't bad at all, just two little tests and some class. Surprisingly, none of my teachers gave us homework but one of my teachers asked us if we could read the next chapter of Messenger for an activity when we come back from vacation. No biggie since I like to read and I finished it already so that's done with. I guess the reason for the lack of homework is that the teachers are sparing us so we are prepared for the standardized reading and math state tests. It's torture and it should be banned in all 50 states. Also, in school dental students came to visit my class to teach us a little but about dental hygiene. At first, I thought it would be the "standard brushing, flossing, and healthy foods for your teeth" speech but they did that and they talked about two other things. First, they talked about how much sugar was in a bottle of Brisk Iced Tea, a bottle of Pepsi, and a small bottle of Gatorade. To get the message across, they measured out the sugar in a cup and showed it around the class. Then, they talked about tobacco and all of the chemicals and poisons in it and what it does to your teeth and mouth. Who knew that they had arsenic (in rat poison), ammonia (a powerful cleaner), cadmium (in electric batteries), carbon monoxide (the gas that comes out of car exhaust), and DDT ( a banned insecticide). That just barely scratches the list of over 4000 chemicals and poisons. That just about sums up my day. ~SB~

Umm. Arch-Angel, I don't mean to burst your bubble but you said in my last blog entry that you thought it would come on Tuesday. Last time I checked, it was Monday. Eastern Standard Time. ~SB~

Yes, I wore green. Whew! Shame, six of my friends forgot green and they all got pinched one time or another. ~SB~

Finally, after years three days of wait, my cell phone has finally arrived! Now my Mother has to get home from work and then she'll activate it. So that means for the next hour or so, homework and manuals await me! Expect a review on the phone in a week or so and a few updates on it. I turned it on though I can't call or text but I looked around the menu and the phone has a camera for pictures and videos and it has a calculator. Perfect for figuring out the sizes and prices of Bionicle Sets world wide. So today was a pretty good day (for me at least). ~SB~

Right, that's what I was starting to think. Yesterday I asked my Mom about that but she didn't answer me for some reason. Tuesday? We'll find out tomorrow if you're right. ~SB~

Yes, I know that I said I would get a cell phone in the mail yesterday. Well, guess what! It's still stuck somewhere in the United States Postal Service. Grrreat! I was kind of disappointed yesterday because it didn't come and the "genius" that my Mother ordered from on the phone said it would come in 48 hours. By the way, she ordered it on Thursday and yesterday was Saturday (do the math). Next time, if the mail delivery for something takes several days, I'm adding another 24 - 48 hours on the prediction. Anyways, my Mother called yesterday, and the "genius" on the phone said it would come either Monday or Tuesday. So that means if you apply my "clever equation" to this. Don't expect it to come on Wednesday or Thursday. By now, I'm sure most of you are wondering what kind of phone I'm making a big fuss about. Well, it's a Verizon Samsung Alias™ – SCH–u740 in Black. The phone is a normal talk phone with a QWERTY keypad so you can text really easily. Any ways, if you want information on the phone; go to www.verizonwireless.com and type in "Samsung Alias" in the search box. Sorry I can't post a link, I tried but for some reason the page is always unavailable. So, here you go! A picture and information about my first phone, if you take the time to look for it. In some blogs, I've seen entries with a link on the top that tells you what topic it is and on the content blocks, they have links to what topic the blog is about. Well, welcome to my blog. As you can see right now, it's pretty bare and dull but hopefully, I'll be able to brighten it up (with some help). I plan to have images, quotes, and who knows what else in my Content Blocks. So, for the first few weeks, please excuse this blog's messiness as I am trying to figure this stuff out. Let's see if I got this. Radio and light both have wavelengths. Correct? So, that means that light is a series of wavelengths that is visible to the human eye and radio waves aren't? Another question, if they techincally have nothing to do with each other, then why is it 'possible' for a Toa of Light to control Radio waves? ~ShadowBolt~
