  1. Most of the older G1 sets I have taken apart for various reasons, but some of the my favorites ares still stored away in a tub in my closet. My room is filled with my other collectibles and right now, the G2 Toa and Kulta are on a shelf.
  2. 2008. The 2006-2008 story has always been my favorite and who could forget the ending with Teridax forming the Kraahkan in the stars over Metru Nui and proclaiming that he won, and he's banished Mata Nui?! Even though I know what happens afterwards, I still love that scene in the comics.
  3. I've had many issues with the lime green pieces. I still hate to think about it, even after all this time.
  4. Yes, Norik's was I believe. It was honorary, but I do recall at some point he acknowledged the fact that it was misleading as well.
  5. I'm guessing he'll be back in the spotlight in some capacity in the final year of the story. As for what he's doing now, I always figured he was comatose (Funny how it's the other way around now, huh?), and was manipulating things from afar, like 2006.
  6. The missing Toa Hagah for me. They were important characters in the story and it always irked me that only 1/3 of the team was ever released. (Yes, I know the two were just an anniversary release)
  7. That's weird, because I've noticed that my Avohkii has actually gotten lighter, and I wish it was a bit darker.
  8. Kulta and Ekimu. I do not plan on getting any of the others though. Really only got the set for Ekimu, but mostly for the Mask of Creation.
  9. Gravity Hurts. The lyrics just work so well in describing the years events.
  10. I wasn't into BIONICLE at the time when the Kanohi were the collectible, but I can easily understand why everybody loved them, then and now.
  11. Also, yes there was an Element of sand in G1 it was the element that the Vorox where a part of. Yes, I know. I meant in the Matoran Universe though.
  12. CCBS is fine and all, and I like how for MOC's, it's easily integratable with the old BIONICLE system. However, I do not MOC often, and I always preferred the look that the original BIONICLE's had. The new system is also to easy to build. Give me me a good titan technic set any day over what we have now.
  13. Well, while this was never a big thing for me, no one can deny Hewkii and Macku. Also, I found that Jaller and Hahli might have had some underlying hints about a potential romance, but nothing more. Do Roodaka and Sidorak count?
  14. Yeah, there are numerous possibilities, and that's the good thing about speculation, it's boundless. I just hope they connect them at some point.
  15. That's because the great beings thought it'd be best create a separate element when creating the Great Spirit robot. It's also why they substituted air for jungle in the core six elements. Edit: My mistake. I do not believe there is an element of sand in the matoran universe?
  16. I always found 2006 to be a new era of BIONICLE, and I liked the dark turn it took. The 2006-2008 story is easily my favorite, but to each their own.
  17. I agree that 2004-2005 story at least delayed the the current story, but I did and still do not mind it. As for 2006, I greatly enjoyed that year.
  18. I'm mostly the same. I was young, I believe around 7 when it came out, I and stuck with it all the way to the end in 2011, collecting everything. Hero Factory failed to catch my attention after the animal theme, and I all but moved on, BIONICLE having little influence in my teen/adult life. When I learned it came back, I was extremely excited, but then I learned it was a reboot, and that nixed some of my enthusiasm. The new construction system is okay, and this reboot definitely improved upon the HF sets in my opinion. However, I too, have not felt that overwhelming need to collect them all, nor am I super obsessed with them. When I used to see the new sets come out, it was an amazing time for me. Some may point out that I no longer get obsessed or as excited as I use to simply because I am older, and that is not the case. I am a collector of some other toy lines, a fan of which I became due to the significant emptiness BIONICLE left when everything ended, and I very much get that feeling that I used to get when their new products are leaked for the first time. BIONICLE has had a great impact on my life, very likely my collecting every set back then has made me into the toy collector I am today. I love BIONICLE, it has shaped me, and I am very much nostalgic for it. Alas, I think the time has come for other little kids to have that same feeling that I used to get, for the years to be defined by when the sets were coming out, and to remember distinctly certain things from the past, because you couldn't wait to run home after school and go to the toy store, or checked the Lego site everyday to see if the new sets had been posted. I just hope this new generation can be the same thing for the kids of today, that it was for us kids back then. Will they look back with the same nostalgia 10 years from now? I hope so.
  19. Everybody has pretty much said it, but I always saw it in a way for at least BIONICLE and Pokemon, was that stone was, well...rocks. Earth was dirt, mud and anything else. Something I did always find interesting was that Toa of Stone could not control sand, which are rock particles.
  20. Probably Kardas in my opinion. He was very fun to complete back when I was a kid, and his sheer size was amazing. He may not be the best designed set, but he's certainly not terrible either.
  21. Maybe something similar to his 2008 sword? But I'd also like it to retain dual functionality and allow him to fly still.
  22. Oh, I was under the impression that they had most of it planned out up till 2008, albeit the Toa Inika/Mahri were supposed to be the ones in Karda Nui.
  23. Makes me think if Taka or Vezon may accidentally pop in at some point.
  24. Ah, that is true about about Artakha being on his own adventures, but then again, he could have popped off to his island to help evacuate his villagers. As for Teridax, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a back up body armor somewhere. He was always scheming. Anyway, that's stretching it, I know.
  25. Time just gets away from me....and logging in.
