  1. And we don't at the moment. However, there is a significant lack of story so far compared to it's 2001 counterpart, which makes me think that maybe it isn't all well planned out as Generation 1. That was the downfall of it after all. Maybe Generation 2 is trying to stray away from that?
  2. And this was just my way of trying to merge them, if they were in the same universe. I know they are not.
  3. Of course Gen 1 wasn't complicated, but as time went on, it was very much a part of a much bigger story that was planned out from the get go.
  4. I collect other action figures from other toy lines where the weapons are often bent out of place due to the way they are packaged. What I do is simply heat up water in the microwave, but not boiling, and then dip the plastic into the cup/mug for a few seconds until you actually see it lose it's shape and become malleable. Then . quickly take it out, bend it into the shape you want it, and dip that in ice water for a bit. Works all the time for soft rubbers/plastics like that.
  5. Tahu Nuva's Magma Swords.
  6. While I have every canister set and almost every box set, it probably has to be the Gold Ignika. The titan Mata Nui set's price is ridiculous now. Glad I got it then.
  7. ******WARNING-LONG POST ALERT****** Now before I start, I would just like to say that I know not everybody wants the two generations merged, and that’s fine. I however, loved how intricate the initial storyline was and this new basic Generation 2 storyline pales in comparison so far. I also apologize if this idea has been proposed before, and if it was, I did not intend to steal this idea and claim it as my own. I just figured that merging the continuities would be a fun challenge and as such, here is how I’d do it, thus allowing for a soft reboot for the kids of today, but allowing the older fans to still have a connection to the story and characters they grew up with and loved. Starting off, let us begin with where we left off in Generation 1, a cliff hanger on all fronts of the story. From what we know about Generation 2, it’s more or less a clean slate, but this could simply be due to lack of information. Let’s assume that an unspecified amount of time has passed between Generation 1 and Generation 2. Not a lot, but enough to conclude the cliff hangers left from the serials a few years ago. (An example would be, and while we don’t know how it will occur, that Lewa eventually escaped captivity from the Bota Maga, learned Agori and regrouped with his team) Now you may be saying works so far, or maybe this is taking too much liberty and is too fan fiction-y already. I do not know. Despite this, we will begin with the premise of Generation 2 and begin to merge it with Generation 1. Generation 1 left us with everybody on Spherus Magna, and for the most part, happily. The Mata Nui robot was scattered across the planet, and that is all we know of what happened to it for the most part. This brings us to the new Island of Okoto. (May it be noted that this new generation has simplified the names and or eliminated them all together) Looking at a map of Okoto and Artakha, they are not too dissimilar. My idea proposes that the island of Okoto and Artakha are actually one and the same. The island itself was named after the being Artakha himself, this having been stated. Something else that has popped into my thoughts was that what if the island of Artakha was simply named Artakha by outsiders? The city/island was closed off for how many years after the incident with the Makuta. Besides recently the Toa Nuva being there, nobody knows what it looks like or even knows much about it period. Who is to argue that its real name, known only to its residents, was actually ...Okoto. Following this, during the events of 2010 with the Mata Nui Robot falling to the ground, in the mayhem, and this is where some people may jump off board of my theory, what if Makuta in his last act before falling, managed to remove the mask of creation from Artakha in some fashion, and it subsequently got lost in the city itself during these events. Fearing for his life as well as everybody else’s, Artakha was forced to flee his island and escape to Spherus Magna, without his mask, and sadly, some residents of his city. So, where does Ekimu fit into this theory? Taking a page from Marvel with Thor and Mjölnir, as well as the fact that we never knew much about Artakha in the first place, what if wearing the mask of creation simply creates the being Artakha, such as how one who wields Thor’s hammer subsequently becomes Thor? What if Ekimu, a matoran/villager/agori/something, had become Artakha when he was rewarded the mask all those years ago. Having lost it, he simply reverted back to being Ekimu. As mentioned, some matoran/villagers (Using Generation 2 vocabulary) were trapped and did not escape the robot, and as always , divided themselves based upon elements an continued to live as best they could in this newly rejuvenated Artakha/Okoto . (This would be thanks to either the mask of creation or the mask of life, or even both) Eventually, on Spherus Magna, the Ignika at some point either devolved the rest of the Toa Nuva, or evolved Tahu again, and due to their adaptive armor, they now look the way they do. At some point and by somebody, they were tasked to go back into the robot to the mask maker’s city, where Teridax, having unbeknownst to everybody, actually fell into a coma like the new Generation 2 story depicts. As for our heroes, canister travel is nothing new, nor forgettable, or is it…? The Toa Nuva, once again, suffered amnesia upon arrival, but subconsciously still knew that their mission was to collect their new adaptive golden Kanohi Nuva (That Artakha had been working on before the events of 2010), as well as collecting the mask of creation and saving the Matoran/Villagers. Teridax, still being alive, used his powers to raise his army of undead warriors under Kulta’s command, and control the king of skull spiders, and set them upon our beloved Toa Nuva, thus bringing us to where the story currently is at on BIONICLE.Com This is just a theory, but I hope you all enjoyed it. If this is in the wrong thread, I apologize, please move it. Also, if this theory has been proposed by somebody else, feel free to speak up and take credit for being first to think of this. Otherwise, tell me what you guys think. Did I forget anything you’d like to add? Did I dig any plot holes that I may fall into? Thanks for reading!
  8. My favorite still has to be the Toa Nuva, mostly because they had a lot of internal struggles they had to over come, especially when they were still Mata. They're own infighting almost caused them to lose to the Bohrok-Kal and it wasn't until they overcame this that they finally started to realize how important unity, one of their three virtues, really was. Granted, out the the three main Toa teams, that being the Nuva, Metru and Mahri, I can't say we've had more time to spend with the Nuva, because all 19 characters were there from the beginning. However, I feel the Nuva managed to show their growth better, as by 2008, they were able to take on 8 Makuta at once, granted handicapped ones, but still. On Mata Nui, it took 7 of them to beat Teridax, and even then, Taka just set his plan back, never defeated him. The Metru also had problems, but I just feel the Nuva we're plagued by more and they suffered from them more as well. They split up for pete's sake! As for the Mahri, I feel they were almost too conservative and perfect. In Jaller's bio, it outright says that he wants to avoid the problems of the Toa before him, and has learned from their mistakes. Besides Kongu being a baby about not getting the mask of flight or Jaller feeling threatened by Matoro's ever growing leadership role, not much happened. They got the job done, and Matoro is mostly responsible. This doesn't make them bad, just basic. As for my least favorite Team, it has to Lhikan's, mostly because they were all able to be picked off by a single Dark Hunter, and what team needs 4 Toa of Ice....seriously? We also don't know much about them, but two of them also turned evil. They must not have been very trustworthy Toa.
  9. Well, everything has to come to an end. Obviously when I was younger, I refused to think about that ever happening, as we knew there were years of story left to tell. Sadly, it ended prematurely and I was greatly saddened by it. Yes, I cried when Lego sent that letter to BZPower. I was sitting at my desk I am now and just lost it. I grew up with BIONICLE and while at the time, I was glad the story would continue, I still wanted sets. I was 14, give me a break.
  10. Metru Nui. To be exact, On-Metru. The archives seemed really cool.
  11. Onua. We are similar in character and I feel we'd get along well.
  12. Metru style head and masks with the elongated eyes pieces. Those half eye pieces from what, 2007 I think, we're weird when you looked at them from the back. Anyway, back to heads. I feel the Metru heads stayed around for so long because of their versatility, and you can see how things evolved around them, such as the blue visors also from 2007, the small eye pieces, and even how Metru style masks also slightly changed like with Tahu. However, the heads themselves stayed the same. They were just as ugly as the Mata heads though.
  13. None of my friends like it, but then again, they don't like my other fandoms either, so honestly I don't care. I'm not into what they like, so while we have nothing in common hobby wise, that's not the sole basis of a friendship.
  14. Yes, I believe so. I'm not sure if he knows how to though at the moment, him spending how many thousands of years thinking he was a Ta-Matoran.
  15. Magnetism, Iron and Gravity are too over powered in my opinion as well. That's why the brotherhood of Makuta pretty much wiped out all Toa of the first too, as they posed to much of a risk to their plan.
  16. While I love the Turaga as characters, and especially as Toa, I feel it's unnecessary and will just force them awkwardly back into the story. You said it in your first post. Look at how many known Toa Teams we have. The Nuva (Tahu and Taka included) The Mahri, The Hagah and even some have been revived, like Lhikan's. Also, think about what would happen to the entire matoran universe's inhabitants without our six influential leaders acting as Turaga. Dume can't do it all himself. While it would be cool at first, I think they're better off being Turaga. They completed their destiny, and now they can advise our Toa Nuva and Toa Marhi, as well as lead the matoran on Spherus Magna.
  17. 1/5, sorry. Granted, I've just come back after like 4 years, but I think you're pretty new here, right?
  18. Yes, but to be honest, I don't remember what set it was, as it was a while ago. Also, it wasn't that big of a deal, as I had the few pieces I needed as spare parts and I was able to build it like it never happened.
  19. While it applies to this website as any other I'm on, the only thing that is easier to do on websites then real life is talk about fandoms with friends. For me, it's BIONICLE, Ben 10 or Power Rangers/Super Sentai. Naturally, I don't have many friends in real life that are interested in any of these. Thus websites dedicated to them are great, because it allows me to interact with others that share my same interests, and make new friends.
  20. The Dark Hunter Eliminator killed all the Toa Mangai when Teridax/Dume sent them on missions in or around the great barrier, slowly leaving only Lhikan to guard the entire city.
  21. Toa Tahu Mata. It was new years I believe, maybe an hour before 2002, and my older cousin had gotten a spare Tahu Mata for his birthday, and for whatever reason, gave it to me. Needless to say, I loved it. I brought it home after the ball dropped and I was just staring at how awesome this cool red robot was. It took me a while to go to bed, but i remember loving him to death, and then on my birthday a few months later, my cousin deemed BIONICLE "childish" and gave me almost all of the sets from the Toa Mata up to the Toa Nuva. I had to go back and get the Borok-Kal later on, and then continued with the Rakshi as they were the current guys out, but yes, that is how I got into BIONICLE with my first set Toa Tahu Mata.
  22. If the Mask of Life does it, I suppose. If he would need to hop in EP, I'd go with no, pretty much. But I see no need for it. And I kind of like that there's now some variety amongst the abilities of a Toa team, even if it does confuse things. True, it does make things different. I'm just curious as to how the other Nuva will react to him being so OP now though.
